We highly recommend choosing Jerry for your wedding or event! He was fantastic to work with from the very start of the planning process and consistently offered guidance, expertise, and support. He was also incredibly thoughtful in working with our other vendors to ensure everything ran smoothly on our wedding day. We really felt listened to from the beginning, and trusted that Jerry was there for us to ensure our vision came to light, which it absolutely did! My wife Charlotte and I were lucky to have Jerry DJ our wedding in August of 2023. Everything was absolutely perfect and he exceeded our expectations. When we first met Jerry, he quickly became a friend and trusted advisor. He took all the time we needed to make sure we were comfortable and knew exactly what was needed to make the day as close to perfect as possible. It was clear to us that Jerry takes his work very seriously, and he treats every client like they're the only person he is working with. Most importantly, Jerry and his daughter brought the fun! Our dance floor wasn't empty for a second once Jerry opened it up. The last thing that I will say is that Jerry is great at making people feel comfortable. Like most couples planning a big wedding, we were nervous about the process, especially with so many unknowns. Jerry identified this and did everything that he could to make us feel comfortable. We are forever thankful for that. If you are deciding on a wedding DJ and Jerry is in the mix, do yourself a favor and go with Jerry!

My wife and I had the honor of having DJ Jerry Bazata for our wedding. We were impressed with his preparation, communication, and personality overall. He was honestly amazing. We had 145 guests at our wedding and had at least 50 direct compliments within 24 hours of the wedding based upon Jerry. The effort he placed into the music selection radiated throughout the reception. It was clear that he has a passion for his work and his clients. Jerry communicated with us regularly with understood how important his role was to our wedding. When Jerry told us that he would be attending our rehearsal we were impressed simply for his preparation. When the day came and Jerry arrived, he stood back and listed to our coordinator Lisa. He provided quality suggestions and was an asset to us overall. In closing, if you are torn between DJ's and are reading this review know that I would tell every single person to hire Jerry since you only get one shot to get this right.

Jerry was phenomenal - as a person and as an MC. He was an absolute pleasure to work with. His professionalism was excellent. He is a clear communicator who made the planning process easy, whether he was working with the bride and groom, or other critical family/friends. His professional connections and offers to utilize them were hugely helpful too. Music quality and song selection was great. Plus, Jerry is just a fun guy - perfect person to work with and entrust for your special event. When Jerry was closing up shop for the night of our wedding, the whole dance floor was chanting “JERRY, JERRY, JERRY!”.

Jerry was amazing!! Working with him up until the wedding was super easy. We were planning a destination wedding and he made it easy to schedule time to talk and plan everything. While planning he was telling us about his different back up options to make sure we were covered and you can tell he really cares about his couples and their events. On the day of he killed it!! Everyone was on the dance floor and it was full the entire night! The music was perfect and our guests are still commenting on it! I can’t thank Jerry enough!

We're still hearing from all of our guests at our daughter's wedding how great it was, and Jerry was key. Friendly, happy, easy to work with, Jerry has an awesome DJ voice to boot. He worked with our daughter to make the music the way she wanted - no mean feat - and instantly had everyone packed on the dance floor for the entire night. DJ Jerry is the best! We met him through a friend's wedding and knew he was an amazing DJ that could keep an entire wedding on the dance floor the whole night. DJ Jerry is amazing!! He is extremely reliable and we did not have to worry about a thing regarding music and entertainment at our wedding!! Jerry had been a DJ at our chosen venue in the past and he provided us with extremely helpful information and tips to help the day flow smoothly :) He is thorough with planning; he gathers information about the type of music a couple would like played, and he holds true to the requests. The dance floor was full all evening and family and friends are still talking about how awesome DJ Jerry is :) The morning of the wedding, my sister told me about an idea she learned about where the bride and groom take a photo with the guests at every table. The couple tries to beat the clock and get a photograph with every table before a song is over. My mom relayed this idea to Jerry during cocktail hour, shortly before the reception began. By the time my husband and I entered the tent for the reception, Jerry had already hyped up the guests for the challenge so they could come up with their poses and he chose the perfect song. Start to finish, Jerry is flexible, reliable, fun, responsive, and extremely easy and pleasant to work with. We appreciate him so much!! We cannot recommend him highly enough!! :)

DJ Jerry was (and is) one of our favorite people we worked with for our wedding. His attention to detail made us feel at ease when it came to the music for our ceremony. He had the dance floor packed and our guests still talk about how great he was. We even went to an event where Jerry was performing a few weeks after our wedding and we plan on going to many more.

