I am a student of the wide variety of musical genres that people throughout the DMV, PA, and beyond have grown up loving. Often you see genres in my sets include pop remixes and mashups, dance club hits, electronic remixes (house, deep house, progressive house, afrohouse), as well as disco, funk, afrobeat, dancehall, etc. Also being a father of 4 pre-teen kids, I am well experienced in teen and pre-teen genres as well.
I am dedicated to your event and am very cost effective because I am a single person establishment. I can provide references upon request. I also am an excellent speaker and can engage a crowd where required. Lighting options available as well including passive and active dancefloor varieties and uplighting to cover multiple rooms simultaneously, dance on a cloud, pinspot lighting, etc. Please also note I am fully insured and am certified for safety with minors via Virtus certification with the Archdiocese of Baltimore.

He also accommodated a personal request I asked of him, which really makes you feel valued as a client to know that he was willing to go above and beyond to make your day memorable. When it comes to his actual wedding DJ’ing skills, I think you would be very hard-pressed to find anyone who understands music better than him. He nailed the vibe of the wedding perfectly and had everyone dancing the whole night. Multiple guests remarked on how great his song choices were, and he managed to integrate on-the-fly requests from guests like a pro. He’s also just a genuinely nice guy. The reception playlist was perfect, he kept guests on the dance floor the entire time and ending the night on Bohemia Rhapsody was the perfect song to close out the night.
There was a hiccup involving a computer reboot during our wedding processional where some of the songs cut out over the bluetooth connection. Matt met with us between the ceremony and reception, apologized for the issue, and explained that his computer decided to spontaneously reboot. Matt handled the situation as best as anyone could have when put in a similar situation.

in the weeks leading up to my wedding and didn’t have the bandwidth to give him a proper song list for the cocktail and reception. I gave him a bunch of genres and decades at the last minute—so basically NO direction — and he did an AMAZING job! Kept the dance floor alive for the last couple hours of the night when we were all ready to crash.
He set up blacklights for us in our cocktail area and worked with our coordinator and wedding party to get folks upstairs for the reception (they had to go in small groups). Everything went very smoothly thanks to him.
We also had a murder mystery reception and he worked with our hostess making sure she had the mic set up she needed and fun music playing throughout.
