It’s always his number one priority to keep his clients happy! DJ Jo-El is a bilingual, Spanish-speaker that grew up in Chicago with a passion for the arts; his real “life of the party” type personality and life experiences is what makes him unique and a perfect DJ to entertain your next event. It All Started back in the 90’s, DJ Jo-El would help his cousin, who had a Dj business. It was then when DJ Jo-El learned the basics of spinning records.

eone who is responsive, communicative, and able to blend the Latin culture to other cultures, this is your guy. He was so nice to everyone and able to keep the party vibe going. I also have to praise his bilingual skills. They were seamless and all of our guests felt included. Additionally, put together a surprise wedding video for us and sent it to us the very next day which we were over the moon about! It was such a kind gesture and we loved our wedding day so much that now we will always have a hype video about it! If you are looking for someone who will care about your large meaningful life events with multiple moving parts, Joel is a professional who can take it on.

He kept the crowd excited and knew just what to play. The dance floor was crowded most of the night thanks to him. The Photo Booth was a fun addition as well and his wife was super helpful with that. If I could go back and do my wedding again I would still choose DJ Jo-el. Book him!!!

He is very friendly, lively, upbeat and always has a smile on his face. He always manages to crack a joke and make you laugh. He kept the party going all night long and played some bangers! He was very thorough in asking what we wanted and how we wanted things done. He went over the itinerary a couple days before the wedding to make sure we were all on the same page. He was on time, and if there were any microphone issues he was on top of it and getting it fixed promptly. I would definitely recommend DJ Jo-El for any wedding if you want the party going all night long!

schedule had multiple lineup changes between the rehearsal and even day of, and Jo-El rolled with the changes without a complaint. He moved the schedule of his day job to ensure he would be available for our rehearsal last-minute and showed up early on the wedding day to set up and go over the schedule of events again. He communicated seamlessly with our event coordinator (who already had good things to say about him from previous events at the venue) and checked in with us to make sure we were satisfied with how he was doing throughout the reception. The photo booth, which was run by his wife during the event, was a huge hit. The wedding games went flawlessly and the music was bumpin. Several of our guests told us how much they loved his banter with the wedding party as well. Can't recommend DJ Jo-El's services enough!
