DJ Cosme was our wedding DJ and he did an absolutely incredible job! He stayed in touch during the planning process through emails and a couple of scheduled zooms. He was so helpful when we were overwhelmed with the planning process and timeline of the day by providing suggestions on what’s worked well at other weddings and he truly helped take a large chunk of the stress we were feeling out of the planning process. After our second zoom and final details, I had zero doubt that he was going to be perfect. Day of when we sort of changed the plan on him at the very last second, he handled it like a pro. From the get go Cosme was quick to respond and very upfront about the services he provided and answering any questions we had. For us he was the easiest person to work with for our wedding. Our reception schedule had to get flipped last minute, but he was able to redo the schedule last minute and provide a smooth and excellent delivery. Music was great and he even got out in the dance floor to get the party going here and there. He is very thorough, and we’d recommend him to anyone, especially if they need a bilingual DJ.

Too long, didn’t read: DJ Maestro was a great DJ for our Mexican American wedding playing a variety of English and Spanish songs from a variety of genres. He did a great job announcing in both English and Spanish and worked so well with the Mexican band that we also had there. We are so appreciative of how well he kept the flow of our wedding going and keeping everyone on the dance floor! He also provides such professional music planning ahead of time. He is so responsive at all times pre-wedding and even the day of. We are so thankful for his service. We used DJ Maestro for our recent wedding in May 2024 and he did an exceptional job! As a Mexican American couple it was so important for us to find a DJ that could 1) translate in both English and Spanish throughout the reception and 2) most importantly provide a great dancing environment of both English and Spanish. We also were looking for someone who was comfortable working around us also having a Mexican band. Not only did he deliver on all of that he did even more. From the get go he responded back to my inquiry of services and set up a time that worked for us to meet via video call to discuss his packages. He was so thorough going through what he offers and explained the whole process to us but also gave time for us to give our input to really tailor his services to what we were looking for on our wedding day. We knew after that first meeting that he was right for us and we are so glad we chose him. He made planning the music and announcements for our wedding so easy with an editable google doc that he then walked us through a couple weeks before our wedding to make sure we had everything. He also provided some lightening for our venue that looked awesome. He did a wonderful job announcing our bridal party and our first dances in both English and Spanish. When we did different Mexican wedding staples like la vibora de la mar el muertito. We got so many compliments from our family especially our Spanish speaking family that they were so impressed by how he entertained and announced everything. He did it so professionally. He did not hesitate to nicely tell people to get out of the food line when it wasn’t time yet and he just did a great job running the show and helping us really keep our wedding on track. When things strayed from the timeline he checked in with us and was great at just going with the flow when things got changed on the fly. The music was great and he played a variety of both English and Spanish songs of all different genres and also worked very well with our band to play on and off. Our ‘dance’ songs went on flawlessly and he even let our young cousin ‘dj’ his own song which meant a lot to him. We received exceptional service by DJ maestro and wish we had another reason to have him DJ in the future! Thank you so much, DJ Maestro!

DJ Cosme was FANTASTIC!!!! with his recommended music and the music that we also requested to play! He also made my family in Colombia part of our wedding, Cosme connected my family with his online system and they were also able to be present, give their speech and participate in our wedding! DJ Cosme did a fantastic job at our wedding! He met with us over Zoom in advance and thoroughly explained over everything with us for the day of the wedding. We shared some songs we wanted to play and he added in similar songs based on our music taste. Everything went perfectly. He had such great energy and our dance floor was full for the entirety of the wedding. He even surprised us with a fun balloon release that we and all of our guests loved! He did a wonderful job helping make our day perfect and we would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a fun and very professional DJ!

DJ Cosme was a great fit for us right from the start! He helped explain all the musical opportunities in a wedding that we hadn't even considered, and worked to make sure as much of our niche music choices as possible made it into our wedding. He was really flexible with our unusual music requests. He was such a professional while working with our tight day-of timeline and he did an excellent job helping us select dancing music. Some personal favorite highlights included incorporating swing songs into our dancing music (we met swing dancing and our first dance was a swing song), and smoothly rewinding my favorite song so I could dance to the whole thing with my new husband (I was away from the dance floor when it started playing).

