ld cancel the vocals on the bride's entrance song and he advised me that he could. I also asked for our first dance to be 2 particular songs cut in half and I sent them to him in a playlist as he encouraged us to do so in the contract he provided. I did not notice until watching videos of my wife walking down the aisle after the event that Ivan did not cut the vocals to the entrance song which has dirty lyrics. During our cocktail hour Ivan did not have music playing for approximately 30 minutes. I asked our wedding planner if there was an issue and she stated that Ivan was looking for the playlist. Approximately 2 hours after his initial errors it was then time for the grand entrance for the parents along with bride and groom. Ivan went over the songs with us minutes before the entrance and he did not have the 2 songs we requested ready. He stated to me that he only had 1 song ready and that if I wanted the 2nd song I would need to sign on to my Spotify account on his computer. I told Ivan I didn't have time to do that nor did I have my password handy and he told me he could find it on YouTube. The wedding planner asked him why he was barely bringing the song issue to our attention and he rudely stated to her that the song order was her job, even though I personally went over the order with him via phone. Ivan stated he would fix it and he then went into the dance room with the wedding planner. The planner returned to us moments before making our grand entrance and stated to us that she logged into her Spotify account and the issue was resolved. Ivan then started the grand entrance and gave the wrong first and last name for the bride's mother. The first song began and after a short time the second song began and the wrong song was playing. Ivan used the same song the bride walked out to for our first dance song after he was given a playlist and was briefed 4 different times via text, email, phone, and moments prior to the grand entrance. 1 hour after the entrance disaster, our wedding planner advised it was time for the dollar dance. My wife and I then took the dance floor along with a handful of guests who were ready for the dance and Ivan began playing the first dance song. Not only was he still playing a cover of the song, the first dance had already been ruined and it was a completely inappropriate moment to play the song. Ivan had the audacity to announce, "porque la regue", meaning because he messed up, on his microphone as he started the song. I then asked our wedding planner to have him stop and continue on with the dollar dance music. Ivan did not use the music we requested until the last hour of our event, granted a couple of songs we provided him were scattered throughout his own selections. Ivan was booked for 8 hours at $2,500. His behavior was completely unacceptable and is the most unprofessional DJ I have ever come across. Ivan was handed everything he needed regarding music as he had requested. I highly recommend anyone look elsewhere for a DJ.