We are writing this LONG overdue review for Jerry because we have been running on a high since our wedding in July 2021. We went through wedding postponements due to COVID and then through an unreliable DJ who took our money and then disappeared. We put out some feelers online and heard back from Jerry within 24 hours. He engaged with us with a felt sense of genuine interest in what we had experienced and what we wanted for our wedding reception, as well as confidence in his ability to meet our expectations. Well, he exceeded our expectations. In addition to keeping everyone dancing, having a great time, and ensuring the timing of everything was perfect, he also brought safety to us as he didn’t skip a beat when it came to our wedding being a “same sex marriage.” In meeting with numerous vendors in the planning process, we can say this wasn’t true for everyone that we met with. This unpredictability around how vendors we reached out to would respond naturally created some anxiety for us at times. From the first call, Jerry created a safe space that allowed us to move forward with no doubt. We had an incredible wedding in Maine 4th of July weekend with Jerry being a huge part of what made it so great. His daughter was an awesome sidekick as well! If we had to do it again, we’d choose Jerry! You should too!

Our wedding planner reached out to Jerry because the wedding was taking place in his home town and he agreed to be the DJ. This was a destination wedding of 30 people and we had little knowledge of the services and the area. Jerry was fantastic to work with, so personable, understood the vibe we were going for. On top of that, being that it was Jerry's hometown and he knew personally everyone, he was invaluable in little things that could've become huge problems. He worked with the resort ensuring ceremony was all set and we didn't have to worry about a thing, he suggested who to contact for our guest transportation (which we did), and he worked with the reception site restaurant as he knew the owner and management. In addition, we needed some foreign songs played at the reception. Jerry stayed on FT with us, tried several ways and did find the songs needed, had everything labeled and played what we wanted at the appropriate time. He kept us going with guest feedback that it was the most fun they've had in a long time. Thank you!

Jerry is both an amazing person AND DJ! The planning process was super easy and straightforward and he truly listened to what we wanted while guiding us with fantastic wealth of knowledge. Trust his mashups - they were epic. All of our guests commented on his infectious energy and his fantastic playlist. The dance floor was full the entire night and even people who might not otherwise dance were having themselves a great time. Highly recommend Jerry.

Our experience with Jerry could not have been better. The entire process was extremely smooth, and he is just such a joy to work with. The music selection and timing was incredible - everyone was talking about how wonderful and fun the music and dance party was. He even came up with his own Queen themed encore that was a massive hit (for the Bride’s love of the band, Queen!) When covid forced us to reschedule our first date, Jerry’s kind words were of a huge solace and he was one of the only vendors to be so kind and supportive. Would recommend him 1000%!!!

DJ Jerry did an amazing job at our wedding! He was very professional and met with us several times leading up to the wedding. He also did a site visit in advance (our wedding was at a private residence) to make sure that we were on the same page and that everything was in place for the wedding. He showed up well in advance of our event and everything went very smoothly. DJ Jerry listened carefully to our taste in music and was able to exceed our expectations. It is no easy feat to work in old Italian music, reggaeton, and old school boy bands at one event, but he did such a good job. We could tell that he is really passionate about music. One litmus test is how many people are on the dance floor – ours was full all night! He even played for an extra hour when everyone wanted to continue dancing! We highly recommend DJ Jerry!

Jerry was an absolute gem. Truly. We couldn't have been more pleased with how knowledgeable, professional and considerate he was. He had great ideas and was supportive through every step of the planning process. He coordinated calls and frequent email communications to ensure that he was creating the experience we wanted for our wedding. Jerry was awesome throughout our planning process and quickly put us at ease. We came in hesitant on how to best approach the flow of the reception but from the first phone consultation he gave plenty of direction and ideas to consider. We knew we were in good hands from the start. Jerry's years of experience were apparent right away. Our reception was in a large venue with high ceilings, which can make the acoustics tricky. Jerry informed us he had worked weddings there before and knew the optimal setup and layout for his speakers and equipment. He made great use of the space. In terms of the music itself, Jerry took our list of favorite songs and suggestions to heart and ran with it. He delivered a great mix of both songs we loved and crowd favorites inspired by our playlist. We fully recommend booking Jerry. He truly made our wedding special.