Cosme was our DJ and we could not have been happier with him! He was absolutely AMAZING! When we first met with him, he was SUPER organized. DJ Cosme was the best from setting up our songs for the ceremony through the reception. He played hit after hit including many songs that we requested from our playlist. We were connected to DJ Maestro/Cosme through DJs4You in Chicago. He was an absolute amazing and stellar DJ from the beginning of the planning process all the way through to the end of the party. He was incredibly personable, was happy to provide suggestions and gentle nudges with his years of experience, but really let us put together our song choices (and he used them!!), and respected the songs we didn't want him to play. His planning tools made the process incredibly accessible and welcoming. On the night of the wedding, he did an wonderful job of working the room and encouraging people to dance, helped guide the evening as an MC, and all-in-all we can't say enough nice things about working with him! It was a pleasure to work with DJ Maestro from beginning to end. During our initial meeting, he shared a preview of the questionnaire that he would have couples fill out in the lead up to the wedding. As I looked through it, it was clear that he tried to make the process as easy as possible for the couples he would work with. With so many other pieces my husband would need to organize, I appreciated his approach and knew I wanted to move forward with him. Even though he offers packages, they are flexible, and he is willing to swap in one service for another. We were able to add another hour to the package we ended up going with since we did not opt for a gobo—it was great to be able to keep the things we wanted and deprioritize the things we didn’t. In the lead up to the wedding, he was prompt in answering all the questions and emails I had. When we asked for his opinion related to the order of our initial timeline for the reception, he gave us his offered us several recommendations to consider. We appreciated his thoughts as someone who has been to so many weddings! As we got closer to the big day, we scheduled a time to meet again to go through all the details and it worked out that we could meet in person. This final meeting was super helpful to make sure we were giving him all he needed, that we could all ask questions of each other, and make sure we were all on the same page in terms of what my husband and I wanted. The day of the wedding, he showed up right on time. He handled all aspects of the day—ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Ceremony went off without a hitch! It was clear he coordinated with the officiant and photographers so that everyone knew where to be and what to do when each song began. He was even kind enough to offer us a second microphone at no cost for a reading our friends would be doing at ceremony—so very appreciated! After the cocktail hour, he helped us kick off the night with a salute to our parents, our grand entrance, first dance, speech and dinner. His recommendations for the order of the night ensured that everyone was in their seats when and that no one else was on the dance floor so we would be the focus. As far as the dancing goes – many of my guests mentioned how sore they were the next day because they had danced so much the night before. We had mostly given him our preferred genres that he should play versus an actual playlist (thought we did make some specific requests) and he delivered the energy based on what we gave him. We had advised we also wanted an hora loca – a high energy dance hour. While we had already ordered light up swag to hand out during this time, he surprised us with balloons for all our guests to help them get in a real.serious.dance mood. It was a fun and unexpected bonus that really took the party to another level! Our big day would not have been the same without DJ Maestro! He catered to all our musical tastes and that of our guests – from banda, to reggaeton, merengue, cumbia, hip hop and more. He was super helpful by sharing his expertise in the lead up to the big day and since he is bilingual, he could deliver important info in Spanish and English so all our guests felt included. When it was time to go, the send off he organized with the remaining guests was a sweet surprise and fun way to end the night. My husband and I are so happy we chose Cosme to be the DJ at our wedding last week. I don’t even know where to start with our experience with Cosme. He was absolutely amazing from start to finish. From our very first zoom call he impressed me. Everyone at our wedding couldn’t stop telling us how amazing he was and how much energy he brought. Cosme met with us several times to go over the schedule for our big day. came to our venue many hours before the reception time to setup and go over final details, and make sure he was set up and ready to go. During the reception, Cosme would discuss adjustments with us and waited for our approval. Where to start- We had a COVID wedding and had to push our original date and that was stressful enough. DJ Cosme helped us through that transition seamlessly. 100% recommended! DJ Cosme made our wedding on 9.10.2021  fun from start to finish as MC and DJ. A friend recommended DJs for You after her wedding, and when the DJ we first connected with wasn't available, he recommended DJ Cosme and we couldn't have been happier! Cosme was super accommodating when we had to push back our original September 2020 wedding to July 2021 due to Covid. The planning process with him was smooth, and we were in constant communication through phone, zoom or even text message. Cosme did everything for us, ceremony, cocktail hour and reception! We used DJ Cosme for our wedding DJ this past June. Cosme was extremely easy to work with every step of the way. He is also very funny- he had me laughing almost every time we interacted with him! This is the first DJ I have used that actually does what you want- we generated playlists for our cocktail hour and dinner music and he played everything we wanted. He is extremely professional while being personable at the same time. On our wedding day, he surprised us with a bunch of balloons out on the dance floor once the dance floor opened- and our guests loved it. He also organized us taking photos with each table of guests at our wedding last minute. We had several last minute changes and requests and Cosme handled them perfectly for us. Dj Cosme is the best!! We used him for our wedding and he made everything we wanted happen- and let me tell you, we had some strange requests! (At our ceremony our bridal party walked in to the piano version of trap queen by fetty wap). He never made us feel like we were asking for too much. He recommended the vitamin string quartet for dinner and it was a huge hit! Everyone loved guessing the songs playing! He had everyone on the dance floor the entire night. Couldn’t have asked for a better dj! We actually just attended a friends wedding this weekend and Dj Cosme was their dj too! He remembered our wedding from 2018 and even played our first dance! I honestly don't even know where to begin.... If it weren't for DJ Maestro, I can truthfully say that our wedding would have been an utter disaster! We originally reached out to him solely to MC our wedding, but once we met with him ad he presented an entire spreadsheet to us, we though "Oh goodness... this guy just made us realize how unprepared and unorganized we are". So we called him back and hired him to DJ our wedding. From his organization, to his 'hypeness' (as the cool kids say), and his dedication and attentiveness to us, DJ Maestro easily made the wedding as amazing as it was. Nothing went by him unless he ran it by us first and that was extremely meaningful and important to us, since we had many unruly and difficult guests. DJ Maestro was absolutely amazing. Our wedding was postponed a year because of the pandemic and I of course was a little stressed. He met up with us before the first date and continued to help us through the date change and other little details. Deciding on a DJ was something that very much stressed me out but DJ Maestro made everything so easy and our day was fantastic. We were originally supposed to get married in November but due to the pandemic we had to reschedule to a later date. When rescheduling to our new date we found out that our previous DJ we had hired would not be available and we were devastated. We were then recommended to DJ Cosme and we were not disappointed at all! He was so easy to work with and accommodating with our busy schedules. All our reception details were laid out to exactly what we wanted and the night went flawless (which can never be said for a wedding). DJ Cosme also spoke spanish which helped when communicating with my in laws.
