DJ Donovan Yaukey

We used Phantom Shadow for our wedding DJ services. Whitney was a wonderful coordinator. We had Jen as a DJ and it went well. She strayed from our list some but our guests seemed to enjoy it so we were fine with this. There were some initial communication problems before the wedding (not getting back to us) but we were able to iron those out about 1.5 weeks prior to the wedding. She had good music ideas, as well as selections. Overall, good experience.

We used Jon Smithfield from Phantom Shadow as the DJ for our wedding on 5/6/17 at the Gettysburg Hotel. They also provided a gobo light and uplighting. Jon did an amazing job that far surpassed our expectations, and we are so happy that we chose Phantom Shadow. The process was extremely easy with the worksheets that they have you fill out prior to the event. Plus, Whitney was very helpful with making sure that everything was in order and went through several rounds of proofs with us to make sure our gobo light was perfect. On the day of the wedding, Jon did an excellent job of creating an atmosphere that energized our guests and got them on the dance floor, which isn’t an easy task with a group that spans several generations. He listened to all of our requests and preferences, and from there seamlessly selected music that kept the party going all night. If you’re looking for an experienced DJ for your wedding that does more than just hit play on a playlist—that actually engages with your guests and ensures everyone is having a great time, all while being true to what the bride and groom want —I highly recommend Phantom Shadow.

I can not being to express how thrilled we were with our experience with Phantom Shadow, Donovan, and Mason. My guests are still talking about it and requesting contact information for there events! Lighting was beyond what we expected. The professionalism between my other vendors and this company was flawless. The interaction between the djs and my guests were memorable. New twists on old traditions that that absolutely blew everyone away. Fun, entertaining, and just an overall delight!

In my recent November wedding we used Phantom Shadow as our DJ. We had Jenn as our DJ. She was great in some aspects. We had this really elborate entrance planned out for our reception, which needed to be timed with music and flicking the lights off at the exact time at particular point in a song. She executed this flawlessly by working with The Gettysburg Hotel staff by practicing beforehand. Although she was pretty great; we were a little disappointed with the music. Only because we live in Philadelphia and go out on the weekends to dance to house music and we gave her a list to play off, yet there were some off the wall songs such as the wobble (which is just awful in our thoughts and a little too -uhm much). Overall, she did a great job and for the most part attentive to our needs!

Our DJ service was great and everyone enjoyed the music at our wedding. The one downfall was it was hard to hear the DJ in certain areas of the reception hall. He also sounded like a football announcer or an auctioneer-or possibly a hybrid of both. Which people either loved or hated, and unfortunately I was the latter. Although, I had a wonderful night parting with the family so the DJ did great in that respect. My advice would be to meet your DJ in person if possible or just define your style better then I did.

Jen was wonderful to work with and knew exactly what we wanted after our first meeting with her. Highly recommend phantom shadow for any event. They are fabulous!

The owner deejayed our wedding. He was friendly, came to my house to meet and discuss all the details, and demonstrated patience when I was indecisive. :P haha He interacted with the guests well and was very professional. The only thing that I wish he wouldn't have done was include so many remixes of songs that I had requested. However, I'm sure that this could be remedied by requesting that only originals be played. :)

We booked Phantom Shadow Limousines at a bridal show, which meant we received a pretty hefty discount off the normal price for services. Our limousine driver was very professional and kind. He was very willing to assist with just about anything, from helping people in and out of the limo, loading the trunk with everyone's belongings, to making sure everyone was comfortable. Even though we were half an hour late in leaving the reception, he told us not to worry about it and even emptied out the rest of the coolers of drinks for the groom and I to take with us following the reception! I really enjoyed our service, even though it was really brief! I highly recommend Phantom Shadow Limos - timely, professional, and caring to customers!

Phantom Shadow is a tried and true DJ service. You can never go wrong with them. Everyone is very professional and you can be guaranteed a great night!

Phantom Shadow has a reputation for being professional and great at what they do. My wedding was no exception. The DJ was on the floor with my guests, getting everyone involved. It was everything I could have hoped for. I highly recommend Phantom Shadow.

Our DJ played the recessional for the processional and then never played any music for the recessional. He came unprepared to play the music we had discussed weeks prior for the father/daughter dance. I had to ask one of my guests to download the song on her IPhone and borrow the phone for the dance. (Horrifying) He was nervous and made everyone feel on edge.

We enjoyed working with Phantom Shadow. There was a bit of confusion at one point because I had called to figure out when to meet with our DJ and no one got back to me so when I called again I was told that everyone was booked so I had a bit of a freak out at first but soon got a call back and was told that we would recieve an upgrade because we had already paid for services. The DJ was great, and kept everything moving right along. He played exactly what we asked for and didn't play anything we didn't want (I was specific about certain artists not being played too). Overall I would recommend them.

I had 2 DJ's at the wedding, and they were both awesome! I would absolutely reccomend this company for their experience and because their prep-work/ organization was remarkable.

The service was great! The Hummer Limo was beautiful!
