Scott is AMAZING!!! He came highly recommended to us by a close friend and now I would highly recommend him to anyone! I quickly found out why he has won so many awards! From the beginning of the planning process he has always communicated quickly and professionally. You'll never be waiting long for a reply to an email. He accommodated all of our requests and used his expertise to make extremely helpful suggestions to please the crowd. I appreciated his honesty in telling us we needed more well rounded music for all of the guests because he was right! The quality of the speakers and sound was awesome and we never had to worry that guests were unable to hear the family speeches on the microphone. Scott truly shines in his ability to control the flow of the wedding. He remembered all of the little details like making sure our glasses were filled for the toast, giving us breath mints after dinner before we visited our guests, and keeping an eye on every little thing that I wouldn't have noticed as the busy bride. Scott kept the dance floor going all night long. So many of my friends had weddings in the last year and I've NEVER seen a party like that before!!! He even passed out the glow necklaces I purchased. He exceeded all of our high expectations and more. If you're looking for a true master of ceremonies look no further. I was amazed how the uplighting was so gorgeous and Scott added creative touches which brought much needed color all around the reception hall. So many of my guests have already complimented us on the choice of Scott as our DJ. We will be forever grateful to him for helping us have the wedding of our dreams!!! I'd highly recommend him because you won't find a better DJ in this area for his reasonable price!!! Thanks Scott!

Scott (DJ Express) is amazing! He is prompt returning emails and did a great job announcing and playing music. My guests remarked that he played great music! I recommend you go with his suggestion of playing music from different eras. Our older guests appreciated that some older music was played for them. Scott can really 'feel out' the crowd and play music that keeps the party going all night. My guests were dancing the entire night! I highly recommend Scott!

Scott was incredibly kind and professional. From the moment we met him, my husband and I were at ease. His knowledge about the entire wedding process and his confidence in himself and his business made our decision a no-brainer. He is very organized, which is a quality highly valued in the bridal world. He took care of everything on our big day - making announcements, organizing guests, and ensuring my husband and me were well taken care of is just the beginning. He put our minds at ease as he has a "no surprises for the bride and groom" policy and checks with you first before allowing someone microphone time. He coordinated all the events at the reception and played some wonderful music. He has an extensive list of popular songs that we were able to go through with him and decide what would be played, what could be played if requested, and what songs would not be played. It was a relief to us to know that it was Scott who would be with us on our day since he is the face of the company. The attention to detail he provided was exceptional. We are lucky to have had him and we couldn't be more happy with jhis services!

Scott was amazing on our wedding day. He did a great job of keeping things on track and moving smoothly. One of our groomsmen left our party before the rehearsal and Scott did a wonderful job of making sure everyone got introduced correctly in the new line up. We were grateful to have his help, he carried our plates and got us drinks. He directed us on what to do and what works best. Scott kept our party going and people on the dance floor. He is experienced and affordable; we would recommend him to anyone!

Scott did a great job on the uplighting at our reception and making sure that my husband and I were taken care of. He carried my plate to the table so I wouldn't drop anything on my dress, got us both drinks from the bar, and made sure everything got done quickly and efficiently so we could spend the majority of the time dancing. However, he would've gotten five stars had he not been so rude to my husband, parents, and other guests. My husband went up to request a song and he told him he was up there doing his job which was to keep people on the dance floor, and the dance floor had people on it so he wasn't changing the song. Which I feel was unprofessional because we were the ones PAYING him. Then, my mom requested a song and he told her no that was he wasn't taking any requests. Also, my husbands aunt requested a song and he proceeded to tell her no and that the night wasn't about her. I think that he made things go smooth, but he was very set in his own ways and left some of my guests feeling uneasy. I think he could've handled requests a lot better.

Scott Simmons is hard working, attentive to detail, organized, and an all around good guy. He made it so that we had a completely stress-free night. He plays music that gets people out on the dance floor while still keeping your own musical preferences in mind. I could not have asked for a more professional, awesome DJ/MC. This guy is the best, do yourself a favor and hire him for your wedding!

Scott was a pleasure to work with. He was very easy to communicate with and came very prepared. Scott provided a perfect balance to let us have our say in what we wanted but to also take it way so he could ensure that everyone would have a great time. Scott kept the flow of the evening going and helped us gauge our time better. I searched through many DJs and Scott was easily around 1/2 price if not a 1/3 of the price of some of the places I looked. I can easily say expectations were exceeded and many people said to me that it was the best wedding DJ they heard in a long while. I can't think of a single minute that people weren't dancing.

DJ Scotty was very professional in all details of our wedding. He has been doing this for many years and it shows as he is very familiar with everything that goes into DJing a wedding. He did both our ceremony and reception with which we were very pleased. He is able to make suggestions on how to make things run more smoothly, but still is flexible enough to understand that it's your day and what you want is what he will do.