We could not have had a better DJ for our wedding. From the get go, Jerry put us at ease with his knowledge, organization, friendliness, and professionalism. We had selected certain songs to have played and the rest we left up to Jerry - he was able to feel out our taste perfectly from the short list we gave him - as well as feeling out the crowd and certain moments. We had the wonderful pleasure of having DJ Jerry Bazata at our wedding on September 7th 2019, on an island in Maine. He made us feel so comfortable front the start. We had a few different conference calls before our special day. Jerry did such a great job reading the crowd and playing such great music. People were on the dance floor all night. I very much appreciated Jerry's professionalism through the planning process and the event. If you are looking for someone to keep your guests on the dance floor ALL night, then look no further! We had the pleasure of having DJ Jerry at our wedding this summer, and on the day we got married, there was a huge heat wave. We were worried about people being too hot to get on the dance floor, but with DJ Jerry, it was the exact opposite. Our dance floor was packed for the WHOLE night, even though it was close to 100 degrees. I am not even exaggerating when I say that it was the most packed dance floor I have ever seen. People have not stopped talking about our wedding, and it was truly perfect with the help of DJ Jerry. He was so professional, as he emailed and called numerous times to make sure everything was planned out and perfect for the big day. It was so nice having someone like him to help guide us to make the ceremony and reception music beyond amazing!

Working with Jerry was very easy. We planned our wedding from a different state, so that was important. Jerry is very organized, professional, and fun. He makes sure to keep in touch with you throughout the process. Jerry is amazing. Aside from being a lovely person, he is an EXPERT in his field. He put together the perfect ceremony and reception for our wedding. We were outside for the whole night and I was worried about how he sound system etc. would work, but Jerry knew exactly the set up he needed. His expertise in the field is second to none. He was able to take the songs and music themes we had and turned them in to a cohesive playlist. Most important to me is his ability to give directional cues to guests, telling them where to go when/what was going on throughout the night. He is very responsive to any questions or changes in song list you may have, and it was a pleasure to work with him. Thanks so much Jerry!!

DJ Jerry was the perfect fit for us. We wanted someone who could keep both our friends and family on the dance floor, and Jerry delivered a full dance floor all night. I honestly cannot say enough about Jerry as a DJ. Prior to our wedding he was very thorough and attentive to what we wanted from a DJ at our wedding. He is extremely kind and enthusiastic about his work which came across in our first conversation on the phone. The night of our wedding could not have been more fun. Everyone, age 30-85 was on the dance floor the entire night. So many of our guests, my mother, her friends, my bridesmaids, couldn't stop complimenting all his music choices. From beginning to end, our dance floor was packed and it's exactly what we wanted. So many of our guests said how they never wanted to leave the dance floor. Our wedding planner, Pinch Me Planning, told me he was very pteofessional and a great DJ to work with the day of. My husband and I could not be happier with jerry's services and very highly recommend him.

Jerry was exceptional. Of all the djs we called in the area , he was the first one to show passion when he answered our call. After chatting with him for a bit it was very clear he knew his field. Plus he understood the whole process be of the wedding. We needed his services , and at the wedding he became the planner , coordinator and our rock. Once the wedding started and music kicked in, the song choices were spot on, the level of volumn was perfect and he blended right into the background. From the initial conversation to two days prior to the wedding Jerry was easy to work with and accommodating to any last minute changes. Our guests all complimented him on the song selections that kept the party going all night.

I can't compliment Jerry enough for the job he did as the emcee /DJ for our daughter's recent wedding. From the ceremony, to the social hour, dinner, and dancing, his music mix was spot on for each facet of the evening. He has the uncanny ability to be front and center, yet fade into the background at the same time. The only complaint we heard from some of our guests was that they never had a chance to sit and rest. His music was so great that no one could stop dancing! If you are looking for an emcee/DJ for your function, you'd be hard pressed to find someone as amicable, and professional as Jerry. He is truly a master of his craft.

Planning our wedding was extremely difficult and when the day came Jerry and his attention to detail not only saved the day but helped us relax and enjoy it!!! Music was one of--if not THE--most important thing to me. I spent a lot of time gathering songs I love and knew our guests would love to dance to. We met with Jerry and he was very receptive my playlist. He was very helpful with the flow of the reception. My husband and I were doing everything ourselves (no wedding planner) so this was very helpful to us. I can't even count how many people came up to me during and after the wedding to tell me how much they LOVED the music and Jerry! Safe to say we were nervous on our wedding day but having Jerry there was like having another set of eyes on everything making sure everything would run smoothly. It made us feel so much better knowing that our DJ would have everything planned for us and all he wanted was from us was to have the time of our lives. Our crowd loves to have a good time and dance and that's exactly what happened. From the moment he asked everyone to come down to the dance floor till the very end of the night people were dancing. I vaguely remember the crowd shouting "Jerry, Jerry, Jerry" at the end of the night wanting to dance some more. Almost 4 weeks later and we still have friends and family telling us they want to relive that night because of how fun it was and Jerry was a huge part of that. We can't thank him enough and we encourage anyone who may have a chance to have Jerry as their DJ to do so!

