Our daughter wanted a DJ for her wedding and we wanted a band. So glad we listened to her and what an amazing DJ that DJ Dre is! He and his sidekick had everyone dancing all night long. They were even able to get those “I don’t dance types” out there. They were so high energy that no one wanted the night to end. I can’t say enough good things about them. I have been at other weddings where no one knows the speeches, introductions etc are going on. DJ Dre was on top of all of that! Highly recommend!!

If you are getting married in the metro Atlanta area and do not hire DJ Dre as your wedding, you are doing something wrong! I could not say enough amazing things about Dre - he was so communicative, funny, friendly, and energetic. Our wedding guests are still raving about him and his partner that evening. They both were on the dance floor interacting guests all night. Dre was so good at reading the room and playing music that fit how everyone was feeling. The dance floor was NEVER empty! We also hired Dre to provide our Photo Booth and that was awesome as well!! Our guests loved it!

My husband and I got married in October of last year. We had originally planned for a February wedding, but had to postpone because of the pandemic and were super relieved when Dre was able to accommodate our new date. On top of being flexible, Dre was very warm and welcoming from day one. Our first interaction was through a phone call – he was very informative, kind, and the passion he had for his work came through with every word he spoke. We knew that Dre would be able to provide the best DJ service for our wedding and he did just that! In preparation for the big day, we came up with a pretty extensive list with all of the music we’d love to be the soundtrack for our wedding. Dre was super helpful with creating the perfect lineup of songs from what we gave him. He was also very comforting when it came to any pre-wedding worries about things that could go wrong in terms of technical difficulties, reassuring us that everything would go smoothly. On the day of the wedding, Dre was nothing short of amazing! The ceremony was held outside and Dre came very prepared. Our officiant was given a microphone and could be heard clearly. The music from the beginning of the ceremony all the way through the last song played was exactly what we hoped for – calm when we wanted elegance and vibrant when we wanted to party! Multiple guests stopped to tell us how much fun they had with our DJ. Dre made us feel very much taken care of. If any issues came up, he was quick to adjust and always made us feel included in the process. To us, the music for our wedding was incredibly important because it would encompass nearly every moment of the day. Because of Dre's professionalism and wonderful service, my husband and I will look back at our wedding and know that it was truly the perfect day! To any inquiring couples that are looking for a DJ that makes you a priority and shares the same level as excitement for your big day as you, DJ Dre 1800 is a 10/10 – highly recommend!

There are not enough stars for the level of service DJ Dre provided for our wedding! Dre was the first vendor we locked, and we knew from the first conversation that this was the man to emcee and DJ our wedding. Throughout what became a nearly two-year planning process Dre maintained the same level of excitement for our big day - remembering even the smallest details from conversations had months (or even a year!) prior. When planning we didn't brief Dre on a set list, but rather a general "vibe" we were going for...and he NAILED it. He kept our wedding party organized and hyped, our guests energized, and all our other vendors happy. He was in the DJ booth, he was on the dance floor, he was going table by table to sing with our guests. With Dre you don't just get a DJ, you get an emcee and day-of partner who goes out of his way to be in sync with both you and your guests to create the exact atmosphere you are going for. In the 48 hours after our wedding we were approached by several guests and vendors saying who was your DJ, can we have him / refer him, and even does he travel to other states. Dre, thank you for making our people happy and our day special!

DJ Dre came highly recommended to us from our venue and boy he did not disappoint!! From the first time we talked to him, we felt like he was an old friend. He listened to everything we wanted and executed it all perfectly. He also worked with our budget and was so gracious about it. DJ Dre is an absolutely wonderful man and a highly-skilled professional deejay. From start to finish, he gave exceptional service. He provided music during the ceremony and the reception. His sound system was excellent, and he timed every piece of music for each event (processional/recessional, bride's entrance, special dances, etc.) of the wedding perfectly. At the reception, he kept the party hopping from the first to the last song. He interacted with the crowd and played music that spanned generations so that every guest, from the youngest to the oldest, danced all night. I cannot recommend DJ Dre enough. Whenever I need deejay services, he will be the first one that I call.

Dre was absolutely fantastic! My husband is a huge music buff, and picking a DJ was very important to him. He was the second vendor we picked (venue was first), and he was the perfect addition to our day! He worked with us to understand our music taste and created the perfect atmosphere. Dre was amazing. Our dance floor was PACKED all night which is saying a lot during a pandemic! ha! He was so much fun, everyone loved him. Got out on the dance floor with us and worked with us every step of the way. If you are in the atlanta metro area PICK HIM!