Scott is great dj. He is attentive to the bride and grooms needs throughout the whole wedding and goes above and beyond what a dj would normal do for you. You get to pick all the music and he keeps everyone on the dance floor! He was so great!

Scott Simmons from DJ Express was a great Dj/Host. He took it upon himself to make sure the order of things went smooth and all the guests had attention on events (he had a great speaking voice and never mumbled.) I would recommend him to any bride/groom who are looking for a great DJ. He isn't someone who just plays things on the radio, he has 25 years experience and plays songs that will keep your ppl on the dance floor and dancing.

Scott from DJ Express did an Amazing job DJing and MCing our wedding in September! He was very involved and kept everything on time! All the guests had a great time dancing and he kept everyone entertained!! He also provided us with up-lighting at our venue which was a great addition!!! I would highly recommend DJ Express!!

We hired Scott for our wedding ceremony and reception. Meetings and communication before were great he was easy to get a hold of. I didn't have to worry about anything the day of. He went beyond just being the DJ and made sure things ran smoothly for the entire wedding. He is EXTREMELY professional and he did an amazing job. His price was wonderful compared to what others were quoting and I feel like we got more than what others were willing to do. I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone!!!!! Just make sure you book him quick because he fills up fast!

DJ Express was good at keeping the event on track. If there are specific songs you want played or don't want played, stick to your guns, it is your wedding day.

Scott of DJ Express did an amazing job keeping our wedding going and exciting. He became a true leader and the final product was great. He dealt with very strong personalities of some of the wedding guests and handled with ease.

I highly recommend Scott Simmons from DJ Express to host any event. Scott was the DJ for my wedding on 8/25/13 and he went above and beyond the duties of a "normal" DJ. My husband and I loved Scott from the very first time we met. He was willing to meet us at any location, was very organized, and was always very nice and professional. My husband and I were concerned to start the wedding planning process since we would be having a Jewish/Greek hybrid wedding. That being said, we wanted and needed some particular music to be played at our reception. Scott was very willing and capable of making these adjustments for us. My family was very difficult at times but Scott was very nice about it and only listened to my husband and I, which was very nice to know! Scott is more than just a DJ. He represents you and your entire wedding by making sure everything that you want is done how you want it. Additionally, what sold me was his general customer service outreach. He greeted all of my guests and showed them where their tables were, offered to take my dinner plate to my table, and was fun the entire night! Scott's prices, packages, add ons, and customer service cannot be matched! Do not waste your money on some big company when you can get amazing service with DJ Express at half the cost!!

He is the best MC/DJ around. He was very professional, and he knew how to appeal to both the younger and older crowds. Our guests were very impressed with our reception because of him. Also, his lighting packages are a great addition to the package, and affordable! Our reception was gorgeous!!

Scott was the most amazing DJ and he made our ournight absolutely perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better DJ and I would recommend him to anyone!!!

Scott was very professional and organized. He had a list of top 200 wedding songs and you can add songs to it you want or cross off songs you definitely don't want. He did a good job keeping the night going and keeping everyone on the dance floor! His rate was better than any other dj I found as well.

Heard nothing but good things about them, but I wasn't very impressed with their DJ-ing skills.

Scott has a lot of experience and was easy to work with. He didn't get 5 stars though because he messed up our receptions end time and played our end of the night song an hour early. This definitely killed the party and a lot of people left because they thought the reception was about to leave. He was very apologetic and gave us a cd of all of our specialty wedding songs, which was nice. He did uplighting around the room as well, which weren't the colors we had discussed. Overall, ok service.

Scott did an excellent job DJing my wedding. My husband and I were at first a bit concerned about what kind of DJ we would get within our minimal budget--then we found Scott. Prior to our wedding he met with us and discussed my husband and I's music likes and dislikes and also the style of party we were going for at our wedding. He listened and hit it perfectly--many of our guests commented on how good the music was. Scott is also a gifted emcee; my wedding was a difficult party to keep going, it was at noon! Nevertheless, Scott kept my guests engaged and made a potentially very boring very short reception a lot of fun and kept everyone involved. Scott genuinely cares that each of his clients has an amazing wedding day and works very hard to provide such.

The DJ was friendly and thorough. Before the reception started he ran through the night events and how things were going to go so the whole bridal party knew what to expect. He gives you a 200 songs list to highlight and crossout things you don't want. He doesn't really plan it if its not on the sheet. There were specific songs we wanted played and he never played them. He wasn't very interactive with the crowd. I don't think a lot of people liked the music he was playing because we didn't have a lot of people dancing at times.
