Jacob helped make our wedding unforgettable. From our first phone call, we knew that Jacob brings a special passion and kindness to his work. And he did just that for us on our wedding day. It's like he just swept in and made everything (and everyone!) sing. He created the perfect flow to our wedding reception--there wasn't a misstep. Our guests were on the dance floor for 6 hours (!!) and loved every minute of it. We had SO many compliments from our guests after the wedding that we had the BEST DJ and we feel the same. :) Jacob provided so much value and so many great memories and we couldn't recommend him more.

I cannot describe how genuinely warm and wonderful Jacob and Courtney are - Such a pleasure to work with! Our wedding was on private property in the woods - Jacob brought the entire environment to life with his gorgeous lighting. We had a wedding full of people of different ages and varying tastes in music. My challenge to Jacob was to read the crowd - Keep everyone on the dance floor. Did he EVER! Grandparents, friends, EVERYONE was having a ball. Perfect soundtrack to the perfect night.

Jacob and Courtney were wonderful. Our daughter and her now husband worked with them on all the plans leading to the wedding reception. As the parents who were not involved along the way in that area (just wrote the checks!) , we were bowled over by the awesome "look and feel and SOUND" provided by DJ Jacob Co. The lighting was wonderful and the transition of music from Motown over dinner to hip hop dance all night long was perfection. The surprise "extra" during Katy Perry's Firework was spectacular. Everyone had a ball. The spontaneous circle of love that occurred during the final song was epic, and Jacob's recommendation for the newlywed's final dance was magical. 5 stars!

Your special day is finally here, a few hiccups sure but the photos have been taken, your vows were exchanged and you are now happily married. Your guests have eaten and are enjoying themselves, it's all about to wrap up and then out of nowhere the music just comes to a dead STOP. The mic is flipped on and the DJ proclaims "nothing is wrong, but some lady just cursed me out so I'm going to wait until you figure this out!" Wait what? Is this really happening? Indeed, apparently one of the bridesmaids was requesting a song, didn't like the response and words were exchanged. Ok well not exactly something a professional entertainer hasn't dealt with before so surely his experience will allow him to choose one of the infinite appropriate responses. I mean he wouldn't just... YES. HE. DID. The wedding has now been taken hostage while dismayed parents, siblings, friends and eventually the actual bride and groom had to plead with him to turn the music back on. Some yelled at him some just cried, I chose to keep back, cringing, embarrassed then plain angry. I didn’t want to escalate this man's clear lack of judgement which has allowed him to essentially throw a temper tantrum in front of an entire wedding party. After an eternal five minutes, he eventually and reluctantly turned the music back on. Now, I ask you, is there ANYTHING in the world, ANYTHING, the bridesmaid could have said that would warrant the unprofessional, inconsiderate and reckless response I’ve described? Because that will be his defense, she said mean things to me, my feelings were hurt so by God I am going to ruin this wedding and leave an indelible memory of myself behaving like a child. The spectacularly poor judgment on display here is universally disqualifying for anyone in this profession. I should note, prior to his meltdown, the DJ’ing itself left something to be desired both technically and musically. I won’t bother getting into the details but I believe it’s called “not feeling the crowd.” Now I don’t know this person and maybe this has never happened and maybe it was his worst day on the job and maybe he’ll never do that again. Sadly, we don’t get to risk giving him a second chance. Will you?

At first he sold us this amazing package made it sound like it was everything we were looking for, but boy were we wrong! First,Dj Jacob decided to create a memory at our wedding.Normally it’s the bride and groom who do this,but nope he beat us to the punch.When your a professional and in the event industry specially a Dj you know you might get cus out a few times and as a professional you should keep your cool and just pull the guest to the side or privately let the bride and groom know what happen so they can take care of it. Well NOPE he decided to take care of it himself turned off the music at our wedding and made an announced that he had just been cursed at and walked away from the booth into the venue (party was outside).I was in complete shock had no idea what was going on for a second I thought it was a technical problem or a surprise was about to happen.Once he came back out my husband and I went up to him to find out what happened when we realized the show and embarrestment that he had just created for us at our wedding.We could not believe it!We were like no way this is not the Dj we hired,this isn’t the Dj that The Knot sponsors or throws wedding of the year parties for! Last but not least, he is a liar!Our last meeting before the wedding he casually asked us who was driving us after the wedding we mentioned we were still working those details out. He then tells us about this new Tesla that he just got & would love to offer it to us as part of our package. All we had to do was take care of the one night for the gentleman driving the car. He travels in his tour bus where he is able to sleep and has a bathroom so his customers don’t need to worry about a hotel for him.Well turns out he decided to bring the family up with him and the hotel room ended up being for them. Which is an expense he could have saved us since it turned out to be him who drove us away after the wedding and not the gentleman that he told us about. We were honestly so disappointment with him and we are yet to hear an apology from him. Let me show you the text message he did send me about the room though. Which we of course took care of even after what he did.

