DJ Flash & Flare - Kyle Erickson

DJ Flash and Flare, or Kyle, worked our 9/16/2023 outdoor/indoor wedding. Before the big day he was attentive, informative, and had a fair contract. Payment was easy. He reached out to discuss the general flow of our day and to understand our needs. Day off, he showed up early and had everything working and ready to go. He started music as the guests showed up without being asked as we were taking pre-ceremony photos and when the ceremony started, it went off without a hitch. The bride/groom/officiant shared a single mic that picked up everything without needing to pass it around. His equipment was exactly what you would want. Throughout the remainder of the evening, he keep the music appropriate and on point, he moved a speaker and mic to a different area for speeches while the venue changed the dining area into a dancing area, and then kept our dance party going until the venue shut us down. Nothing but compliments about his choice in music from all of the guests. I highly recommend DJ Flash and Flare for any wedding or corporate event. The combination of reliability and fun make him perfect for an ever changing event like a wedding. 5 stars, all the thumbs up, how ever you prefer to rate. Look no further than DJ Flash and Flare.

We hired Kyle for our 10 year anniversary party and would easily hire him again for any other event we have in mind. He was so easy to coordinate with, he was open to suggestions/ideas on what to play and when. Had all his own professional gear and I really trusted him throughout the night of the event. I really appreciate his patience, kindness, huge smile, and of course his very skilled DJ abilities. His ability to read the room and adjust, his eclectic taste, and his positive energy was so key in making the event memorable.

We had an incredible experience with Flare as our DJ! Our whole family came from out of state for a beautiful Moab wedding. Everything was going smooth all day! Ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner...... then...... when it was time for our first dances..... an ominous thunderstorm started rolling in. We were ready to call it quits and move inside but Flare insisted we keep the party going outside! Our family and friends danced for hours with lightning and thunder as our backdrop! Somehow Flare kept all his gear dry and the dance floor pumping at the same time!! Kyle, Thank you so much! It was a dance party we will never forget!!

Flash & Flare did such a great job DJ-ing our wedding! He is prompt and extremely easy to work with. He matched the genre of our must play songs and the music was ON POINT all night! I highly recommend booking him for any event!

Everyone wants their guests to have the best time at their wedding, and….maybe arguably, what’s up there with the actual ceremony is the food and MUSIC! Get this guy to DJ your wedding if you want endless compliments about your reception. We gave him a few songs we wanted to hear, then his worldly knowledge takes it from there and it is a PARTY! I can’t tell you how many times I heard about “how awesome this DJ is!!” My wife’s 99 year old grandma stayed THE WHOLE TIME, like until lateeee, and I attribute a lot of that to the excellent tunes of Mr. Flare. BOOK HIM NOW!

Few people realize how crucial a great DJ is to a big event like a wedding, It can really elevate the whole experience for everyone involved. My wife and I have known Kyle for quite some time and have seen him DJ a number of other weddings for friends of ours. Every wedding he has DJed has been an all out blast, he is professional, knows how to read a crowd, and plays all the right tracks to really bring an amazing vibe. When it came time for our own wedding, we knew there was nobody else we would rather have DJ it than Kyle. Prior to the big day he worked with us on track selection that fit our style, and he has such a large musical repertoire that once he knew what we liked, he could fill in and do what he does best, and that is rock a party. I can't say enough good things about our experience having Kyle DJ our wedding. If you're are looking for the best of the best, look no further.

Kyle is truly da best. He’s proactive about getting info on your musical preferences (he can do it all), contacting the venue directly to coordinate and taking that off my plate, and managing drunk people and their song requests. 10/10 will use him again next time I get married. In all seriousness hire him, he’s a blast!

Kyle is the best DJ for any event you're hosting, especially if you want your guests to dance their pants off at your wedding. He incorporated all our song requests, brought the equipment, and most importantly got everyone young and old on the dance floor.

Kyle was absolutely wonderful as DJ for my daughter's wedding in September. He worked with the bride and groom to make sure he played all their favorites and he orchestrated the "official" dances perfectly. DJ Flash & Flare added the fun and festivity to the end of a very long, love-filled day and I'd totally recommend him for your future wedding...or any event that needs his added flash!

Kyle crushed it at our wedding. I sent over a playlist on Spotify and he had the hits playing all night. His timing with the ceremony and the reception was perfect. We wanted a DJ who fit our style and DJ Flash & Flare was the perfect fit! He is so easy to work with and will make your big day effortless and special!

DJ Flash & Flare is the absolute best DJ out there for any event. Flare was our DJ during our dinner and reception. He provided his sound system and microphones for the night. He has always been my favorite DJ in the city and so I automatically thought of him for our wedding. All of our guests had a blast and our favorite part of the wedding was the dancing, all thanks to DJ Flash & Flare!! I would HIGHLY recommend him, you will not be disappointed!

Kyle Erickson, aka DJ Flare, was our wedding DJ and he did an awesome job! He was in charge of music during the ceremony, the cocktail hour, and the reception and played a wide variety of music to match each event. There wasn't one person sitting by the end of the night.
