DJ Lou Paris

seamless process. We really felt like our musical tastes were heard and taken into account - DJ Lou expertly blending them together. Our wedding guests RAVED about him. There was never a bad song or musical lull - we danced the night away!

friend and guide through the entire wedding planning process. When you’re getting married, you don’t realize how much you don’t know, but Lou was there every step of the way to help with decisions and ease our stress. His passion for being part of our special day was so genuine. His website and planning questionnaire were super user-friendly, which made organizing everything a breeze. He even referred us to the most amazing officiant, “Ope the Officiant”! Lou also offers incredible extras like a Photo Booth, which was a huge hit at our wedding. And let’s talk about his DJ skills — flawless. The transitions, the energy, the vibe — absolutely next level. Our guests are still raving about the music and how much fun they had. Lou Paris is the BEST of the BEST. Don’t wait — book him TODAY. You will NOT regret it!!!

send me this DJ so I can book him for my wedding” - “we’ve never seen you two as happy dancing as tonight” Just a few quotes my now-wife and I heard during our wedding. DJ Lou did an incredible job matching the mood of our wedding and keeping everyone, from wedding party to family friends to grandparents, dancing all night long. The ceremony was also perfectly, subtly mic’d so that everyone could hear the outdoor ceremony, and the cocktail hour and dinner music perfectly blended into the vibe of the evening.  And before the wedding, Lou was incredibly quick to communicate, cognizant of our needs, and willing to answer any questions we had.

10 recommend.

tart to finish, seamlessly blending the songs we loved with his own expert touch. He read the crowd perfectly and kept the dance floor packed all night long. The energy was nonstop, and it was everything we hoped for and more. He was professional, easy to work with, and genuinely fun to be around. If you’re looking for a DJ who knows how to make a party unforgettable, look no further. We can’t recommend him enough!

but also making sure we were okay and had moments to ourselves to breath and enjoy the night. I cant thank Lou enough for his phenomenal job and wonderful personality. He also saved us an audio recording of our ceremony and a list of all the music from the reception so we can relive the night. He's a tech wiz and has several meetings with you before the big day to make sure everything is perfect. He also went above and beyond when our reception was rained out, moving all his equipment inside and essentially setting up twice. I highly recommend his services.

ires and was willing to move and pivot with us with every curve ball we threw at him. We had eclectic song choices, toyed with the idea of an entirely on vinyl DJ set and even threw in the idea of an acoustic live performance. Lou loved all of the challenges and calmed our nerves as we worked through all of the logistics of the day. He’s also just great people and made sure that everyone had an amazing evening. You can’t go wrong with Lou. He’s just amazing.

exactly what we were envisioning. We used DJ Lou's microphones for the ceremony in addition to the venue's, which came in really handy because the venue's microphone broke mid-ceremony. DJ Lou seamlessly switched the audio and we didn't even know it had broken in the first place. DJ Lou kept the ceremony and reception on-time, he worked incredibly well with the venue employees, and the vibe when he was DJ'ing was impeccable. We'd recommend DJ Lou's services for anyone and everyone!

ng day just right, and I can't say enough about it! 12/10, will make your wedding the best!!!

to work with from the early planning meetings, where he went out of his way to get to know us and what we wanted for our wedding, to the wedding itself, where he absolutely CRUSHED every single second. He cared about every single detail: the audio quality of the ceremony itself, the timing of the reception, the vibe we wanted at cocktail hour/ dinner/ reception. He was always available to hop on a call and answer any questions we had, he gave us ample time to think through the music that would be most meaningful to us. He played all the songs we asked for, but the best part was he played songs we didn't even think to ask for - that ended up making the night. He worked seamlessly with the other vendors, and many even said "oh good, we love Lou" when we told them who our DJ was. He sent us a recap video a couple of days after the wedding, and reliving the magic of the dancefloor was almost as fun as the reception itself. Only warning that comes with hiring DJ Lou: you will be sore the next day. He plays non-stop bangers all night, and you WILL want to be on the dance floor for it all.

e set us up with our own timeline (an app that he created!), we had a follow-up meeting and then a week-of meeting! We felt so ready when the day came but were still so surprised about how much DJ Lou did for us. He was checking to see if we were okay, pulling us away to make sure we were eating, working with our other vendors so seamlessly- our ceremony musicians, our officiant, our family band, and our photographer! It made the reception a hit among all our guests! We can't recommend him enough!

