DJ Jimmy was fantastic! We had a beautiful destination wedding at the top of the mountain. He came early to set up, was so personable with everyone, and most of all, he delivered!...
He played the music we asked for, and had us dancing all night. He also sent me some videos a few weeks later that he took. Book Jimmy as your DJ! You will be happy you did.

We hired DJ Gimmy Jimmy for our wedding this past Saturday. We had a few hiccups in the beginning that weren’t fully his fault. Our venue person had him move his truck right before...
the ceremony and he wasn’t prepped on it so he didn’t get to play our preludes or any music for grandparents, bridesmaids, or groomsmen. Got to me walking down the aisle just in time. He played pretty good music for the reception and the lights were a cool add but we spoke before about having a request playlist that I had sent him and he said he could definitely use but we only noticed a few songs from it through out the night. Groom and I thought he was nice but my wedding planner said he seemed out of it.
Response from DJ GIMMY JIMMY on 10/16/2022
Hey Alex sorry about any inconvenience my services might have caused, I’m just a little bi...
t confused because this was truly a breach of contract the wedding started earlier then what the contract stated. I believe this wedding was coordinated by a family member (I believe it was the grandmother) she did a good job but she started the wedding 15mins early she didn’t even communicate with me at all. The contract stated the wedding starting times & the wedding end times (5:30p - 10p) she started the wedding at 5:10pm. I couldn’t even get the ordain minister mic’d for the ceremony. I’ve been a professional Dj & doing weddings for over 25years my reviews stay 100% positive. The problem here was the coordinating was unprofessional but the family member tried to do the best job possible for her grand daughter but I feel in these circumstances sometimes we just have to lean on professional wedding coordinators that do the service as a business not to help a family member save money. The wedding coordinator job is a very very important piece to the puzzle so please remember timelines are a must if you want the perfect wedding.

Jimmy was outstanding! Guests consistently referred to it as "the party of the year", "the best wedding they've ever been to", etc. Several guests were asking for his card becaus...
e they wanted him for their own events. The only bad thing about the night was that it had to end.
He showed up early and set up the perfect DJ station that is very clean and wedding appropriate. He helped with several extra things that he was not paid for like providing a microphone for the wedding officiant. His lighting effects were out of this world (lights were set up in several portions of the dance floor and it was so cool looking...and cool in pictures too). Also, we did not have good ideas on songs so told him to play lots of stuff from the 70s, 80s, and 90s and anything else he thought was appropriate. His song list was perfect and he knew how to work the crowd, which included several age groups.
I would highly recommend Jimmy for your wedding or party!!!

every need you may want. He was very punctual and had all of his preparations ready for action once the day of the wedding came around. energy we wanted at the wedding! He definitely takes pride in his work as an entertainer, and his passion for it is awesome and infectious! He is incredibly genuine. He must have congratulated us 100 times and made us feel even better about our day. Played all sorts of music with an excellent system, dope light set, and energy out the roof. Super grateful, and we will definitely be spreading the word. 10/10 would recommend!
