Jim is a pleasure to work with. He is professional and fun and will tailor your wedding to exactly what you want. We had an initial meeting to go over our thoughts for how we wanted to ceremony and reception to go. He had tons of ideas for music during certain situations or activities during the reception and we got to tailor everything to what we wanted. We could name specific songs and he would build a playlist around them, or just give him a mood or a genre and he would do the rest. Jim needed no guidance or help from us the entire wedding day, which meant we could focus on getting ready and getting married. And it was such a relief to let go during the ceremony and let Jim cover everything. We worked with him to make a pre-set list beforehand of timing and order of activities. Then, day-of, from entrances to parent dances, dinner to dancing, cake cutting to the bouquet toss and more, Jim ran the reception and we just followed along. The pacing was perfect, the music transitions seamless, the reception activities flowed one into another, keeping everyone engaged and partying. He did a great job reading the crowd and choosing songs to keep the energy going. Jim gave us exactly what we wanted and made the day as stress-free as he could.

DJ Jimbo is an excellent choice for your wedding or events. Jim is great to work with and keeps the interests of the couple in mind when planning the big day. He had great suggestions of activities to do during the wedding, kept a good timeline of events, and made excellent music choices throughout the night. We did provide a general theme for our wedding- vintage Thanksgiving, and Jim was able to help curate a playlist that fit our vibe. We selected jazz covers and artists to play throughout cocktail hour and dinner service before turning over to popular hits for dancing the night away. DJ Jimbo has a great DJ voice that is clear and easy to understand. He is also very professional and does not interrupt or talk too much during the event (like some other DJs do). We also selected the uplighting package to add additional ambiance to our reception space. DJ Jimbo has great packages at amazing pricing and I would definitely recommend him to everyone!