free. At our wedding, our dance floor was packed the entire night! Thank you DJ Lou!

iginal DJ we had hired through a different company fell through less than three weeks before our wedding, Lou was recommended to us, and he stepped in seamlessly. With just two weeks of prep, he was able to deliver everything we could have asked for and more! He literally saved the day! Not only did he deliver high quality sound for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception but he provided the best music that kept our guests dancing all night long. Even with our short prep timeline, he made time for us with several calls to discuss our preferences and gave us the sound, announcements and music that we asked for. He’s organized, enthusiastic, professional and also just a heck of a nice guy! Throughout the night he would check-in on us to see if we needed anything and how he could make our night even better. He is able to lead the room with announcements and get people on the dance floor but also knows when to let the music speak for itself and doesn’t overtake the moment with too many announcements. He had an innate sense for reading the tone of the night that we wanted and delivered everything we could have hoped for. If we had to go back to 2022 we would love to have started with Lou as our original DJ, so do yourself a favor by hiring him now for your wedding or event!

fantastic communicator, listened to our vision attentively and helped us to achieve it, accommodated a wide range of musical tastes, and had great equipment. Additionally, DJ Lou went above and beyond to accommodate some unique quirks to our wedding. Specifically, we needed to properly mix a song to match the key of a friend who was singing us down the aisle, needed to find and strip down a Japanese song that was not easily found in music catalogues, and cater to a crowd that was a healthy mix of performing artists and muggles. DJ Lou handled all of these challenges and more for us skillfully and enthusiastically, and our wedding would not have been nearly as seamless and enjoyable as it was without him.

songs we wanted to play, what songs we didn't want to play, and asked a bunch of great questions that we didn't even think of! He even helped me get my shoes on! He was great at communicating with us, our event coordinator and our photographer to make sure the timing of everything was done seamlessly. Most important part is that he knew exactly the right volume for the music while we were eating and during cocktail hour so that our guests could talk to each other. Just as importantly, DJ Lou knew the procedure and schedule of the wedding and was a huge help in guiding us through the formal dances, speeches, cake cutting, etc... We made a ton of great decisions that lead to a great wedding, but DJ Lou was probably the best one! Thanks again, DJ Lou!!!

of his way to make sure everything is ready for your special day! Our wedding guests thought he was amazing just like we did! I highly recommend DJ for any occasion!!

lped us answer questions we had not thought to ask. I highly recommend hiring Lou for your wedding.

dding. DJ Lou went above and beyond his duty to really understand what we envisioned for our ceremony and reception. Then, when the special day came, he delivered the most epic experience, all while carrying a wonderful, calming, and uplifting energy. Leading up to and during our wedding we felt so supported by Lou, which meant a lot. We felt like we were in the best of hands from start to finish and he did nothing but confirm that the whole time. We're so thankful we were able to have him for our wedding. We couldn’t recommend him any more highly. Thank you DJ Lou!!

ach out to us and saying that he was the best wedding DJ they have seen. He catered to all music genres from classic country to edm and punk rock. His equipment was top notch and provided us with amazing sound for both the ceremony and reception. If you’re looking, just do yourself a favor and hire this man. He will help plan out all of the important details.

eeds! He has an incredible large knowledge of music and that really came through in our wedding since we had a very diverse crowd. Lou exceeded our expectations! He played everything we would have wanted and more. So many of our guests came to us praising the music. My husband and I wanted to make sure three things stood out in our wedding, food, drinks and music. We were so happy that Lou delivered on the music. Thank you Lou for everything and I could not recommend him more! You will not be disappointed.

