ve: at the last minute we needed him to handle the sound for our Wedding Ceremony, and he seamlessly sorted it out (he was supposed to just DJ during our evening picnic and nighttime dance party). Across the board, the sound quality was great and all the cues were hit, all with very little effort and coordination on our part.
Musically, Zach read the room impressively. We supplied him with a brief sample playlist of things we like, and he was able to find the perfect sweet spot that encompassed our more esoteric tastes and the whims of the dancefloor revelers. At least a dozen of our guests have asked for the playlist, and so many people have remarked to us about how great the DJ was.

The Planning Process: Zach made the planning incredibly easy. He was meticulous about understanding our musical taste, taking our “must-play” list seriously, and working with our unique expectations. He was quick to answer emails and very flexible as we needed him to extend their hours to assist with the ceremony A/V.
The Wedding Day: He handled the sound and music for both our ceremony and reception flawlessly. The transition between the different parts of the day was seamless. During the reception, Zach absolutely crushed it! He read the room perfectly, kept the energy high, and played hit after hit that kept the dance floor packed all night long. The mixing was smooth, the sound quality was excellent. Plus, our guests were able to quick get their requests played!

Zach asked us for a list of songs/playlist for our songs, and we gave him 2 sets: One for cocktail hour/dinner and one for the dancing section.
The vibes were amazing during the cocktail hour and dinner. My parents personally loved some of their very own favorites playing as we were all chatting and having dinner.
Once the dinner service ended, music transitioned into Disco/Salsa/Merengue and it was great to see our friends jumping from their chairs and into the dance floor.
We’ve heard nothing but great compliments from friends and family on the music and vibes through the night and the great pickup during the happy hour!

llecting songs and planning music for the day. I was very late in sending him playlists of what we wanted and he was totally chill with it. It was so appreciated at the time. He’s technically proficient and really sensitive to understanding the vibe you are after. He took great care in everything that he did: cuing ceremony music, manning the decks during dinner, first dance, and DJing the party.
Most importantly he is a legit DJ. A bonafide NYC head. You either get it or you don’t, but Zach has a deep understanding of the dynamics of a dancefloor. He knows how to take the vibe you want, and use it to get people out of their seats, and keep them dancing. He’s got the skills.
My wife and I have attended weddings where the music has been a disappointment. We find it really dampens the atmosphere when the party music doesn’t hit quite right. So when planning our wedding and what was most important to us, we agreed the #1 priority was the party. The music. We wanted a disco that was joyful, eclectic, and banging. A party that would have everyone on their feet dancing and throwing shapes regardless of their age. Zach delivered this in spades. So many guests commented on just how great the music was. We were thrilled with the job he did.