DJ Jacob was phenomenal!! If you are looking for someone who can help create a fun energetic event that your guests will enjoy, look no further. Jacob and Courtney were amazing through our entire wedding process. This duo truly goes above and beyond with the experience they create. Jacob's booth/ equipment was modern and organized, which I really appreciated. Our guest still talk about how much fun they had on our dance floor. I do not recall a moment when the dance floor was not packed! They also did the lighting during our reception and of course it was fantastic. My husband and I are obviously big fans and if we were to have another event we would bring the Towe family back to Alabama. Do yourself and your guest a favor and book DJ Jacob!

Having the perfect music at our wedding was very important to us. We have a lot of dancers and I was marrying into a Spanish family, so we didn’t want the typical cookie cutter wedding where the same songs are played. Jacob was recommended to me by my photographer and I knew we made the right choice the first time we spoke with him and his wife Courtney over the phone. They answered all of our questions without hesitation and gave us the full rundown on how everything would be set up for us. I provided a list of songs that I needed to be played and he did all of them for us. Our wedding was amazing because all of our guests danced! Jacob was so professional (& well dressed) and knew exactly what to do with everything! He even had a beautiful chandelier projected on to the walls which was perfect! Thank you Jacob & Courtney for adding to the best night of our lives!

We can't thank Jacob and Courtney enough for helping us make our wedding the best night of our lives. from the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception and lighting they were a 1 stop shop and super easy to work with!! my step son loved the co2 gun and of course the snow at the end of the night was a super cool touch!! It’s been almost a year since my wedding and one of the most memberable things from it was DJ Jacob Towe and his wife Courtney! We could not be more happy that we chose them to provide the music for our wedding!!! I vehemently believe that music makes or breaks an event - and it definely made it! Before the wedding we talked about what kind of music I liked as well as the vibe I was going for, Jacob and Courtney both understood my vision right away. When my wedding came they played my list of song requests, including Arabic music requests, and really made my vision come to life! They turned the wedding out and we still get compliments to this day about how good the music was and how it was a non -stop party! Not only was I beyond satisfied with the music and they’re services, Jacob and Courtney were so easy to get along with and so easy to work with. I would definely recommend hiring them for your wedding! Love, love, love!

I cannot say enough great things about Jacob and Courtney Towe. Jacob is so much more than just a DJ. He really cared about how smoothly the day went just as much as I did! He even helped me coordinate some aspects of the ceremony so that everything went smoothly. He did an amazing job on both the music and the lighting to really give the reception an entire different ambiance that I could've never imagined! Him and Courtney were also very responsive throughout the year to all my emails and phone calls. Great team to work with. I would highly recommend them to any bride to be.

Wow! We could not have been happier with the music selections, lighting, projections, and surprises that made our wedding night so amazing! Jacob and Courtney were wonderful from the start. They truly love what they do and it shows greatly! He genuinely cared about our vision for our wedding and was the truest professional. My husband is still talking about the music and how the guests did not want to leave the dance floor! The C02 cannon was the coolest surprise! It was amazing and FUN while still being classy and our guests loved it! Trust that they know what they are doing & want your special night to be unforgettable and you will not be disappointed!

Jacob did both our ceremony and wedding and it could not have been more perfect. My now husband and I have rather opposing music taste and he did a great job of mashing the two together so that both groups of friends were dancing all night. He also did a fantastic job with the lighting. We changed our first dance song several times during the week before the wedding and Jacob was very accommodating with all the changes. Could not have asked for a better night!

Jacob and Courtney are the perfect team for any event, but we were SO lucky to have them on our wedding day! The set up was amazing, the music was perfect, and the dance floor was completely full ALL. NIGHT. LONG. We left a lot of the decisions up to Jacob because we trusted him and he was so easy to talk to about our overall vibe for the wedding. He helped create the most memorable moments of the night and is incredibly talented. We never even considered any other DJ once we found Jacob. Thanks for everything!

I want to start by saying Jacob and Courtney are more than just wedding DJs. They are in this industry for more than just a paycheck. You can tell they truly love what they do. Other weddings ive been to the DJ really just plays music. With this team, they bring the wedding to life. They infuse their personality and vast experience with what you want your wedding to look, sound, and feel like. If you have an idea, they will take it and grow it into something you never thought could happen. From the first time my wife and I met them they blew us out of the water. They took the time to not just figure out what we wanted with our wedding, but to figure out who we are as a couple and individuals. Once they connect with you and figure out your general ideas they tailor their concepts to fit in with your thought process. If you don’t like an idea they have, no hard feelings, they move onto the next. The final product was amazing. They keep the night/day about the couple. Whatever you want, they will do. If you are considering a DJ for your event/wedding and Jacob and Courtney are available, 100% take the time to meet with them. You will not regret it. Without them, our wedding would not have been the same.