e so grateful he did. He starts communication early and maintains communication consistently throughout the wedding process, has the greatest DJ equipment and technology, and knows how to keep everyone on the dance floor throughout the night! During the planning process, we were very impressed with DJ Lou’s client portal and the surveys he used to collect information to make sure our day is the best. We loved how much choice we had in selecting songs and sharing our input about certain genres. It was very helpful to be able to plan out and coordinate certain songs for specific moments, such as our entrance song and first dance song. You (and/or your wedding planner) will be able to chat through your day of itinerary with DJ Lou so he understands the plan for the day and how he can support the day with music, audio, and sound. It was his first time working at our venue, so he even came along for a venue tour with us to learn about the acoustics of the space and resolve any issues in advance of the big day. It was really helpful. DJ Lous also has the best equipment. His sound system and equipment are modern and clean looking. We loved the style of his DJ set up and added put some flowers around it, so it felt like it was incorporated into the decor for the day. He had fabulous wireless microphones and thin, sleek speakers/stereos, and provided tech support for speeches. He also set up really great uplighting to help with the ambiance of the dance floor, and this made all the difference. He has back ups on back ups of all of his equipment, so you will not need to worry about something going wrong on your big day. DJ Lou is very profssional and personable, providing the right amount of MCing for the evening. He helped get people to and from cocktail hour, shared important info with guests, and kept it light & fun all night. My favorite moment was when someone in the crowd started a "one more song" chant at the end of the night, and we all stayed for an encore. It was just delightful. He was the best and we can't recommend him enough. We truly loved working with DJ Lou. Look no further if you are looking for a wedding DJ!

ediately put us at ease. The care and expertise he puts into his work was so clear throughout the planning process and our wedding day. From ensuring the officiant and groom were properly mic-ed up, to timing the music just perfectly, to expertly mixing so many fun songs throughout the evening - we felt so lucky to have Lou guiding the way. He cares about the bigger picture AND the little details, which is such a special combination. We had so much fun thanks to the soundtrack and coordination Lou provided for our big day. Don’t hesitate to book him for yours!

in L.A. but had to have the wedding back home in NY). He did this by encouraging us to have a couple pre-planning sessions with him leading up to the date. On the day of, several of our friends and family members raved about how fun his set was, going so far as to say that it was the best music they'd ever heard at a wedding reception! He also gave us some helpful unsolicited advice around how to manage all the stress, anxiety, and excitement that came with planning our wedding. Many thanks to DJ Lou!

rofessionalism and FUN that is the DJ Paris Experience. As so many couples, we set out to plan an event that represented us with as much DIY flair as possible. Not only did Lou respect that vision, he rolled with us as it changed and evolved, right through the party itself. Lou builds a framework around you to give your event the structure it needs, (and all events do need at least *some*,) but builds it with enough flex to respond in real time to the energy your guests and you yourselves bring to the day. He was constantly moving, vibe checking every corner of the room, and adjusting accordingly while projecting the utmost calm and ease throughout the party. And, lest we forget, the equipment. Everything is absolutely top of the line. We were married in the middle of a field with no electricity- no problem. We were fitted with professional tour mics that let us speak without worrying about people being able to hear, and our processional songs wafted in as if the woods were singing them. Back under the tent, happy conversation worked in tandem with bumping tracks, a feat of sonic engineering that we still don’t quite understand. Lou worked in speeches totally seamlessly. His lighting seemed to emanate from the air itself and accented the florals perfectly. That’s it. We’re blissfully exhausted after the weekend, but could not wait to leave this testimony in the hopes that other couples/party planners will make the same decision we did.

ons that didn’t pertain to dj/music and he was so helpful. I wish I could recommend him a million times over because he truly took any anxiety about the music/ceremony/speeches and made them absolutely perfect!

n a professional way, that kept our wedding going. He gave us tips throughout the night and helped us have the wedding of our dreams. I highly recommend booking him for your event, you will not regret it. He is worth every penny.

