DJ Joe Sheets

From planning to execution, Joe was fantastic to work with. Your DJ can make or break your day. We had an outdoor ceremony and Joe provided a lapel mic for our officiant and a separate mic for our readers. There was a little wind, but our guests could hear our ceremony and our music was cued to start on time. Inside at the reception, speeches were clear, music was ready at the right times and Joe had a phenomenal ability to keep the party going while blending into the background for the special moments of your day. He was incredibly laid back and willing to do whatever we wanted to make our day perfect, but he also has good ideas to keep the day moving and dance floor full. If (when 😉) you book him, share your must have songs and moments, then give him the reins. He’ll keep the dance floor going! On top of being a fantastic DJ, Joe is also a great photographer! He continued taking photos after our professional team left for the evening! We knew Joe would be amazing as did my brothers wedding last year. He was so good and my brother and SIL recommended him so highly that we selected our wedding date based on his availability and he exceeded our expectations!

DJ Joe brought the hype! His communication was spot on and he was the perfect emcee. Works well on the spot if the wedding day schedule needs to be flexed. We provided a playlist of our fav songs but they weren’t played till later in the night. It seemed like it took a hot minute to get people on the dance floor because of the early song choices not being what our guests wanted to dance to, but once they were there it was all good. Overall, he did a great job and we all had a blast on the dance floor!

DJ Joe showed up when the venue opened and was there the entire day. He helped create a special mother/daughter dance while we were getting ready. He was full of energy the entire time, even in the way he walked. His quality of sound and lighting was so good. He appealed to all ages, and the dance floor was full the entire night. DJ Joe Sheets was the life of the party! We felt like he was just another one of our friends partying with us. I actually have a good friend who is a DJ that was attending the wedding that we didn't choose because we wanted him to enjoy his time and he also raved about how good he was. There are is no way to fully express how incredible Joe is and how wonderful he made our wedding day, but I am going to try! First off, Joe makes you feel like you are working with a friend and not just some random DJ. He is so very easy to talk to and answered every question we had right away. DJ, wedding planner, or photographer? DJ Joe Sheets is all 3! He was absolutely the best through the whole process from booking to the day of. He was a huge help with giving very useful tips for the reception and was right in on the fun the whole time. Joe played all the songs we wanted him to and non of the ones we didn't want. He was even on sight setting up before I got there with my groomsmen. He was prepared and professional and everything we could have asked for in our DJ. A few weeks after the wedding we got a flash drive in the mail with photos from the wedding he took on his own camera just for fun! We had a great experience and hope to see him at a wedding we go to in the future.

You’re seriously not going to find a better DJ out there for your wedding! From our very first conversation with him, Joe made it very apparent that he was going to do everything he possibly could to make our big day special. His attention to detail was always impeccable, and he was always available to talk if we had any questions or concerns. From the way he seamlessly navigated our venue and flawlessly set it up, you never would have guessed that he had never worked in that particular venue before. Joe was the absolute business professional in the planning process, and working with him never felt like work. And now on to the best part: on the big day, Joe was the engine that drove us all day. He arrived early, got set up efficiently, and then immediately got to work putting our plan into action. His work in the ceremony was flawless, and the transitions from ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner to dancing flowed so smoothly. He did a great job announcing our dinner and making sure that everything planned happened just the way we wanted. Once it was time to dance, Joe flipped the switch and became the biggest hype man on the floor. If I had a nickel for every time someone told me that the DJ was absolutely killing it, I could retire today at the ripe age of 28. Joe played the exact mix of music we asked for, and he had a blast doing it. A great added bonus is that Joe takes pictures of everyone throughout the dinner and dancing, and he gives you a copy of every picture he takes on a flash drive later on. I think I can speak for all of my guests when I say that everyone had a great time dancing to Joe’s set. At the end of the night, Joe cleaned up and left the place looking better than he found it. All in all, DJ Joe Sheets is the top dog in his industry, and you can’t beat what the guy brings to the table. I would hire Joe for literally any event. Joe is the best DJ that you can get hands down. He has the best energy and always made sure people were on the dance floor. He is kind and easy going. We were above and beyond satisfied and blessed to share our special day with him.

Joe is the absolute best!!! If you want someone who is professional, personable, and FUN he is your guy. I can’t say enough good things about Joe. He was very organized and focused on making sure Tanner and I had a great reception. Bottom line if you want to have a great party hire Joe. You’re reception will be a BLAST!

Hands down the best DJ ever! We looked at a couple different DJs but Joe stood out to us. First off Joe drove all the way to us to meet for our first meeting. Other DJ just did a zoom meeting so to have someone actually care to meet us face to face meant a lot to us. At the first meeting we had Joe was sooo friendly, supportive, patient with us and unique. After meeting with Joe we knew he was the one we wanted to DJ our wedding. We had 2-3 meeting with him to go over everything we needed for our big day. Joe is very prepared and LOVES his job. We didn’t feel like a client of his but more like a friend. Joe truly cares about each and everyone person he DJs for. He will even get out of the dance for with you and hype you up! Joe was quick on his feet when we asked if he could take pictures/videos of us since our photographer left. Over all 10/10 experience with him and we will definitely be telling all our friends to use DJ Joe Sheets!!

I’ve been to my fair share of weddings and this by far was the best DJ I have ever witnessed. He kept the party alive the whole night and was very supportive of whatever the bride and groom needed !

Made sure everyone felt welcome to the dance floor, helped maintain the flow of the reception, and even helped us perform a couple of family traditions!
