Oh my gosh! Kelly was the key to an amazingly fun reception! The dance floor was NEVER empty, and we had an awesome time that I will NEVER forget. It was like non stop party! She had everything down perfectly, from the timing for events, announcements, and the fabulous dance music. I would 100% recommend her!!!

I don’t think I can put into words just how INCREDIBLE DJ Kelly is and the impact she had in making our wedding day unforgettable! We met Kelly in November 2019 when she DJ’d our friends wedding, and my then boyfriend and I walked out knowing we would hire her for our wedding one day. Fast forward to November 2021 and it was one of the best decisions ever! Kelly is not only kind, compassionate and extremely professional, but she made you and everyone feel like you have known her for years! She took everything my husband and I wanted in a reception, ran with it and DELIVERED far greater than what we could’ve imagined!! The dance floor was the best party of our lives. Hands down. DJ Kelly is your ticket to an amazingly fun wedding! She is so fun and energetic. Right away, it felt like she knew us and what we wanted out of our wedding. We had an absolute blast on the dance floor. And I know that she was a huge reason for the entire wedding to run as smoothly as it did. Super easy to review this chick, Amazing. I’d give 20 stars if I could. From start to finish, the ceremony to the last dance, she killed it! Even took it upon herself to fill in when our photographer/videographer cut out early. Kelly did a fantastic job as DJ and MC at our wedding! In the prep stages, she spend a lot of time with me going over song choices for the ceremony to make sure that they were exactly the right version. The day of our wedding she kept everything running really smooth and on-time. She kept the dance floor rocking all night at our reception- she is amazing at reading the room and seems to magically know what the crowd wants to hear at any given moment. She even got my grandma to boogie! She played all the songs we requested (even the weird obscure ones) and I am still getting compliments on how much fun everyone had! Kelly made me feel very at-ease on what could have been a very stressful day. She is so sweet and obviously cares a lot about her couples. Music makes or breaks a Wedding! Our number one priority when we got engaged was making sure that we had a DJ that would create the right atmosphere on our big day. From the moment we met Kelly we knew that we had picked the right person. From scheduling to making a playlist for the Wedding to setting up on the big day she went above and beyond to make sure we felt like the most important people in the world. Kelly is simply amazing! She has the most inviting personality, very attentive to her clients, and really knows how to make a wedding spectacular. When I first initially met with her, I told her my wedding colors were navy, maroon, and gold. We talked about how traditional black speakers wouldn’t match with my color scheme. Kelly surprised me on my wedding day with white speakers!!! I can’t say enough good things about Kelly and how awesome she is.

First, Kelly is the funnest person I have ever met. I had so many family members come up to me after my wedding and tell me how much they loved our DJ because she made our wedding so fun! Her ability to read a crowd was amazing, and she always seemed to know what song to play when. I don’t think our dance floor was ever empty. I asked for a party and she gave me one. 5 Stars isn’t really enough for DJ Kelly! She is the best. I know it was my wedding but I have never had so much fun in.my.life. She had the crowd going all night long (like for 4 hours!). She knew exactly the right songs to play at the right time and a week later people are still talking about how good the music was. I want Kelly to DJ my life. We are trying to figure out how to have Kelly at all our parties! Hire her! But only if you want an epic soundtrack to a night you’ll never forget!

OH. MY. GOD. Kelly was SO amazing to us from start to finish. We asked our photographer if she had any recommendations for a fun DJ that could turn our wedding into the biggest party ever and she recommended DJ Kelly Hooper. Kelly blew us away! The dance floor was never empty and a ton of our guests were gushing the next day about how much they loved our DJ. At our first meeting, she was incredibly fun and bubbly, but also very professional, and we clicked instantly. Leading up to our wedding, she was super helpful and wasn't afraid to give us some gentle yet honest feedback on our timeline, and we are so glad that she did. My husband and I leaned on our vendors to give us a lot of guidance throughout the whole process, so this was a really important quality to us. On our actual wedding day, Kelly arrived as soon as the venue opened up and was making sure, first and foremost, that I was taken care of. She brings her own setup that is super sleek so you don't have giant big black speakers in the background of all of your photos. Kelly was a perfect emcee throughout the night and kept everything flowing smoothly and had no problem keeping everyone dancing. Even our wedding coordinator was telling us that we had one of the craziest dance floors she had seen in a long time! I honestly cannot think of a single negative thing that we could possibly say about Kelly. If you are looking for a party, Kelly is your girl!