confident that everything was in good hands and under control. He was proactive, organized, and professional, and made us breathe easier every time we spoke with him. Lou is a rare breed - he takes his role in your memorable day very seriously, but he doesn’t take himself too seriously. He’s an expert at what he does, and clearly enjoys it, but he was always approachable and ego-less, offering his advice when we needed it and always being incredibly responsive when we had a question for him. He makes sure your day is about you and not about him (which is more than I can say about a lot of other DJs I’ve seen!). We didn’t have a wedding planner but Lou was the closest to that - he truly was with us every step of the way, offering guidance on matters both inside and outside of his paid purview - in a manner that was above and beyond what we could have expected or hoped for. Most people that are about to get married haven’t planned a wedding before and likely won’t again and Lou was an absolute fount of knowledge and a reassuring presence. As for the event itself: Lou was totally self-sufficient, the set up was completely seamless and the song selection and pacing were absolutely immaculate. Lou had to set up equipment in three separate places day-of and we were none the wiser about all the work that went into that - he handled it entirely directly with the venue. Lou handled the audio and music for the ceremony in a forest grove that was without cell reception or WiFi. You could hear every word perfectly. He equipped our officiant with a hands-free microphone of the same model Beyonce used in her last tour! He also recorded the audio for us, then coordinated with our friend who video-ed the ceremony, so that we have a crystal clear, crisp recording of our ceremony, which was very personal and central to our day. We’ve already watched it many times and cannot imagine not having it to rewatch. We still get compliments on Lou’s reception set to this day, now 10 months removed from our wedding. We had told Lou how important a lively dance floor was to us - and boy did he deliver. Our dance floor was sensational. We’ve been to many weddings since ours that had a live band (pricey!) and a far inferior dance floor. We really loved how eclectic and unexpected the playlist was and so did everyone else (Avril, Bowling for Soup, Sum 41 - just classics that I wouldn't have thought of but were so fun to dance to). We get a kick out of looking back at the reception footage and seeing our friends and family all mixed in together singing their hearts out on the dance floor. Lou surprised us after with a little highlight reel video of the dance floor - above and beyond. The man truly loves music and it shows in every aspect of his craft. He took the time to truly understand our eclectic musical tastes and blend them seamlessly. We cannot recommend Lou strongly enough, and we offer him as an unsolicited suggestion at the very mention of a friend planning a wedding in the tri-state area. For the full service that he offers, Lou is an incredible deal.

and beyond (during the planning process) to ensure that everything is accounted for and considers all details that are essential to a wedding (or event). On the "day of," Lou was the perfect coordinator for every part of the ceremony, happy hour. We received so many compliments from friends and family for how beautiful our wedding was, how great the music was, and how smoothly it went... and we credit Lou for a lot of this. We highly recommend Lou and had an AMAZING experience working with him.

we definetely wanted to book him for our own wedding. He’s the best DJ we’ve ever seen and knew he was going to do an amazing job, and he did! He always made sure to read the room and kept the party flowing with what felt right. During a few parts of the reception, he helped “direct” the guests (ie. guiding our non jewish friends during the hora haha). Throughout the wedding planning process, he did Zoom calls with us where we discussed timeline info, our music tastes, and so much more. He took all this info and really captured who we are through the music for our day, and made it so incredibly fun!! We’re so grateful he was part of our day and happy to consider him our friend :) If you want a really spectacular wedding DJ, book him!

s and was very responsive to emails and messages. Anytime we wanted a meeting with Lou for even just a couple questions, he was always available! He has his own timeline with all the details needed that we never even thought of. On our wedding day, we had a dedicated coordinator, but Lou acted as a coordinator as well! He took charge of a lot of details like starting the ceremony, letting guests know what to do and where to go, and so much more. Most importantly, we also go many compliments on the music that was played. We did give Lou playlists in advance of things we liked, but left most of the dance music up to him. He read the crowd very well and played music we hadn't thought of but loved! We definitely recommend him, you won't be disappointed.

l of our ideas and the vision we had for our wedding day. Lou arrived hours before the ceremony to make sure all equipment was properly working, tested and ready to go. Our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were in 3 different areas of the venue, and Lou seamlessly coordinated all music by himself. When it came to the reception Lou took the night to another level, playing the best songs and making sure no one left the dance floor. He was able to incorporate all of our song requests and transitioned into songs smoothly. All of his technology was top of the line. Lou was both very professional and fun (he even let our guests sing karaoke for the last half hour of the wedding, which was awesome!). We definitely recommend using Lou for your next event, and we hope to work with him again in the future!

guests had a great day, and he did everything he could to make that happen. The schedule ran smoothly and the music selection was perfect. I would highly recommend Lou to anyone looking for a low-key, fun, and highly professional DJ.

gement system is excellent. He got everyone dancing during the reception and played the classic wedding hits along with our suggestions. Highly recommend!

