She'll keep guests of all ages on the dance floor all night long. Growing up in small-town Texas, music was always a huge part of Katie's life. From an early age, her parents, John and Ginger, were driving her weekly to fiddle and guitar lessons. After graduating high school, Katie went on to study Audio Engineering & Music Production at the Recording Connection at Planet Dallas, in association with the Los Angeles-based Recording Radio Film Connection, where she earned her certificate under instructor Rick Rooney. Katie has DJ'd countless weddings, private events, and celebrations of all kinds. Along the way, she's worked with notable people in the music industry like Josh Ward and Johnny Cooper and DJ'd events for WinStar World Casino & Resort, Texas Woman's University, CVS Health, First State Bank, and North Central Texas College. Beyond weddings, Katie is a proud founder of Our Night to Shine, a Cooke County nonprofit that hosts an annual prom night for the special needs community. Creating unforgettable moments through music is truly at the heart of everything she does.
