He was a great MC, super natural, knowing exactly what to say and when. Kevin was incredible! He had great communication with us throughout the entire year leading up to our wedding and coordinated well with our other vendors....
Even while we waited until the last minute, he kept giving us gentle reminders to provide him samples of our music tastes along with song selections for key parts of the ceremony. He also went above and beyond to slow down our walk-in song so the tempo would match the mood. Thanks dude!
During our reception Kevin played a great mix of our favorites along with sentimental upbeat grooves that matched our vibes. Lisa and I couldn't stop beaming at each other whenever our songs came on throughout dinner.
However, the real show started when the dance floor opened. We wanted a party and Kevin delivered, faxed and phonogramed that party into space. The sound was incredible, the sets were poppin, and the people couldn't have been happier. Everyone of our friends were asking us "Where did y'all find this guy???". We had multiple friends asking for his info days after our event.

would turn out. But Kevin absolutely crushed it! The music was perfectly tailored to our tastes, the energy was nonstop, and so many guests told us it was one of the most fun, “lit” weddings they’ve ever been to (some even asked for the playlist!).
He was also super communicative throughout the planning process, which gave us so much peace of mind. He really listens, balances preferences seamlessly, and keeps everything running smoothly. Thanks to him, our wedding was everything we hoped for and more!

Right from the start, he made coordination a breeze. He clearly communicated what he needed from the venue and what he would be bringing himself, which made it super simple for us to align everything with our venue’s AV team. His attention to detail and experience in working with different setups took a huge load off our plates.
As the wedding approached, Kevin proactively reached out to schedule a planning call. He took the time to ask what kind of energy and dance floor vibe we were hoping for, and also made sure to walk through the schedule for the ceremony, reception, and afterparty with us and our coordinator to make sure he knew what would be needed on our wedding day. He had clearly done his homework and came to the conversation prepared with thoughtful suggestions that helped shape the flow of the evening in the best possible way.
On the big day, Kevin was phenomenal. He read the room perfectly and created an atmosphere that had everyone on their feet. His transitions were seamless, his music choices struck the perfect balance between our preferences and the crowd’s energy, and he kept the momentum going all night. We had so many guests come up to us during and after the wedding to ask, “Who was that DJ? He was incredible!” Multiple people called him “fabulous,” “unbelievable,” and even “hands down the best DJ” they’d ever seen at a wedding.

From start to finish, he absolutely crushed it. He seamlessly blended all of our favorite tracks—spanning genres, decades, and even different cultures—into a perfectly curated experience. We threw some very obscure special requests his way, and somehow he not only found them but worked them in flawlessly like they were always meant to be there. From Pat Benatar, to Depeche Mode, to Kendrick Lamar, and even Romanian club bangers and traditional folk music? No problem. Kdotlim was able to magically blend them together into a seamless mix that got the whole crowd bumping all night.
His MC skills were on point, his mixes smooth as hell, and his timing impeccable. The whole night flowed beautifully thanks to his professionalism and expert pacing. He had everyone on the dance floor—from kids to grandparents—and we were blown away by how much joy and energy he brought to the celebration.
On top of it all, DJ Kdtolim is just a fantastic person to work with: thoughtful, professional, polished, and genuinely invested in making our night the best it could be. And it was—the best night of our lives as a couple. If you’re lucky enough to book him, do it. You won’t regret it.

What really sets DJ Kevin apart is how well he is able to read the crowd and the room - - giving the crowd exactly what they needed. We gave a list of suggestion genres that we thought would work well with our fellow guests and he really knew how to keep the dance floor going during the main dance, all the way until closing. Our guests raved about DJ Kevin and most of them say they may need a month after our wedding to recover because they had so much fun. th big music fanatics and had a very particular vision for the vibe that we wanted to create, specifically for the dance party segment of our reception. When we found Kevin, everything clicked right into place. He was extremely receptive to what we wanted and was on the same page as us from the get-go. Kevin never made us feel like we were asking for too much; he was equally as excited to work with us as we were to work with him. Once we heard one of his sets at Monarch Rooftop, we knew he was the one for us. He not only had incredible knowledge of the sound we wanted (primarily hip-hop with some soca and dancehall), but his transitions and mixes were *chef's kiss*.
Leading up to the wedding, Kevin was extremely responsive and communicative. We had zoom calls in the weeks before the wedding to go over every detail regarding our songs for processing down the aisle and our first dances. Kevin was in touch with our venue as well to ensure that from an equipment and sound standpoint, all would go smoothly on the day of.
Words cannot describe how much fun we had during our wedding and reception thanks to Kevin's talent! So many of our guests have approached us since the wedding talking about how amazing the music was and just how fun and lit the vibes were.
Even though we had a very specific vision for our wedding (and Kevin 1000% helped us achieve it!!), he is definitely a very versatile DJ, and we fully trust that he could cater to any client's preferences and requests for their own wedding. We seriously cannot recommend him enough!

