DJ Good Cat

We were so pleased with DJ Good Cat (Joaquin), who did an amazing job at our outdoor wedding, indoor reception, and outdoor cocktail hour and dance floor. He was very communicative and clear about what was included with his service (which was a lot and everything you could need!). There were no secret charges - everything was included in his flat rate for the event. He had questionnaires that helped tremendously with the planning process and made sure we had a plan for music throughout the entire day (from 3:30 - 11pm) . Picking songs was something we struggled with, so for our cocktail hour and pre ceremony music we described the atmosphere we wanted and trusted the playlists to him, and he absolutely nailed it. When it came time to dance, the party was on and our guests had a blast. He read the crowd and kept everyone on the dance floor between classic tracks and his own mixes! We were so impressed that he provided all his own mics (including lapel and handheld mics for us and him), speakers, lights, and music for four different spaces from our ceremony to cocktail hour, to our reception, to our dance floor. It was seamless throughout the many transitions, locations, and events. We would highly recommend him for any DJing needs.

We are so glad we hired Joaquin for our wedding! He was easy to communicate with and provided a helpful template for planning our music. All of the song transitions were seamless. He did a great job of reading the room and playing the types of music that our guests were enjoying. He made our wedding so much fun!!

I am so happy we booked DJ Good Cat (aka Joaquin) to DJ our wedding. Leading up to the big day, he was efficient and very organized. Joaquin (DJ Good Cat) was incredible and SO easy to work with! He created custom edits of songs (like shortening our entrance and first dance songs) and provided super helpful recommendations for the timeline and flow of the reception. Joaquin also ensured none of the songs on our "do not play" list were played :) Our wedding happened weeks ago and our guests are STILL complimenting us on the DJ and music choices! We highly recommend working with DJ Good Cat!
