DJ Godzilla

I hired DJ Godzilla (aka Calvin Duncan) for my wedding reception on 9/23/13. He was the best! About a week before I sent him a list of requested songs in addition to a DO NOT play list. He followed every one of my requests! He was super cool about handing over the mic when several people at the wedding wanted to make speeches, etc. He took requests from my guests and kept the music flowing at a good party pace. My guests and I loved him! Highly recommended!

From the moment I decided I wanted to have a DJ at my reception I knew DJ Godzilla was my only choice. I've researched many DJ's in the Vegas area and kept coming back to DJ Godzilla as I felt he was professional who I could communicate with well. Music is really important to my now husband and he had a list of request and DO NOT plays. DJ Godzilla recognized the importance of all this and magically incorporated all the must have songs with the top hits of current. The dance floor was never empty. He also took the time to MC the entire event and adhered to our schedule perfectly. I highly recommend DJ Godzilla, his charm, personality, punctuality and knowledge of the business are above par.

Calvin was Ah-mazing :)...he was great in corresponding with me prior to the wedding. He played just want we had wanted and even with the diverse crowed he had everyone dancing!

I had read many positive reviews about DJ Godzilla, aka Calvin Dunkin. All of the great things they said were spot on. Calvin arrived on time, set up his equipment and the uplighting I had ordered perfectly. He played great music while our guests were waiting and appropriate music over dinner. The reception was one big dance party- he couldn’t have done better! Although I didn’t get to visit with Calvin as much as I’d like to (because I was busy having fun with guests), I could tell he was a very friendly guy. My guests loved him. If I had it to do over again, I would book DJ Godzilla – he is the best bang for your buck!

Book this DJ now. He is a sweetheart and plays really good wedding music. All our guests kept commenting how good the music was.

My husband did most of the set up work with Calvin aka DJ Godzilla and he said it was super simple and easy to work with. We had an in suite reception at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas and gave Calvin a heads up about keep the volume in check which he totally did! We did end up getting shut down cause of the noise but that had nothing to co with DJ Godzilla more so the Cosmopolitan and their stuck up staff and guests lol but i digress. DJ Godzilla was priced just right for our very moderate budget, he was prompt, professional and alot of fun he mixed on the spot and played to the crowed everyone had a blast! Thank you Calvin!!!

DJ Godzilla (aka Calvin) was amazing!!! So easy and friendly to work with. You can tell he really enjoys what he does. My guests danced all night long and he interacted with us and kept the party going!!! His prices are beyond amazing. Highly recommend, you wont be disappointed!!!

I love him. He took the job at the last minute. He was affordable and had my guest on the floor. He used my playlist as well as added his own stuff in there (same genre) which worked out great. Hes a sweetheart, and very caring and helpful individual

Calvin was the DJ at my wedding and he did a great job! I had many compliments on him after the wedding! I had sent him a list of songs to play and he played most of them off the list! It was a great experience and he definitely kept the party going.

I booked DJ Gozilla a week before my wedding for a few hours. It was very easy he sent me a contract via email and I paid via paypal. Unfortunately, the day before I had to cancel due to a large group of my guest not coming. He was very nice about it and brought us some cds.

I have to say I was very pleased with my experience with DJ Godzilla. From the very start he was great to work with. He was prompt with responses and a GREAT price. He did a wonderful job, and even helped the bellman bring our gifts to the room and refused a tip. We were his 3rd wedding of the day, I am sure he was ready to go home. I want to have another party just to be able to hire him!

We were originally going to have an ipod reception but changed our minds after an afternoon of trying to mix music. We found DJ Godzilla on theknot.com Las Vegas board and he was a dream come true. He responded to all my e-mails and put the husband and I at ease about his DJ style. He kept the party going just as we had hoped. He made the two announcement we requested and that was it. just what we were looking for. His prices were great too!
