e knows his way around the turntables. We have some obscure taste in music, and wanted to find someone who would take our requests and mix them in with what our guests would actually want to listen to. He did just that! In the planning process we had a shared google document that my husband and I were constantly updating with the songs we wanted to include. For some of the more obscure choices, we provided the files to Don via dropbox, since it was music we had on hand already (why make him go looking for the songs?). As the big day creeped up, I provided him with a timeline with what song we wanted then, and 'fade out' or cutoff times if applicable (i.e. the father/daughter mother/son dances - we only wanted them to go for 2 minutes max). We didn't have much on the 'do not play' list, but he refrained from corny 'wedding' music without us even having to say anything. It was perfect. Throughout all the planning, we never met! All of it was done via skype, email and phone - which worked out kind of perfect considering how busy we were. The sound was great, and I know he had his work cut out for him with my crazy family members making song requests and generally being obnixious.. but everyone had a fantastic time dancing the night away!! I highly recommend Don - he will bring your big day together so it is as perfect as you hoped!
