I knew that I would need someone that knew what they were doing. But Johnathan assured me that they had it covered. By the time my wedding was arriving Johnathan assigned Daryan to my wedding, he was so kind and professional. Our 15 min consultation call before the wedding turned into a 30 minute call because I had so many questions and thoughts about what would need to happen day of. But Daryan soothed any doubts I may have had. The music for the ceremony was PERFECT! The timing for everything was spot on, and I couldn't be happier. We had a very short wedding compared to other peoples and by the end of the night we didn't have a ton of people on the dance floor. But Daryan had it covered, he could read the room very well and when we brought out a Heihei plush (from Moana, which is an inside joke between my now husband and I) he switched from the early 2000's music he had been playing right into Disney! It was magical! And as my husband and I were getting ready to leave and I turned to ask if he happened to have the Sailor Moon theme on his play track he didn't miss a beat. It was the best way to end the night. Don't second guess if you need a DJ, go with these guys and ask for Daryan.

We were informed a couple of days before the wedding that Jonathan wouldn’t be our DJ and that Enoch would be servicing our wedding. He did a great job! I will say that he strayed from our playlist a lot and played songs that I wasn’t a fan of, the groom had to tell him to “next” a few songs. He let us know that he was running out of upbeat, dance songs from our playlist and needed to improvise so we gave him a little direction on what we were looking for in the moment and he did a great job! Enoch also had a great personality and was professional so we enjoyed having him there. I definitely feel that better communication and direction from Jonathan leading up to the event could have prevented us from running out of certain types of songs. My husband and I worked on our playlist for months and the music was very important to us, so the lack of communication really did bother me throughout the wedding planning process.

out, we were super lucky to find DJ Grapevine! Jonathan was very responsive and their pricing was great! We were even able to have a photobooth through them! Their photobooth artist was amazing to work with! Our DJ Elliot made it a night to remember! I've certainly never been on a dance floor all night at a wedding! Every time we tried to take a break, we were running back to the floor. He was also able to help us with the hook ups for my cousin to play violin at the ceremony, as he is a violinist as well. Our only hiccup in the process was some difficulty in communication ahead of the event, however, they were eventually able to get back with us and get all of our questions answered! I can't speak to how the experience would go otherwise, but we provided very specific instructions, timelines, and even playlists - which is exactly what we wanted to be able to do, and Elliot was totally on point with making sure all our special moments happened and keeping the dance floor going for hours!

ng day, our guests were dancing all night and we had the best time. I give this 4 stars instead of 5 because when the DJ introduced my husband and I for the first time, he announced my name wrong, using an similar but incorrect name. They also had a few mic issues during the ceremony. This was disappointing but the DJ was apologetic and after alerting Jonathan he was also very apologetic and remedied the situation for us. Overall I think for the price point, I would recommend Jonathan to others.

ur praise ends. Our first dance cut out many times, and the traditional dance we requested played for about 30 seconds until it cut out and never came back on. The MC aspect of our DJ was lackluster, many guests mentioned this later on. Finally, I prepared hours of music I would've loved to have heard, but maybe only heard 10-15 of these. The others were songs we did not choose when we were under the impression from our initial meeting that they would be playing mostly songs from the extensive list we provided. Transitions between songs were awkward. It felt like songs were played in a weird order; an example is two Bruno Mars songs played back-to-back, same with ABBA too. Our guests still danced the night away and it was not a total bust, but this was definitely the most disappointing aspect of our wedding. That is, especially considering it was one of the most important parts to us and it was not necessarily cheap. We found ourselves wondering if we could have done a better job renting speakers and hooking up the playlist we made in the first place. It was also very awkward when we selected no father-daughter/mother-son dances yet, when one was requested, the DJ obliged. I wish that wasn't something I had to worry about being pressured into on the day-of, and hope they consider these kinds of situations in the future.
