DJ Live

high-end equipment. Richie helped us with our timeline, had us fill out a form of song requests, and was transparent with pricing and due dates which made the process so easy. The transitions of ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were all seamless. Richie is a great DJ/MC- he is upbeat, spoke clearly, and introduced everyone (parents, bridal party, and us) with high energy entering the reception, and transitioned well for first dance, speeches, parent dances, cake cutting etc throughout the night. The lights, personalized sign, custom gobo projector, percussion/drums were a huge hit and definitely elevated the experience!! Richie made the night flow so well, and worked with our venue and photographers in order for everything to be on cue & the music kept our guests dancing all night! It truly was the best day ever and we are so thankful for Richie and the entire DJ Live team!

r guests kept talking about how great he was and how much fun they had. We have been to other weddings where he was the dj as well as our wedding and he always does a fantastic job. Richie is hands down the best and we’re grateful we had him! 10/10 recommend!!

the wedding I told Richie that I just wanted to dance and have fun, he delivered. An absolute 10/10!!

g helpful advice when asked. He truly stood out as he checked in throughout the planning process and was always accommodating with my schedule. My sister and cousin both used Richie for their weddings, so I already knew I wanted him for ours, and he did not disappoint. He truly brings the energy and is just as much a part of the celebration as the guests! His drums, disco ball, and photo booth were a huge hit and added so much fun to the night. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ!

s but we had multiple guests tell us our DJ was phenomenal and knew exactly how to get the party started and keep it going. Absolutely recommend Richie to anyone looking for a great DJ!

ponsive, patient, and reassuring. We had a million questions, and he answered every single one with ease and confidence, which made the whole planning process feel effortless. On the day itself, Richie was outstanding. He kept everything running seamlessly, read the room perfectly, and absolutely elevated the atmosphere. He didn’t just play music — he created moments. From getting my groomsman up playing the bongos to pulling me in for a spontaneous drum session, he brought an energy that had everyone engaged and loving every second. What really stood out was his presence — always upbeat, smiling, and completely in sync with the crowd. He genuinely made the night unforgettable. One of our guests even joked that they’d get remarried just to have Richie as their DJ — and honestly, that says it all. If you’re considering him, don’t hesitate. He was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.

!! So happy we hired them everything was perfect no notes!!

ll with Richie, he helped us immensely with our reception timeline and really kept the dance floor full and the evening running smoothly. We didn't have to worry about a thing and had the most amazing experience! If you are on the fence, look no further!

saxophone player had everyone out on the dancefloor all night. Anyone looking for an amazing experience should hire DJ Live!!!

ng, laughing, and having an incredible time. You were patient, organized, and wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. Thank you for creating such a memorable evening filled with energy, joy, and magic. I would highly recommend your services to anyone looking to make their event unforgettable. Michelle

has a talent for getting the party started and brings such positive energy to every room he walks into. Everyone during and after the wedding kept telling me how great the DJ was. Richie also did the music for my cocktail hour and even one of the chefs said it was the best mix of music he heard at a wedding in a long time. I can’t recommend DJ Live highly enough!!

ailable to discuss planning. Their professionalism and attention to detail made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free. On our wedding night, the team of DJ Live, kept the energy flowing all night long! The setup was next-level — state-of-the-art sound and lighting that transformed our venue into a full-on celebration space. The photo booth was a massive hit with our guests, and the sparklers added a magical touch to our first dance. Having Richie playing the drums alongside the DJ set was absolutely electric! It brought a whole new level of excitement to the dance floor. His energy was absolutely contagious! Allowing us to play the drums to one of our favorite songs is a memory we will never forget! If you're looking for a DJ who goes above and beyond to create a truly magical and unforgettable experience, look no further. This was more than just playing music — it was a full production, and we received so many compliments from our guests. Highly, highly recommended!

n to earth, and gets your party on their feet! He is the best entertainer in the game. Our venue had an issue with their intelligent lighting and DJ Richie used his own lights to save the day. He worked with us on everything to make sure we had a perfect wedding. When we told him that we wanted to do a T-shirt toss instead of a bouquet toss he was excited to help and made sure it went off without a hitch. He hyped up our guests and got them excited for the toss. He is a professional and knows what he is doing. We were so happy that we picked him to help us with our day and he was the best, We are going to use him for all of our future events! Seriously the best vendor!