Let me start off by saying that myself, my husband, and my family absolutely LOVE Kelly! I first met Kelly when she was hired for my sisters wedding almost two years ago and I was so blown away with her there that I asked for her business card (which I still have) and told her that I wanted to hire her for my wedding. Seeing as my wedding was so far off at that point, I would've had plenty of time to find another DJ but NO, it wasn't even a question in my mind, I knew Kelly had to be there on our big day. I cannot say enough good things. She is punctual, friendly, energetic, passionate, caring, easy to talk to and communicate with. All the things you look for when hiring for your wedding or any event. She went above and beyond on the wedding day by helping with setup, assisting in issues that would arise from layout/weather/any other mishap that goes on at weddings. She also made sure to check on us throughout the night make sure we had an amazing time. You can tell she loves her job and really cares about her couples. She did all this while thoroughly entertaining our guests and overall just being a rockstar at her job. We had so many compliments on the music and she did such a great job getting people out on the dance floor! Kelly is by far the most incredible DJ that we have ever seen. For our wedding, she was so organized and made sure that everything was exactly how we wanted it. She even timed the song that I walked down the aisle to the very second so that I had the perfect entrance. I have never seen a dance floor as packed as it was that night. My husband and I didn't have to worry about a single issue with the sound or anything and were able to truly be present and cherish the moments. Where to begin?... We’ll begin with the fact that Kelly is amazing! She was one of the most essential pieces of my wedding! I truly don’t know how I would have gotten through the entire wedding process without her.. I was totally clueless on how to plan a wedding! From the moment we first spoke on the phone I knew I was going to love her! Then the second I met her at our first meeting I instantly felt like I’d met a long lost friend! She knew exactly what I was looking for and wanting before I could even say it. Each meeting and text (and believe me I texted A LOT) she always treated me (us) like one of her most important clients. She went out of her way to research beautiful instrumental versions of songs we wanted... and the work she did made the choosing hard because I wanted them all! She helped give me tips and ideas and referrals for every aspect of putting the wedding together. After months of planning it was finally our big day... she arrived at the venue and set up before I even arrived. She came to visit while we were all getting ready and made sure I had everything I needed. She helped with last minute items and made special deliveries for me to my husband to be. She helped direct guests and had music going to set the ambience as guests arrived. She made me feel like the most special bride there ever was! The timing of each song during the ceremony was perfect and made the experience that much more beautiful and emotional! Still to this day I will play the ceremony playlist and get teary eyed! During the cocktail hour she kept our guests happy and entertained while we took pictures. She knew exactly how to keep the whole event going seamlessly; including helping to release tables during the dinner hour. The whole day/night was such a blur, but what I remember most was how she mingled with our guests by talking to them and even getting on the dance floor and dancing with us all.. especially during line dance songs so that everyone had an example of the moves! She truly was such a pleasure and I will never forget how she made our day that much more special! I will end this in saying that my top 2 priorities were music and photography... she blew my wedding away with her art and generosity! I loved having Kelly DJ our wedding. She helped me along the way with anything I needed, she always responded to my questions and emails, and she made the process easy. Kelly is everything you want in a DJ – great energy, really caring, listens to what you want, outgoing, and FUN – she has truly found her calling. Kelly.... Kelly, Kelly, KELLY! Where do I even begin!? From the beginning, of course! DJ Kelly was recommended to us by our Wedding Coordinator, Christy Matthews. We really wanted a female DJ who was local. Christy had never worked with Kelly before, however, but Christy distinctly remembered a situation where she needed advise from a DJ, posted on a forum, and DJ Kelly was the only one to respond instantly to Christy. My husband and I reach out to Kelly, hoping she had room in her schedule to accommodate our special day. Kelly responded immediately, and the energy she brought, just through her initial correspondence, was STELLAR! We KNEW instantly we made the right choice! My husband and I live in Boston, so meeting Kelly in person was a priority because we really wanted to build that in-person connection. Kelly understood completely and invited us to meet with her at the Dallas World Aquarium the next time we were in town visiting family and wrangling wedding shenanigans! Y'all.... when I say Kelly gave us fireworks and a grandiose tour, I AM NOT JOSHIN'!!!! The moment we met Kelly I felt the love, the energy, and all the good vibes... you know, the ones that give you goose bumps! She took us in, coached us through how the day would probably go, and what to start thinking about musically. She also gave a free pass to my family to explore the Aquarium and gave us a private tour while she was at it! UN-BELIEVABLE! ABOVE AND BEYOND! As the days came closer to "The Big One," Kelly was on par with communication. EXTREMELY accomodating of our time, always open to FaceTime, and never skipped a beat when hashing out the deets on the music. She even created our own mash-up for the mother-son dance! But I'm not stoppin' there, oh no, cuz Kelly didn't stop there either! I dunno how much more I can stress that this woman went so far and beyond her call of duty that she was in the stratosphere! C'mon somebody! "The Big Day" is here, and guess where Kelly spent her entire day.....? WITH US! She arrived HOURS before the ceremony even began to setup, mic check, sound check, and make sure all the details were in place. She don't play, y'all! And when the moment arrived to walk down the isle...... we were all in tears! Kelly's power to command music and evoke emotion is unparalleled by none! When I told Kelly "I wanted tears," SHE LITERALLY DELIVERED TEARS. The icing on the cake was the reception. I follow Kelly on Instagram and saw she had done a wedding a few weeks before ours and reached out to her letting her know I was amazed by the dance party wedding she did with all the glow tubes and lighting. Kelly SURPRISED us with freakin' GLOW TUBES!!! She turnt up, y'all! The sweetest gift! She DID NOT have to do this, but because she knew I loved it so much, she came with her A-Game and did not disappoint! But I think my favorite moment of all was when my husband and I had our Sweetheart dance. It was just myself, my husband, and Kelly, and I wouldn't have had it any other way. Thank you, Kelly, from the bottom of our hearts, for going above and beyond for our special day. I have NEVER meet anyone as caring, compassionate, passionate, and hard-working as you. There are literally no words for the efforts you afforded us to have a seamless and worry-free wedding. YALL, Kelly Hooper is THE PARTY of wedding DJs!! She was an absolute blast to work with from the very beginning! She felt like family during all of the planning and our meeting just felt like hanging out with a close friend! She did a phenomenal job of making the wedding reception feel like one big party! She played all the music we wanted and requested as well as changing up the pace of music by reading the crowd and changing the tunes as necessary. She is sweet, personable, fun, brilliant and knows how to throw a party. Our music was flawless. Everyone loved the songs and the night was more magical and perfect than I could have dreamed. We hired Kelly for the reception only but she still showed up several hours before the ceremony to make sure that not only was she set up and ready to go, but that I was taken care of. She even stayed with me to make sure I was calm and ready to walk the aisle. Kelly is truly an amazing DJ but even more importantly an incredible and kind person. She’s so much more than just a DJ. DJ Kelly did an absolutely amazing job at my son's wedding last weekend! From the minute she started playing music, she got our guests up and dancing! She got to the venue right on time, was very professional and played great music throughout the night. I cannot endorse Kelly enough! She was the absolute best DJ I have ever seen and at my age, I have been to a ton of weddings and events to be able to compare her to others. I would happily recommend her for weddings, corporate events or really anything where you want your guests to have an amazing, fun time!

