Outside of his services, Nathan himself is a great person who kept tabs on us throughout our night. He asked if we needed anything and even brought drinks to our sweetheart table. When he saw that people were constantly coming up to us during dinner to take pictures, he reminded us we can take some time to ourselves and enjoy our meal. Not only did we get a DJ that night, but we felt like we had a friend that was looking out for us. All in all, we highly recommend Nathan for any couple that is looking for a DJ. The lighting (photo) and additional services he provided (sparklers, etc.) were amazingly priced, too. On our wedding day, he lit our space in Afton, VA beautifully and worked so well with our venue. He regularly checked in with us throughout the evening, making sure we were ok with the order of events, asking if we needed drinks, etc. Volume of the music, announcements, and clarity of the whole sound system were perfect and we never needed them adjusted. My maid of honor sang our first dance song, and DJ Fit had no issue accommodating her guitar and ensuring that she sounded incredible. He read the room well, with music choices from our list that always felt perfect. He even lead a few group dances himself, which got a lot of people out on the dance floor, but never felt corny (photo)! He was a cool MC for our party, and we had the utmost confidence handing him the reigns. Cannot recommend DJ Fit enough for enhancing our special day!

Picking music was one of the harder things for us to plan, and Nathan did a great job at supplementing what we had with fun songs everyone loved! He also made sure to coordinate with all the other vendors to ensure a smooth day! Lastly, he went out of his way to make sure my husband and I and our families had everything we needed and we taken care of that day! You’d be mistaken to not book this guy! He’s the best!!

He got the timing exactly right for all the important song moments, like recessional and first dances. He listened to all our requests, like making mininmal announcements during reception, and was happy to queue up whatever song we wanted to hear next on the dance floor. He's a good listener and is both calm and joyful in his presence. Nathan really cares and that is very clear in the whole experience of working with him, from the first intro call through to the day of the wedding.

He also provided our photobooth at a competitive price, with unlimited prints for guests and digital copies of both the strips and individual images came to my inbox very shortly after the wedding! Finally, we did not have a videographer as we felt it wasn’t our style. Nathan offers simple home-movie-style video recording of events which was perfect for us. We got all the important moments captured and it has been great watching these back since our wedding. We look forward to showing them to our future children!

At one point my bridesmaid said "is that your DJ? He is so attentive to you he could another wedding planner." She had seen him checking in with me and he went to go get me a drink as I hadn't had time to go to the bar. He made sure I was aware when we got off schedule and how he was going to adjust things to ensure I had plenty of time on the dancefloor. I (sort of jokingly) wanted to play all my favorite songs for the wedding and DJ fit basically did just that. In fact he played so many great songs that everyone was sad when the dancing was over. He did a great job of tailoring the music to fit the vibes. He got on the dancefloor and helped the guests learn the wobble which was a huge hit. He loaned his tie to my husband so he could put it on his head to dance. He had light up shoes! The list goes on and on. He was seriously the best - I felt like I was in such good hands. We also did the FitBooth and it was soooo worth it. We were super lucky and had his wife as our photo booth attendant - she was so wonderful. We loved going back and looking at all the photos of our guests in our guestbook we made from the photostrips. Everyone said it was so much fun and it was in use all night. DJ fit took us to go to the photobooth during dinner and I am SO GLAD he did because that was the only time we had to go the whole night. It was things like that where I look back and think "Wow I'm so glad DJ Fit was there." We appreciated how prepared he was at the meeting with questions, and took special care to ensure he was pronouncing everyones name correctly. He worked perfectly in tandem with our wedding coordinator from Saavy Affairs and knew the schedule of the day perfectly. He was critical to queueing the transitions for different events at the wedding. For instance, there were a few times where things did not go as planned, we told him how we felt, and he created transitions to move events along. DJ Fit is perfect for you if you already know what kind of music you want. He is clear with instructions & is very lively.

In the middle of our reception, we experienced a breaker trip and they quickly plugged into their back up power and seamlessly kept the music and party going. It is also fantastic that lighting came with the package and was not extra! And my wife was obsessed with his light-up shoes! We are so happy we hired DJ Fit for our wedding!

Nathan (DJFit) was the 2nd DJ we reached out to 2 months before our wedding, but he made us feel so at ease even after the first phone meeting that we quickly forgot about the other. He has such a refreshing mix of professionalism and chill vibe. He has all of the answers before you can even ask the questions. He's genuinely hype for your event and needs. All around a great guy. Affordable, but not at all cheap in what he adds to your day. His assistant was also so amazing. She was helpful, polite, and seemed to have great teamwork with not only Nathan but the rest of our vendor team. Everything just flowed so well, and I know he played a huge role in that. As far as we know there were no technical difficulties, but if there were, we had every bit of faith he'd be able to handle it. We had a brunch wedding and at first we were a little disappointed in our guests not being as into the dance floor vibe so early in the day, but Nathan was on point in reading the room and getting our mixed crowd dancing and keeping it that way! His photo booth/guestbook was 100% worth the extra money. It was a HUGE hit throughout our entire reception. And having pictures to go with the guests' signings is such a great way to keep and hold the amazing memories of the day. We highly recommend him for any event. His thoughtfulness and care in the pinpoint details and delivery of it all is unmatched by any DJ I know of!

There was an attendant at the booth the entire night that was incredibly sweet and helpful, and the backdrop was awesome. We even got the opportunity to create our own photo strip design.
