DJ Leo III

I didnt use him for my wedding, but he was rude in email communication. My initial impression of him was it was "his way or the highway" because he has 30+ years of experience. Great, if you have that much experience, you should learn how to treat people and answer questions in a nice way instead of being dismissive. Also, his website has good info, but he should update it.

My husband and I hosted the wedding and reception for our son and wonderful, new daughter-in-law, and we chose Leo as our DJ for the reception and are very pleased with his work. Leo returned our voicemails in a timely manner and is very professional. He had no issue working with the Zoo on a couple requirements that they had or with accommodating a special request from us. At the event, he wore a tuxedo and a top hat (which made him easy to locate), was not overbearing or obnoxious in his emceeing, and made sure the focus of the reception stayed on the happy couple versus himself. (People are there to celebrate the wedding, not to go clubbing and I think there are DJs who forget that, but not Leo.) The happy couple provided him with a list of approximately 50 songs, in addition to the entrance, first dance, father-daughter, etc. songs, and Leo used other assorted songs in the same genre and requests from guests to fill out the night. As part of the wedding package, Leo projects a slideshow of photos of the bride and groom on the large screen he has…my son and daughter-in-law opted not to do that, but the large screen did come in handy for a special request of ours – the best man, the groom’s cousin, was unable to attend due to his Naval commitments, but he did send a video of his toast to the newlyweds. We were able to get a copy to Leo the day before the wedding and he seamlessly introduced and projected it onto the screen at the appropriate time. It really was a special moment for all of the family members in attendance. The screen was a nice touch during other parts of the night as well, Leo would project video of the cake cutting, bouquet toss, and garter toss on it, so if you were not close enough in person to see, it was very helpful. At the end of the night, he presented the couple with a CD of their “special” songs (entrance/intro, first dance, dance with parents) as a nice keepsake. We’re very pleased with Leo’s work at the reception, he helped to make the evening a truly beautiful event.

We had the pleasure of seeing DJ Leo at several receptions in the past year and our daughter selected him for her reception. The service Leo provides is exceptional - the site was an hour from Toledo and he was there early to make sure he was set up and ready to go. He provided his equipment to be used during the dinner hour so a friend could sing - that was much appreciated ! Everyone was amazed at the slideshow of the couple since they had gotten married a month before in a private ceremony. This gave our guests a chance to see the location and ceremony itself. He put together a set of songs requested by the couple for the first dance that was amazing - with the help of the screen Leo provides, all of the guests were able to see what was happening. I can't say enough about the service Leo provides at such a reasonable price. I highly recommend DJ Leo, you will not be disappointed !

DJ Leo was hard to get a hold of as he didn't respond by email very well. He did play some songs that we specially put on our do not play list. Other songs we gave him ahead of time and he didn't have. I feel like he should have been able to find Good Golly Ms Molly somewhere. We asked if we could forgo his big slideshow presentation and just put a slideshow of our baby pictures on a tv in the bar area, but he made his feel bad about asking so we agreed to the screen. The screen was nice as he displays the first dance, mother/father dance and cake cutting on it. However, he also plays music videos on the screen during the dancing and it's slightly distracting to the whole wedding atmosphere. We set up a time to meet with DJ Leo at his house and when we showed up he was not there. We had to wait a half hour for him to get there. Luckily his wife was there to take down some of our information, but we just had to repeat it all once he finally arrived.

Not a bad DJ, very friendly and experienced. Good music selection and lots of extras. We got a CD with our music on it (first dance, father daughter etc.) and a DVD of a picture slideshow that he puts on during dinner which was a big hit!! Also, he had a screen that showed the first dance and cake cutting, people dancing etc for people that may of had difficulty seeing. However, he did not get the people to go out on the dance floor. I have seen DJs before that would get the guests pumped and on the floor. DJ Leo often stumbled over his words while talking. He also came wearing a tux that had a visible stain on the pants. I had a lot of guests make comments to me about it and it did not look very professional. We had met with him prior to our wedding and made a few requests as in when to get the guests on the dance floor and when to start the first dance song etc. and he did not follow these requests.

DJ Leo was amazing! Our favorite part was the video slide show he does during dinner! He offers so much more than most DJ's but for half the cost! The whole night went smoothly and he played all the right songs! I definitely recommend any bride/groom provide your DJ with a song list just so they know your taste in music. We did and he was right on top of everything the whole night! Our dance floor was full all night long and people are still talking about it! Thanks Leo, you are the best! We will definitely reccommend him in the future!

Leo was great - played everything we asked him to play - he helped make the party rock!

For the cost, this DJ did more than all other DJ's that I checked out and he was a fraction of the cost. I would definitely recommend him for more weddings.

Although he was booked for my date DJ Leo is great! They were very nice and professional when I talked with them.

DJ Leo III was AWESOME. He was very personable and really took over as far as making the whole wedding run smooth. He did a slideshow and even filmed us dancing to project for everyone to see. He had a great selection of music and made the wedding SO much fun. I recommend everyone use him. Very good price as well!

DJ Leo was great. He even found a random jazz song for the spoon playing that occurred. Everything went smoothly, and I loved that he included a slideshow for us.