If you want your wedding to turn into a giant dance party where your friends and family will write you for weeks saying that they have never had more fun on a dance floor (and during Covid no less), then you will need DJ Dre by your side. He is kind, helpful, and interactive. Dre is super personable and will leave your wedding guests thinking they have a new best friend, but also he isn't intrusive and it never feels like it becomes the Dre show. He brings the right combination to the table! I never realized until I started planning a wedding just how many pieces of the whole event hinged on music - this isn't just your first dance, but your walk down the aisle, your bouquet toss, your cake cutting. It can be a lot, but Dre makes it all so easy. He has forms that have already thought it out for you so you can just fill in the blank if you are particular, or he has suggestion lists, or even options to let him pick from a genre (Frank Sinatra happy hour? Yes, please). He is so much fun to work with and is so amazing at catering to your specific crowd. Our music ranged from oldies, to Motown, to more modern pop songs and he managed to mesh it all in together. The dance floor was always packed, and he noticed things to keep it that way, like how my Aunts can't resist a good Motown jam. How he managed to keep everyone from my 88-year-old grandmother to my friends in their 20s happy is beyond me, but he did. We have only great things to say about him!

Just do one thing......book Andre aka DJ Dre! He made our reception so much fun! He was very engaging with our guest and a really genuine person with a great smile! We originally had a wedding planned for 200 guest but decided late summer to downsize to 65 guest to include family only. We had already booked Dre for the larger venue and knew we still wanted music but thinking it would be just background music. Well after dinner that all changed! Andre got the party started and everyone from the 5 year old flower girl all the way to the 85 year old grandparents were on the dance floor! I can’t say enough about the night. Trust me you won’t be disappointed!

The best decision we made for our wedding was hiring DJ Dre! He kept everyone (young and old) on the dance floor all night, even with social distancing. He made sure everyone had a great time and kept the audience involved and engaged. He also did the music and mics for our ceremony, which was spot on and a huge help. DJ Dre was hands down the best DJ I’ve ever seen at an event! He had the best positive energy from start to finish. We have never had experience with a DJ before, so we had no idea what to look for when searching for one. I can literally not recommend DJ DRE enough!! He is AMAZING. He had everyone on the dance floor the entire night and he was so interactive with the crowd. It was the most fun night of my life. If you’re getting married soon you will be so happy you picked him. Our uncle from Chicago said he was going to fly him up to Chicago for all his events bc he had so much fun. I love dj dre! We hired him for both our ceremony and reception. The music was a very important part of the wedding for me, because my husband and I's family/friends love a good party. Dj Dre was super personable and friendly from the first phone call I had with him. He was also very professional and punctual. His client portal is AMAZING! Basically you pick "must play" "would like to hear" or "don't play" songs for the wedding as well as submit the schedule and designated songs for different special moments. Dj Dre also runs through the details the week before the wedding. Communication was easy, timely, and smooth all the way through. All of the wedding guests loved the music and he did an awesome job during transitions and pumping up the crowd. He is a great dj at a great price. I'm so glad he was a part of our special day.

Obsessed is an understatement. People get weary about having a DJ over a band, and when you have Dre, you don't even think about what you could've had. Best DJ ever! One of the things that was most important to me during my reception was having a top notch dj. After asking around, I heard an abundance of compliments surround DJ Dre 1800, and I knew at that point I had to hire him. Let me just tell you- from the time we had our initial consult to our final consult just before the wedding...Dre was incredibly professional, thoughtful, easy to talk to, and full of suggestions to make it the best night ever. Our wedding reception was a BLAST, and I owe that to the way Dj Dre ran the show- from exceptional MC talent to the perfect song selections. He managed to make latin, oldies, and hip hop flow effortlessly, and every person there had an excellent time and could barely leave the dance floor. Hire this man, and you are guaranteed the night of your life.

Labor Day weekend, DJ Dre 1800 did our 20th anniversary vow renewal and reception, and he is so personable and really listened to our family. We called, met and discussed everything many times time to make sure it was perfect! We really incorporated our children, and he hit it out of the park. He also did our up lighting and was able to work with our social media wall (that was a hit using Walls.IO!) and “day of” coordinator, and AV vendor to execute it exactly as we envisioned. It was an amazing event with all of our friends and family. Also he has an awesome portal that he will provide to you to upload your preferred music list for various sections of your event. We had our dream event at the Biltmore Ballrooms in large part of amazing vendors like DJ Dre 1800!

Dre is "da bomb". This is the second wedding we have booked him for. Most recently my Son and DIL, Jonathan and Jordan at Wolf Mountain Vineyards. His enthusiasm and organization is impeccable. I found DJ DRE while searching for a DJ for our wedding. After reading several reviews we felt he was who we were looking for. From first contact, he was attentive to our needs and inquired about our expectations. The ability to select music that we wanted to hear during our reception was a welcome feature.
