less amount of music and array of genres my husband and I wanted to play. But Jawk quickly showed us we had no reason to be nervous. I gave Jawk a list of must play songs and a rough idea of what we were looking for and he absolutely knocked it out of the park. My husband and I are huge nerds and on top the typical dance music you expect to hear at a wedding, we wanted a large mix of video game, anime, and film scores incorporated. Jawk easily accommodated our unique song choices during both the calmer parts of wedding, i.e. dinner & cocktail hour, and during the dancing portion. I was very happy to hear our oddball requests of “Live & Learn” and “Death by Glamour” mixed along with typical wedding crowd pleasers during the reception. Not only were our songs played, they were mixed perfectly for everyone, nerd or not, to enjoy and dance to. This was no shuffle between random disconnected genres, but instead music was seamlessly mixed and transitioned between. Our guests danced the night away and everyone I reminisce with brings up the music as one of our TOP highlights. (And we got married at a zoo, there’s a lot to chose for a highlight, lol!) Outside of the music mixing, Jawk was also able to accommodate our 3 areas that we wanted music played. He was also professional, communicative, and very passionate in making sure the crowd, and my husband and I, was enjoying ourselves. Whether you want a traditional wedding or something a little more unique, Jawk’s got you covered! My husband and I 100000% recommend.

For my birthday party, he seamlessly mixed music across all genres and age groups and even did an awesome kids music set so everyone felt included. The transitions were smooth, the energy was perfect, and the playlist kept people engaged all night. His pricing is very reasonable, especially considering the quality, professionalism, and versatility he brings. It’s rare to find someone who can handle both a large school event and a milestone birthday with equal skill. Moving forward, he will be our go-to DJ for all parties and events. Highly recommend without hesitation! PS He also had light sticks for the kids to dance with and he provided his own microphone and speakers. Awesome!

asked for: a fun, playful party vibe that kept everyone dancing. I was fairly specific about our music selections, and Jonny did an amazing job listening and blending all of our different preferences into a seamless soundtrack for the weekend. Our guests had nothing but positive things to say. One moment that stood out was when a special family-tradition song played. Our guests were clearly loving it, and instead of simply replaying the track, Jonny mixed a fresh version on the spot to keep the energy high without breaking the flow. It was incredibly impressive and kept the dance floor packed. He also handled song requests with professionalism - politely turning down choices that didn’t align with our vision while keeping the overall vibe exactly where we wanted it. Throughout the night, Jonny prioritized our preferences, read the room perfectly, and made an outstanding impression on our guests. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ!
