The best moments are when everyone is dancing, singing along, and having the time of their lives. As a DJ, I create those legendary moments for you and your guests.
I moved to California and picked up a part-time job at a DJ management company to earn extra cash. I fell in love with the business. I worked in the warehouse, handling bookings and training DJs, and, of course, I would spend my weekends DJing myself! Now, I run my own company and love every second of it!
While DJing, I love seeing those moments—the moments when a dance floor erupts to the hottest new song or when a group of friends shouts along to an old favorite. I'm all about playing the songs that work for the group in front of me, and I would love to have the chance to bring the beats to your big day.

anted, I was drunk by the time he was playing music 😂 but I remember having lots of fun and commenting on how I enjoyed the music as well as his emceeing skills.
From our friends' recommendations and experience as a wedding guest, we decided to have Jack MC/DJ our wedding.
Pre-wedding: Jack has a robust list of song recommendations that went well for different parts of a wedding, suitable for all backgrounds/music tastes. If we didn't have a song in mind (processional, recessional, first dance, mother-son dance, etc...), we referred to his list. He has great attention to detail and you can tell he is well-versed and can point out things you'd never even think of. For example, he made sure he pronounced our families' names correctly.
He took his time to explain what are typical things to expect and for us to consider as a couple. He was also very flexible in helping us find specific songs that we wanted for certain parts of the wedding. He's super patient/understanding when we couldn't decide on some songs for key moments until 2 weeks before the wedding!
Jack did his due diligence and went to the venue that he's never been at beforehand to double check the area and reached out to communicate with the venue so things would go smoothly. This is of course, expected, but so many things can go wrong at a wedding (from hardware issues to logistics) and we just felt in good hands as he communicated with us as necessary.
During wedding: As expected, he was a great MC. Everything was well-timed and music changes were on point from walking down the aisle to the dance floor. He was great at hyping up our bridal/groom party and us for our grand entrance. It felt like a coach firing up his players for the championship game. He's also great at doing games. We did the shoe game and it was a perfect mixture of easy, hilarious, and heart-warming questions that he had ready. After dinner, people went over to the dance floor and the energy was immaculate.
Tips for soon to be newly-weds:
-Reach out to Jack early once you confirm the venue date! Our wedding was November 1, 2025 and we finalized everything with him in February 2025. Earlier is better.
-If you're not sure what songs you want to play for certain moments, be vocal about it and he'll be happy to give you recommendations!
-Make a list of unique activities/announcements you want Jack to make for your guests! There were one or two things we totally forgot to ask Jack to announce even when he double checked with us (for example, letting guests be aware they can record a video message with an Insta360 Cam we had during cocktail hour/reception). To no fault of his, we got overwhelmed with planning, so we overlooked considering that. If you have unique activities/things planned for your guests that are outside of typical wedding announcements (shout-out to families, cake cutting, etc...), then it'll help him and your guests very much.
-If your guests are the rowdy type and you want them seated during key moments like games, first dance, etc..., you can ask Jack to announce that the bar will temporarily be closed. He'd be happy to do that or work with your coordinator to do so.
-Make sure you have a consistent timeline of events between your planner, day-of-coordinator, and Jack. This is non-negotiable.

I had such a hard time picking out particular songs and Jack was so patient, gave me such wonderful suggestions and made it so easy and our wedding such a smooth process. Jack's music selection was fantastic and he really knew how to get the crowd on their feet and dancing. He seamlessly transitioned between songs and made sure that the music matched the mood and energy of the room. As an MC, Jack was fantastic. He kept the flow of the reception moving smoothly and made sure to keep everyone informed and engaged. He had a great sense of humor and was able to make announcements and introductions in a way that was both professional and entertaining.

We had the privilege of meeting and seeing DJ Jack perform at a wedding back in 2018. Nearly 3 years later and we knew he was our DJ. You could only imagine our elation when we reached out to him and he was available for our day! Jack is a warm and inviting person. It wasn't but moments after speaking with him that we were laughing and felt like we were hanging out with an old friend. His ability to read a room and adjust the song selection or style is matched by none and his skill in blending different eras and genres were near seamless. He was able to keep a room full of people aged 10-92 dancing, reminiscing, and engaged the whole night through which is exactly what we wanted.
A DJ can make or break an event. In a world where everyday is chock full of decisions both big and small, finding that perfect DJ can be the most difficult especially when you don't get to see or hear their work so you have to rely on word of mouth or reviews such as this. He pumped up our wedding party before we made our entrances to the reception. nning and prep work we did on Zoom calls ahead of the big day to making sure our ceremony music/mic was perfect and audible, he did a flawless job. Jack even spent extra time pumping up the wedding party prior to the grand entrance and then did something after the grand entrance that everyone thought was so unique and SO FUN to kick off the night that MULTIPLE guests commented on to tell us how fun and unique it was! He listened to my and my partner's wants for song selections which was a challenge because we have opposite taste in music. Meeting with him was super personal even through the pandemic. On the day of the event, he showed up on time and really brought the energy. His MC'ing was great and he kept all the events flowing on time. I'm so thankful that he is flexible and was able to go with the flow when my brother decided to play guitar for the ceremony the morning of the wedding. That could have been a big deal, but he worked with my brother and helped me have the most beautiful ceremony anyone could ask for.

Need a DJ for the ceremony and cocktail hour in addition to the reception? No problem. Are your ceremony and cocktail hour in one area and the reception in another meaning the DJ will need to bring two set-ups or move mid event? No problem. That's included. Did you pick an obscure first dance song that your DJ will have to download pre-wedding? Not to worry. You won't be getting an invoice for $1.75. It might just be because I'm a millennial but I really appreciated that approach. More importantly, Jack was super on top of things, had three meetings with us to be sure he knew exactly what we wanted and didn't want in terms of music, shared some amazing playlists with us to help us select songs for all the big moments, and is clearly super comfortable being in front of crowds and handling all those pesky announcements that need to be made during the wedding. Finally, we got COUNTLESS compliments from guests about how much they loved him. The dance floor was packed all night and Jack is phenomenal at reading the room and picking the perfect next jam to keep people on their feet. If you need a DJ for ANY event, let me strongly recommend you consider Jack - you won't regret it!

However, with Jack, it was clear from the very beginning, he was most interested in getting to know us as a couple, our style, our interests in order to create a flow throughout the evening of music that felt authentic to us. He seamlessly incorporated our "special songs", read our guests and their responses to the different styles played, and adjusted accordingly. He was constantly working throughout the night, highly engaged and extremely perceptive/ in tune to us and our guests. Jack was also willing to adapt to making the night be what we wanted (even if it meant cutting out a lot of the more traditional pieces). Not only did my husband and I walk away saying we loved Jack's work, but our families and countless wedding guests also commented that this was the best music atmosphere they have ever experienced at a wedding. That's because Jack truly puts in the preparation and hard work and is just overall extremely connected to what he is doing and why he is doing it. All of the feedback I have gotten from people is that we had one of the most fun weddings that they have ever been to, and so much of that is because of the energy that Jack brought to the night. He was incredibly easy to work with, was super great at taking our requests, and knowing what we wanted to hear the night of even without us telling him! If he recommends opening up the dance floor right after the grand entrance and getting everyone out of their seats to come dance with you, do it!
