r. He did a wonderful job MCing and it wouldn't be the same without him! The only awkward moment was when the grand entrance into the reception hadn't gone to plan, and we weren't introduced in the correct order (the entrance was only for the groom and myself), as I believe he had gotten ahead of himself and missed that piece. It was fixed as soon as he noticed. Beyond that, everything else went great and the dancing music was great later on in the night!

Rather than giving him a strict playlist, we shared the vibe we wanted to create for each part of the day—from the ceremony and cocktail hour to dinner and the dance floor—and he absolutely ran with it. Every transition felt intentional, every song felt right, and the music elevated each moment exactly the way we had hoped. One thing we were especially nervous about was having such a diverse guest list. Our crowd spanned multiple generations, backgrounds, and musical tastes, but DJ Ki somehow managed to keep everyone engaged and on the dance floor all night long. It felt like every song hit at exactly the right time. Beyond the music itself, Kimani was an incredible MC. He kept the evening flowing seamlessly, made announcements naturally, and struck the perfect balance between being present and letting the celebration shine. In fact, our wedding planner told us he was one of the easiest and best DJ/MCs she has ever worked with. Even weeks after the wedding, guests are still telling us how amazing the music was and how immaculate the energy felt throughout the night. We truly cannot thank Kimani enough for the role he played in making our wedding unforgettable.