t vision for the reception. A number of our guests from all age demographics commented on how fun the event was, and Richie was a big part of the reason why. We also used his keys player (Ronnie) and saxophonist (Tyriq) who were both fantastic! We were able to provide Ronnie with an unconventional wedding score for our processional and he nailed it! Everyone was so impressed with Tyriq as well and he really knew how to work the room and get the crowd going with the sax riffs. Richie also did an awesome job documenting some of our reception and sharing it on social media (no need for a content creator!!) and it was so nice to wake up the next morning and look back on some of the videos right away. Don't let the comparative lack of reviews deter you--he is incredible to work with, highly professional, and has a ton of experience from prior ventures.

us how great he was. He truly went above and beyond and made our wedding unforgettable.

t. So we reached out when it came time to plan our own wedding.. Richie was immediately kind and welcoming, communicative, and accommodating. Between the saxophonist (who genuinely left us speechless), fun photo booth, the drums, the sign that my family members were fighting over to hold on the dance floor, Richie's energy throughout the night, and of course the music that kept us all on the dance floor, we couldn't have asked for a better entertainment group to host our wedding. We'll always remember the evening for the energy DJ Live brought to it!

courteous. Richie perfectly orchestrated the party, and followed our plan perfectly. This made the night perfect!! I will easily book them again for any other party!

r the different age groups in the crowd, and killed it on the drums. He was an absolute blast to work with and helped make our special day that much better!!

reception game! Since our wedding day we have heard from countless guests at how impressed they were with the flow of the night and the music. The DJ Live team is very attentive to the bride and grooms wants and needs. They are flexible and will make sure that everything goes exactly how you want. Our reception dance floor was packed with friends and family. We had wedding guests who actually complained at one point that they couldn’t get off the dance floor for a break because the music was so good. The DJ’s are experienced and keep tempo/style of music matching through their transitions to keep everyone intrigued. The photo booth included was a fun addition for our guests. The booth provides a print out and sends it to your phone. Additionally we received a file including all the photos taken by our guests afterwards which leaves some fun memories for us to look back on. The quality of the photos are very good compared to other photo booths we have used before. Lastly, the DJ Live team thinks of everything. At our venue DJ live utilized multiple speakers and setups so that there were no empty gaps without music or audio. This covered the ceremony, cocktail hour and of course the reception/dinner. If DJ Live can service your location, I would not book anyone else!

ergy and seamless transitions made every moment memorable, and they nailed our special requests. **Even though I sent them a laundry list less than 24 hours prior!*** They were professional, arrived early, and handled announcements with ease. He was extremely professional, fun and articulate. He brought our wedding to life! I the bride did not leave the dance floor all night (& I’m not a dancer?). He brought signs, percussions and lights. The saxophone touch people are still taking about. Absolutely amazing day! Thank you Richie and team!

o. Every part of working with them was absolutely incredible. One of the most shocking parts that we did not expect was during the reception when dinner was being served, they lowered the volume and played a nice smooth jazz so that our guests and ourselves could have a wonderful conversation over dinner! It was so mindful and when it was time to dance, they definitely made it feel like the most amazing party and the dance floor was going all night. We also got the photobooth and we and our guests loved it!!! Truly such a great experience and we would definitely book them again.

me of songs that we wanted, came through on every request we made, and played every single song on our must play list. He knew exactly how to keep our party going and our dance floor was filled all night long. We still have guests texting us asking who our DJ was because they had so much fun. He made our night everything we could have asked for and more and absolutely exceeded our expectations! We can't recommend DJ Live enough!

wedding. Trusted staff at our venue said they'd use him and only him for their own personal events. Go with DJ Live!

really took the time to understand our vision and made sure every detail was just right. The music was spot on, and he kept the energy high all night long. Our guests were on the dance floor until the very end, and we’re still getting compliments on how much fun everyone had. Richie is not only a talented DJ but also a genuinely kind person who clearly loves what he does. Highly recommend!

atmosphere with a perfect mix of current hits, throwbacks, and student requests. Richie was professional, engaging, and completely in tune with our crowd. The sound and lighting were top-notch, and the energy never dipped. As the event coordinator, I especially appreciated how easy he was to work with—professional, responsive, and committed to making the night a success. I highly recommend Richie and DJ Live for any school event or celebration. Our students had a blast, and we couldn’t have asked for better entertainment!