ention was clear and his presence was so appreciated, very easy-going but got to the point! He stepped in when needed for organization that day and without him our wedding wouldn’t have been as awesome as it was! A truly phenomenal DJ, Thanks Lou!!

le. Little did we know at that point, we would have to move our wedding 2 times do to the pandemic! DJ Lou was with us every step of the way and never made us feel an additional layer of stress during the re-plans. Fast forward to our actual wedding day this past September at the Senate Garage - DJ Lou handled everything from the music to all the technical set-up needed for the ceremony and speeches. He partnered seamlessly with the videographers and even was able to help us with some last minute mood lighting. The combination of professionalism & authenticity set DJ Lou apart from other vendors.

ss than a month before our wedding and he took all the stress away. We decided a week before our wedding that we wanted to zoom the ceremony for guests who couldn't attend and Lou set it all up. All we had to do was share the zoom link with our friends and family and they were able to watch with great sound and video quality. The music for our reception was just what we wanted and he emcee'd the evening with ease, not one of those cheesy emcee's who thinks it's their time to show off their sand-up skills. Do yourselves a favor and hire DJ Lou for your wedding.

music for the reception in case we forgot with all the business of planning a wedding. He really took into account songs we requested and genres we said we liked. People told me they’ve never seen me dance as much as I did at my wedding, and the reason was that it felt like a personalized playlist with all songs I absolutely loved on it. People danced all night, and it was the most fun I’ve had in a really long time. He went as far as to check on us throughout the night and see if we needed drinks or anything else, which is absolutely not his job, but he went above and beyond to make us feel special. It was such a fun time!! Highly recommend his services!!

d to everything we envisioned for our day and just made it come to fruition. He put together an amazing playlist and the music of the night just captured exactly what we wanted. I am not a dancer but, I literally was on the floor all night because it was just hit after hit! Lou is such a great guy and he was one of our favorite vendors. Hiring Lou for our wedding was a no brainier, and SEVERAL guests came up to me during the night to say, "this DJ is amazing!" Music is such an important part of the wedding, and Lou exceeded all our expectations.

o make sure we were comfortable. He worked tremendously well with our other vendors to facilitate our big day. Highly recommend!

themselves the center of everything, where they talk over the music, and end up being a big distraction. Once we postponed our wedding due to COVID, I thought better of that decision and I'm so glad I did! As soon as I contacted Lou, he got back to me (I'm pretty sure within the hour!) and we immediately began to click. DJ Lou worked with us every step of the way to understand our vision for the event, our style and music tastes, and importantly for us, aspects of wedding reception that we liked and didn't like. Lou was incredibly attentive during the planning process and made it easy to schedule appointments to talk about our song choices and schedule of events for our wedding day. I don't think it ever took Lou more than a day to get back to us, and he kept us on target with our other wedding planning as he sent key update emails to us at intervals approaching our wedding date. Lou was always willing to set up additional meetings to discuss and encouraged us to come to him with ANY wedding questions we had even if it wasn't about the music. On our big day, Lou arrived to the venue incredibly early to set up. He partnered partnered with our caterers and photographers to ensure everything was perfect. He even saved the day when the guitarist who played our ceremony was struggling to get an electrical hookup right at our outdoor venue! During our reception, Lou had the party going from minute one. He helped to set the mood and made sure that the music reflected the flow of the evening, with softer music to lead into dinner and toasts and the party jams we requested to kick off the actual dancing. Lou is attentive to detail and created the perfect atmosphere for our reception. I am so glad that I changed my mind and went with Lou. He is awesome and you will have the best time if you choose him for your event!

ocess of switching dates very smooth! He always answered our emails promptly and was always on top of communicating with us about every detail. We never once had to worry about the planning process because he always kept us updated about where we were at in the timeline! On our wedding day, Lou communicated with us about everything before it happened so we were aware but also took care of everything so we never had to worry! Our friends and family had an amazing time on the dance floor all night and the photo booth was an absolute hit! We loved how great Lou was through this whole process and how on top of and organized he was with everything! We are forever thankful to him for making the day smooth and so much fun!

lp you coordinate your vendors and wedding timeline! He also was there to answer my many e-mails very quickly - something I definitely appreciated!

he took all the weight off our shoulders. And most importantly, he knows how to have a good time!