Kelly was absolutely amazing at our wedding, and she is such a talented DJ and generally great person to be around! Leading up to the wedding, she was such a great resource for recommendations, help with selecting songs for key moments, and checking in on how everything was going. On the day-of, she was such a huge help in making sure that everything ran perfectly smoothly--from being flexible when we moved the ceremony, to working in a pretty sizable list of special songs, to keeping the guests aware of all of our reception highlights in a subtle, natural way. Music-wise, she hit the perfect note all evening, and totally nailed the relaxed vibe we wanted for cocktails and dinner. Once the dance floor opened, she kept things busy all night (even pulling in a few guests that swore they never danced), and our friends are still talking about how great the music was a few weeks later. All in all, I don't think I could have asked for a better DJ for our wedding!

Amazing job! Such a cool woman -- she went with the flow & literally kept the flow during our reception! She was also there when we needed some last-minute things for the ceremony (mics, music), and was always extremely courteous about it. Thank you Kelly!

I booked Kelly through Encore Entertainment. My fiancé and I met with her for the first time and immediately knew she was the one we wanted for our DJ. She is such a friendly person and really listened to the type of music we wanted. Before the wedding she sent me multiple versions of the songs I requested for the ceremony to ensure I was getting the exact sound I wanted. The songs played during the reception were exactly what we wanted! She was very flexible during the reception when we decided to make on the fly changes with some of the timeline. I highly recommend Kelly!

Highly recommend Kelly! She is personable and totally wants to make your night special. She did an amazing job of reading the crowd and played the songs that kept people dancing. There were moments that I would describe as “magical” because of the songs she played and the guest’s reaction. She is worth hiring!