n the day of the wedding, he arrived plenty early with his team to set up. From the cocktail hour to MCing the grand entrance and speeches, he kept everything running smoothly all night. He also accommodated the special requests we had - for example we sang at the end of our first dance, and he provided us with 2 microphones. We optioned to have the live drums and sax player as well, which added a great energy. His song selections were awesome and he kept the dance floor filled all night. Every time I looked at him he had a smile on his face. All around great guy and positive energy! Would highly recommend DJ Richie and his team for your wedding or any special event.

be that we were looking for and took our music suggestions and really put together a wonderful mix for the night. It is a week later and our friends and family are STILL telling us how much of a blast they had. Everyone was on the dance floor all night! Richie really worked the crowd and he is a phenomenal MC. He is a true professional and I would highly recommend him to anyone !!! Thank you Richie for the best night ever! I will forever cherish the memories from this night!

music and entertainment!

sts were very entertained and some even told us that they would hire him for future events. You will not be disappointed!

! Richie also made sure to continuously check in prior to the wedding and ensure everything was what my husband and I wanted for our big day. He truly goes above and beyond and is also an amazing musician. Be sure to have him bring his drum set, the guests LOVE it!!

l the whole night and everyone had a great time at our wedding!

ur guests on the dance floor all night long. He was very responsive leading up to the big day and sent check ins throughout the planning process. His passion for music truly reflects in his work! We can't thank you enough for making our night so memorable!!!

ht times and made us feel like stars. He made sure to play all of our favorite songs and mixed everything perfectly to keep the entire crowd on the dance floor. DJ Live’s pianist at cocktail hour was wonderful, he looked like he was so happy to be at our wedding with us. The photo booth was a hit, even my 93 year old grandma loved it. Richie on percussion added some extra fun to our night, not to mention the indoor sparklers for some picture perfect opportunities. At the end of the night when the crowd dispersed my new husband and I enjoyed a dance on the floor alone and I caught a smile on Richie’s face that told me he really loved what he did. I cannot recommend DJ Live enough and I wish we could live our wedding over again and again. Thank you!

ts from my guests about how amazing he was!!! I could not recommend DJ Live & Richie more for your event! Thank you so much!!!

entire reception from the introduction of the bride and groom through the final dance. We were so lucky that the Marina Del Rey suggested Richie. The service that Richie provided was Top rate and I feel like he became part of our family during the reception. When you are having a function it is imperative that you have the best music and with Richie that is what we got.

e music dictated and was perfectly in tune with the vibe the entire night, and when it was time to party they did not miss on a single song. When we had to adjust a few small details they handled it with ease. They were a major part of helping make our wedding day the best day of our life and we could not recommend any more highly!

re of your needs and focuses on exactly what YOU want for your special day. He makes sure he asks any questions you might miss, goes into each detail with exactly what you ask him, caters to you and your needs. Offers amazing suggestions and truly takes care of you. He is beyond thorough with each and every part of your wedding day. The timing of your music, your idea comes to life and even beyond that. Richie knows how to get the party started, but most importantly knows how to KEEP the party going. He adds special touches to truly make sure your day is magical. Also what’s amazing is that he is so in tune with not only the crowd but with the bride and groom. He makes sure we are beyond happy, stays in tune with you and keeps a timely manner so that we can get the party moving and not “waste time” on cake cutting etc. he reads the room so well and the flow of his entertainment is impeccable. You should look NO further when it comes to a DJ and entertainment. We also had him bring a saxophone player, Richie played the drums as well along with the dj booth. It was incredible. We did our ceremony on the beach and down to the detail he nailed it. He made sure it went beyond smooth. He communicates with all your vendors, knows every detail about your wedding so he can be precise and have all the cards right. We are beyond happy with Richie, and our guests were too. They all reached out to him already to book their events. We couldn’t have asked for a better night. It was truly because of him and his amazing team and vision. He cares deeply for what he does and makes sure you are so happy with your day and more. DJ Live is what and who you need in your party life, wedding life, and more. Outstanding job. We would go back and do it all again. Thank you Richie and your incredible team for this AMAZING experience for our wedding. Every song, entertainment piece and beyond was truly truly outstanding.