in whilst he was playing at bar that I went to for a friend’s birthday. He left quite an impression because I had such a great time & I left wondering if he also did weddings.
When my time finally came around to get married, he was the first vendor I rushed to book. Having a good DJ was at the top of my priority list because they really set the vibe for the evening. I’ve been to plenty of weddings where the DJ couldn’t read the room or made transitions awkward — having heard him play already, I knew I wouldn’t have that problem with him!!!
Kevin was prompt to respond to my inquiry and by the grace of God, he became available to play for our wedding. Communicating with Kevin was a breeze — my husband and I had 2 vidchat meetings and numerous email exchanges, all to which he was quick to reply. Kevin was also very helpful in directing us to booking a lights and sounds guy that would better fit our venue.
We made a list of songs we wanted to hear, didn’t want to hear, and Kevin was kind enough to help edit the song for our first dance. Day of, he was very keen on listening to our requests and we had such a great time!! The mix was great, transitions were clever, and Kevin kept everything upbeat.
Hearing Kevin play was one of the things I was looking forward to the most on our wedding day (besides getting married, of course) and he did not disappoint. We made a new friend and we are not shy about recommending him to friends! Thank you Kevin, for everything and you’ll def be seeing us again!

pic dance party with all of our friends - Kevin understood this immediately, and delivered truly beyond our wildest imagination! He kept the vibes moving during cocktail hour, and then seriously BROUGHT THE PARTY. The dancefloor was packed for over 3 hours straight. It felt like every single person there asked us where we had found our DJ, and they couldn't believe the mixes he was doing on the fly!!
From the moment I first reached out to him in January right up until the end of the event, Kevin was consistently professional, upbeat, and efficient. He replied to all communication quickly, and was SO thoughtful in his preparation. He provided a shared document months ahead of time so that we could share music and scheduling info, and on the night of the event it was so evident that he had paid attention to every single detail ever mentioned in the document, over Zoom, or on our site visit. Every single must-play song came on at the perfect time, he managed to source very specific remixes that I had mentioned, and he kept the night running on schedule with such a chill, stress-free, and adaptable vibe. Kevin even introduced us to his colleague Richie for dance lights when we were debating our lighting options, which also ended up being absolutely perfect!
I cannot stress enough how collaborative and understanding Kevin is, how smooth the process was, and most importantly - what a KILLER DJ he is. He truly wants to deliver the night of your dreams. My heart felt like it was going to explode in the best way multiple times that night, because of all the incredible, better-than-you-could-ever-have-imagined dancefloor moments. I wish we had an excuse to do it all over again, I would work with Kevin again in a heartbeat!!!

y mingling and drinks, ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing) took place in one location - a restaurant. That put a lot of pressure on the music since we needed to set and maintain a tone while tuning the energy for different phases of the evening. Kevin nailed it.
From the first meeting, he was creative, collaborative, responsive and kind. We didn’t start with an exact vision for what we wanted, so he helped us refine our “brief” by asking thoughtful questions about us, our guests, etc.
He proactively went on two site visits to our venue to meet the events team, understand the space and optimize speaker placement. He requested to come to our rehearsal (in the pouring rain) to ensure he hit certain music cues for our processional. I mean, above and beyond.
In the end, he concepted and created the most PERFECT mix, which took us from café music and crooner vibes to yacht rock to the club. He played all our favorites, but it didn’t feel cookie cutter, and he mixed everything in a way that kept people excited and on the dance floor.
We loved working with Kevin from start to finish and hope we have another excuse to work with him in the future!
