DJ Dynamight

Mike was simply incredible! Such a pleasure to work with! Not only was he professional and prompt, he really took the time to look at my loooong list of song “suggestions” and not only play the majority of songs on the list, but also, add others I never even thought of. If you are looking for a DJ who will set the vibe for your wedding and have everyone moving (even your 84 year old Grandma) lol, DJ Dynamight is the PERFECT DJ for you!!

I couldn’t ask for a better DJ for my wedding. Mike had everyone out of their seats dancing til the wee hours of the morning. He played various genres of music - soca, reggae, hip hop, comtempory - to cater to all our guests. Many of our friends and family said it was the best wedding they attended. My husband and I gave him little direction because we were consumed with other details and he was able to choose perfect songs for our first dance, cake cutting, etc etc. I don’t know what I would have done without Mikes attention to detail when it came to music selection. Great DJ, highly professional and I would hire again and again and again.

This review is LONG over due!! DJ Dynamight played for my wedding in 2013. He traveled from Brooklyn to Rye, NY with out any issues. A timely DJ, a gentleman, very professional and easy to work with. My husband and I couldn't land on just one song for our first dance so DJ Dynamight suggested we merge the songs together. What a great mix it was! Completely seamless... To this day we continue to receive compliments about the musical arrangement of our first dance from our guest. Whenever anyone asks if i know of a good DJ I ALWAYS refer DJ Dynamight.

DJ Dynamight is the coolest DJ ever. He played songs from any era my husband and I requested. He and his team were very professional. Definitely a delight to work with.

DJ Dynamight was the only DJ that we considered when we got married in 2003, and he did not disappoint. The guests had a fantastic time, and even today, many of them comment on the memories from that day. He knew exactly what to play to keep everyone moving and grooving. Book him now, you won’t be disappointed.

We were so excited to have DJ Dynamight deejay our wedding reception. The bride has known him since they were teenagers and kept up with him through his TurboCharge podcast. When it was time to plan our intimate Long Island wedding, we were grateful he was available. He was patient with our evolving requests, arrived early and was flexible to our last minute changes during the actual reception. We are both first-generation, but hail from the Caribbean like him, so it was easy for him to provide a mix of music that both we and our guests could enjoy. He helped make our day so special. We are looking for other events where we can hire DJ Dynamight again!

I was searching for a DJ who could do a really good mix of dancehall/reggae and kompa for my Jamaican/Haitian wedding and DJ Dynamight was amazing! I also come from a Christian family and keeping the music clean was a must and he understood that. To make the night even more memorable, he gave us a link with the mix for our night. I plan on using his for any major event that requires a DJ that I am hosting in the future.

After searching the internet and viewing and hearing the same reception mixes from various entertainment groups we knew it wasn't the vibe we were hoping for. A referral from my photographer led me to DJ Dynamight. From the moment I heard some of his mixes and spoke to him about the event, we knew it would be perfect! We wanted a celebration with everyone on the dance floor and that's exactly what we had. Not only was everyone dancing but every guest expressed how much they enjoyed the music and the compliments continue to come. I went into the night unsure of how much I would dance, I thought there would be periods where I would take a break but, I NEVER left the dance floor unless I had to. Our reception was so much fun and much of the credit goes to DJ Dynamight. DJ Dynamight catered the music to the crowd and kept everyone engaged. Each song was better than the last! Aside from being an AMAZING DJ, DJ Dynamight was very professional and maintained great communication throughout the planning process. He traveled from NYC to the suburbs of Philly for our event without any issues or delays. I can't say it enough, THANK YOU Mike aka DJ Dynamight!