DJ Jerry was a true professional throughout the whole wedding process. We leaned on his expertise as a partner for planning, logistical decisions, ceremony sound support, etc. Our wedding had 200 people and by the end of the night DJ Jerry had just about everyone on the dance floor! My husband and I were so happy with the emceeing and DJing services Jerry provided for our June 7, 2015 wedding. Not only were all our interactions - in person, via email or phone - very friendly and relaxed, Jerry was a terrific DJ for our wedding cocktail hour and reception. He played almost all the songs we requested ( I'm sure we chose 6+hrs worth!) and he set the tone of our celebration to just the way we had hoped! As a wedding planner myself, I have seen all kinds of DJs with very distinct personalities that can 'take over' the feel of the reception. Jerry's focus was on my husband and I , making sure we were happy with how things were moving along and that our guests were having an amazing time. He hit it out of the park on both fronts. Our family and friends continue to tell us how much fun our wedding was, how memorable the day was and how thankful they are to have been a part of it. Jerry went above and beyond in all aspects of our wedding entertainment ! From the start he was there to help us with music selection and even editing of some songs for special moments! Our guests were on the dance floor nonstop and even some of our non-traditional requests were met ! The dancing and singing went on all night! Everyone had such a great time! Jerry exceeded any hopes that I could have for the perfect wedding! His professionalism was outstanding and the night went off without a hitch! Who could ask for more!

I highly recommend Jerry. I used him for my wedding recently and he was just incredible to work with. First, he was a great DJ. I gave him a few specific requests, told him a few genres I liked, and he immediately picked up on the vibe was did the rest. Everyone was happy with the music. He also was very helpful with planning. He had a ton of great ideas for our introduction, the venue layout, and the timeline, all of which the groom and I incorporated into our wedding day plan. The groom and I hadn't really thought about our introduction until we spoke with Jerry, but it turned out to be one of the biggest hits of the night and something that everyone will definitely remember. He really helped us add little details here and there that our guests were talking about all night. He was great!

I just want to second my wife's comments from yesterday. What a fine gentleman. We spoke before the ceremony and got acquainted. He was responsive to all our needs and a perfect professional. He even helped my older daughter set up for her toast which included a screen and projector. Everyone had fun and enjoyed the music. Highly recommend him.

Wow! Jerry made our daughter's wedding a great success! Molly and Kevin found Jerry on the Internet and after a few emails they had great confidence that Jerry would be a great fit for their rustic/romantic Maine wedding. He understood what Molly meant when she said "no cheesy wedding music" so that was great . He played all our requests. Jerry was familiar with our venue, he had worked there many times and knew just how and where to set up for the best sound, so that was great too. As parents of the bride we were grateful that there were no worries about anything to do with the music. Everyone was up and dancing all night, and we have Jerry to thank for that!

Jerry DJ'ed at our August 2016 wedding and we couldn't have been happier! He took care of the pre-ceremony, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception music. Everything flowed seamlessly. Jerry made sure all of our "must plays" were played and also kept the dance floor full throughout the reception. After the wedding, everyone told me what a fun wedding it was, and Jerry played a huge role in that! Beyond the music, Jerry was extraordinarily helpful in making sure that everything flowed smoothly. He was able to anticipate the best moment to do the toasts, dances, cake cutting, etc. as well as helping with other last minute things that we needed. I was able to focus only on enjoying the wedding because I knew that Jerry was taking care of the rest, which was such a relief! I would highly recommend Jerry to any bride!

We wish there were more stars to give Jerry. He went above and beyond the call of duty – from tracking the crazy thunderstorm that ripped through during cocktail hour to filling champagne glasses for our best man and maid of honor for their speeches. Jerry does not miss a detail and brought a calming presence to our big day. Now to the music – it was near impossible to end the dancing and that was after adding an extra hour that evening (which Jerry was totally cool with). He kept the dance floor packed and played a great mix of the songs that we sent to him in advance and the songs of his choice (as well as those requested from our guests). Planning the event was seamless, as he took the time to meet with us and have multiple follow-up calls. Again, he is incredibly organized and completely accommodating.
