If her words are any indication, Jon Gill is a phenomenal DJ! He really knew just how to read the crowd to make sure every was dancing all night long. Even when we had to end the wedding at 1:30am, people still wanted to dance because he was playing such great music and throwing such a wonderful party. My husband and I are very particular about our music tastes, and Jon was great to work with in that he listened to our expressed preferences, incorporated them often (for example, we wanted a lot of indie music during dinner -- something we also got compliments on after the wedding), but also knew how to adapt music depending on what the crowd wanted at any particular time. We feel very lucky that we were able to work with him!

(An under-appreciated role of the DJ is to keep the wedding moving along. Trust me, you will get distracted and need this...). Jon is flexible enough to adapt to last minute changes. He even added a personal touch when he recommended a song for the recession at our ceremony. In the heat of planning we had forgotten to pick a song for this integral part of the event. He pointed it out the day before and we both sat like deer in headlights at the brink of despair. He immediately recommended the perfect song. This guy is the real deal. If you want your wedding to have the special feel that it can only have when the music is right, the timing is good, and everyone is smiling then SERIOUSLY look no further. Jon is the additional factor that turned a beautiful venue with good food into a wedding celebration that was really reflective of our personalities and dreams.

He worked with my adventurous playlist for the ceremony and my do-not playlist, he even managed to incorporate all of the traditional Dominican songs I sent a list of into the evening which made for the most meaningful and authentic father-daughter dance ever.
