s - the venue that you hired to have your wedding - placed me and my gear in direct sunlight which caused everything to overheat and for my microphone to malfunction. I left this complaint with Karen and you can read it now: Karen - Last night was pretty miserable for me, too. I would like to ask that for your future DJs you create a better area for the ceremony especially during such hot conditions. Having the direct sunlight pour over me for an hour was not only MISERABLE but it ruined my gear, left me completely drenched in sweat - which is why my microphone malfunctioned during the ceremony. This was what set the day off on a bad foot. I do weddings every weeekend and the conditions are much nicer. There was not even a table setup for me at the ceremony station. Indoors at your Reception area I was in complete darkness trying to set up and frustratingly asked for some light to be turned on so I could see what I was doing. The man who came over to help me was very rude and not pleasant to be around which I remember from my first time DJing there. I was informed that people in the crowd were unable to hear me which I tried to improve upon by changing settings and felt like things ran smoothly the second half of the event. I followed the timeline and played all of Rica's Must Play songs. I decided I did not want to DJ another wedding at your venue though as it is way too far away for me to drive and you have many upgrades you need to do to make it a more ideal situation. The reception aesthetically needs a facelift None of this comes down on you who I have always felt was a very nice person but I did need to explain where I was feeling throughout the day." My sincere apologies that my microphone did not work - but that was out of my control - it was caused by the venue's conditions - which you really cannot fault me for - as I used this same gear the next weekend and it went fine. My "zero Enthusiasm" as you call it was actually me overcoming the awful conditions of the day as I was literally drenched in sweat during your ceremony while trying to overcoming the situation of the microphone not working during the Reception. I wanted you to see what was going on from my perspective and again I'm sorry that you were not happy.

e music - I did this actually after finding out that the FIRST time I made an announcement with music playing no one could hear me so each time after I did lower the music. Trial and error. I was not rude to anyone though. Sorry this was not a good experience for you but I was only following your directions - you had listed the songs for me to play and I played them.