Kelly was referred to me through our venue (they called her hands down their favorite DJ). I know from the moment that I met her that she was perfect! She is very personable, professional, and accommodating. Every request we had for our special night she made happen. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with Kelly at our wedding. I was referred to Kelly by my wedding planner. I had nothing to go off of but her word, however, I knew from the moment Kelly and I met up the first time in person to talk about my wedding that she was going to be amazing. We met twice in person for planning before my event. Kelly was prompt and professional, yet down to earth and REAL. She listened to all my special requests and we collaborated beautifully together. She knew my needs before I even knew my own needs. She is truly an expert in her field. On our wedding day, Kelly showed up bright and early for sound check and to make sure everything was set and ready to go. She played all the music for our ceremony, happy hour, dinner, and reception. I gave her a short list of "must play" songs and she played every single one of them. Every single little detail was taken care of as if it were her own wedding. She doesn't JUST play music for your event, Kelly is the WHOLE PACKAGE. She gets the crowd involved and gets the party started. Everyone was on their feet dancing as the night went on. Kelly even joined us on the dance floor a time or two and it was so much fun. She MC'd the entire evening and made special announcements as per our schedule for the night. We rounded off the evening with our Sweetheart Dance (which I didn't even know was a "thing" until Kelly told me about it and I was like... HECK YES we're doing a sweetheart dance!). My new hubby and I had one last dance in the room all to ourselves and the finishing touch on the very last song she played just made my heart melt. She literally KILLED IT and we couldn't be more pleased with how things turned out. She truly was the seam that brought the entire evening together. We had so much fun and made memories that will last a lifetime. I highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a DJ for their event, and especially for your wedding day.

Oh man y'all...I don't even know where to begin. Kelly was the best and I can't imagine having anyone else DJ our wedding. The amount of guests that came up to me at the wedding and since then just raving about her is outrageous. She really made sure to cater to everyone and kept the dance floor busy! She was so easy to work with and communication was never an issue. She even offered for us to have our rehearsal dinner at the Dallas Aquarium when there was a possibility that our original location was going to fall through. She really went above and beyond. I knew I wanted to hire Kelly within the first few minutes of our first meeting. She has such a vibrant personality and is so down to earth. She took the time to get to know my husband and I over dinner, and it just felt like we've known her for years. Throughout the entire planning process, she was personally available to both of us for any questions we had, and she gave me tons of advice on all sorts of wedding matters. Kelly took initiative in coordinating with other vendors, and helped direct traffic on the wedding day. She was flexible and available, even attended the final meeting at the venue to help plan with her itinerary and answer questions. So let's talk about the big day. It was beautiful and perfect, and people have raved about three things: the music, the cake, and the flowers. Kelly created the exact atmosphere we wanted for our reception, and perfectly represented us and our parents. She helped us create a special moment with a surprise tribute, and was an entertaining and informative host. She kept us all on track throughout the evening, and was just wonderful. I cannot say enough about her professionalism, musical intuition, ability to read/direct/entertain a crowd of 265, outgoing personality, and authenticity.

DJ Will is awesome. He did such a great job at our wedding. Very laid back and easy to work with and plan. He checked in with us often and made sure things went just how we, the bride and groom, wanted it to go. Which is what you want on your wedding day. Kept the flow of the reception very well. Got people up and dancing and knew what to do next or not to change the music to keep everyone dancing. We had so much fun, guests of all ages enjoyed themselves. Very professional!

Kelly Hooper is the DJ for Just Push Play DJ Services. She was absolutely fantastic. She is a personable, professional perfectionist who made our day amazing. Our wedding party couldn't stop talking about her after the wedding. They all loved her! Kelly met with the bride and groom on multiple occasions to get to know us, talk about her services, and get a specific idea of what we needed. She counseled us on the order of the reception and made it run very smoothly. She did our ceremony and reception music at the same site and did a perfect job. She came to the rehearsal to make sure we were all cued on the music and ready to go, and she found all the songs we asked for, even the obscure ones, at no extra cost. She is so affordable and versatile. Kelly roamed among the crowd occassionally to get people up on the dance floor, but she didn't talk much on the mic during the night, other than to be our master of ceremonies (she's not one to love the sound of her own voice!). Kelly charged me for a 6 hour stint, but arrived several hours early to set up and make sure we were all ready. She had a list of requests, must-haves, and don't plays, and she did a great job mediating between my country-loving family and my pop-loving friends all evening, keeping everyone on the dance floor. Kelly is very thorough and careful to make our night special for us. We got to set up whether she would take requests from our guests in advance. She also has a great playlist for ceremony/cocktail reception/dinner/dancing transitions. The music was never too loud and always provided the right atmosphere without intruding. Kelly was also so much fun to be around that everyone loved her!
