He is originally from California, now native to the Jersey Shore. Fully licensed and insured to GET DOWN with you on your special day! DJ Erik is the type of DJ and MC that can be energetic front and center, or hang out of the spotlight. He will soundtrack your ideal night in any situation. He strives to communicate well and promptly, plan ahead, and exceed expectations with performance and pricing. DJ Erik has performed and MC'd weddings since 2012. In addition to a resume that includes events and bars/clubs in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and San Francisco, his professional background includes theatrical lighting design and stagecraft, offering you add-ons to elevate your night. His acoustical knowledge is deep and brings all this to bear with premium sound, lighting packages, Photo Booth, and more. No event is too small or too big - DJ Erik is great working from your playlist, or crafting something special based on your description. Here is a note from DJ Erik: I like to keep things easy. We talk ahead of time, and I ask a few quick questions and then I take it from there. I typically show up early. I coordinate with whoever’s running the show that day and make sure we’re good and prepared for everything to go smoothly. If the timeline changes, no stress—I adapt fast and keep things going with vibes all the time. I liked being able to say: "Yes, we can do that." Or: "Let me make it better for you."