DJ Jacob Towe & his wife Courtney are one of a kind! My husband and I recently got married and used this dynamic duo to DJ our wedding and we could not be more happy or grateful that we did! From Day 1 of meeting Jacob and discussing our vision and expectations of our special day to Wedding Day was just perfect. He takes your ideas and your vision and makes it come to life. We were lucky enough to have our wedding planner recommend him and we are lucky that he was available! Throughout the whole wedding process, any music/ceremony/lighting/projection question I had was answered promptly and accurately. Wedding day went above and beyond any expectation we could have had. We went into our day with the motto "Best Day Ever" and boy was it! DJ Jacob lit up our reception beautifully and kept the party going all night long. We still have friends tell us how much fun our wedding was and that's a huge compliment to DJ Jacob and Courtney. Not only did we have an awesome wedding DJ but we gained friends in Courtney & Jacob. We HIGHLY recommend DJ Jacob Towe for any event that even pops up in your head and we can't wait to have a vow renewal and do this party all over again! DJ Jacob Towe was fantastic! We got together several times to discuss my wedding reception and the part the DJ would have on this very special day. Jacob and his wife are very professional and I felt at ease and confident that my reception would be wonderful. It was THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!

As mother-of-the-bride for a Summer 2015 wedding, Mr. Towe was the one vendor about whom I had zero concerns...a fact that I communicated to him when I saw him around noon on the day of the wedding as he was setting up. Even then, the lighting and sounds just seemed over-the-top great. I should have been concerned. The issues revolve around Mr. Towe's seeming inability to adapt to the needs of a specific crowd and event. For starters, this was a 30's and 40's themed event....but the "period music" requested for the dinner hour was so muted that it was barely audible by the guests....thus contributing nothing to the mood and theme. In addition, I had submitted a play request list to Mr. Towe well in advance - WEEKS - before the wedding. As the one who was, in the final analysis, paying for Mr. Towe's services, I was astounded that exactly one - ONE - my requests was actually played....the rest, he said, "were played when you were outside." He even laughed when addressing my concern about this being the one chance to honor some absent family members by playing music special to them....with present family members able to dance to those special songs. Didn't happen....the event is over....here were no apologies. In addition, the mother-son moment was essentially a disaster for the groom and his mother, thanks to the lack of planning by Mr. Towe. I get the feeling that Mr. Towe was in over his head with our reception. DJ Jacob gets some rave reviews here, so clearly his style appeals to many. Reflecting on our event, however, Mr. Towe appears to function best when he is allowed to call all of the shots himself.....when he can be in charge of everything....because his responsiveness to the requests at our event left much to be desired. He made no effort to keep the lines of communication open during the evening....he obviously had decided in advance how the event was going to go....with little-to-no consideration taken to the clients and their guests.

Music was the most important thing to me when planning our wedding day. We gave DJ Jacob Towe a huge order, asking him to make our wedding a blast for us and our guests while playing as much Dave Matthews Band as possible. He did an amazing job keeping the party going! The most amazing part was the environmental projection. It was beyond me as my husband and I were dancing our first dance while we were surround by a projection of Dave singing our song! Our guests loved it and were blown away. He went above and beyond everything we asked for with so many little details to make our night unforgettable. He takes everything to the next level. The music, projection and lighting he provided were all top notch!

I've seen and been in my fair share of weddings and I am very happy that the best DJ anyone can find was the DJ for our wedding, DJ Jacob! Jacob was extremely thorough and covered every detail of the wedding and what needed to happen. He was also very accommodating and able to meet us anytime, anywhere we wanted, as many times as we wanted. His professionalism and passion for his work is so astounding that there was never any question as to if he was the right DJ for our wedding! Jacob stays at the forefront of modern technology so as to provide his clients with unprecedented quality and clarity in sound and light. His use of his wireless up-lighting really transformed our venue into the perfectly romantic setting for our reception. We aren't the only ones who were impressed, we received raving reviews from our guests on the quality of his sound as well! I have two words for you Jacob: Top Notch.

Our wedding would simply have not been as fun or successful without Jacob and his wife! From the very beginning he was nothing but professional and extremely impressive, no other DJ has the kind of equipment or expertise quite like Jacob. He and his wife went over and beyond, like even moving flowers during cocktail hour from the ceremony to reception site! Hands down, Jacob was THE best investment of our wedding day!

Jacob is great at what he does and incredibly personable. I feel like we could be friends. We had a great experience with him all the way through. His website is organized and helpful and we spent hours upon hours planning our music. I thought we were on the same page (and we were, for the most part) but there were definitely some selections on the wedding night that were not on theme, which was very particular. This did irritate me, especially after an otherwise very positive experience. Overall, he is a unique DJ that stands out in a sea of cliches and I would pick him again for sure.

Jacob took care of the music throughout our entire wedding (ceremony, cocktail hour and reception) and it was AMAZING! He was great and so much fun to work with. His website makes the process so easy and stress free! Our wedding day was flawless and a lot of it was thanks to Jacob! We never had to worry about sound or music throughout the entire night. Everybody had such a good time! Thank you Jacob! You are absolutely amazing!
