DJ Jamaal

Jamaal was really easy to work with and our dance floor was packed throughout the reception. He helped us develop a timeline for the reception, played all of our special requests, and kept the party flowing. Our only disappointment was that the party had to end!!!

Jamaal from World Renown Entertainment is the best! Music is a very important part of the reception and he made the reception so wonderful. Everyone raved about the music. Jamaal is a very skilled DJ and I would recommend him to all of my friends who have yet to be married. He is also very responsive to emails and phone calls. He listened to all of my ideas and executed everything that I wanted with style.

Where do I begin... As the groom, my two biggest responsibilities were showing up on time the day of our wedding and booking the music for our reception. This was not as easy as it sounds given we were coming in from NYC and trying to find a local DJ. In these days and times everyone with a laptop and a loudspeaker has crowned themselves "DJ's" but those who know (and I know), are aware there's way more to it than button pushing from a playlist. After much searching I came across World Renown Entertainment. From my initial conversation with Jamal, I knew we were headed in the right direction. We had great talks about the eras of music I was looking for, the groove and vibe I wanted for our reception's sound track, and the absolute "needed to hear" records along with the "please don't play the chicken dance" talk. LOL... But talking is only one part of the preparation, there's the delivery. As a self professed "hip-hop purist" with a long and deep knowledge from classic jazz, R&B, etc. I was BLOWN AWAY by Mike from World Renown's delivery. Kept the party going for hours, just the right amount of MCing, and most of all set the vibe & groove we wanted and needed. Baltimore/DC area... Trust in these guys. They got the goods.
