As a Mexican American couple it was so important for us to find a DJ that could 1) translate in both English and Spanish throughout the reception and 2) most importantly provide a great dancing environment of both English and Spanish. We also were looking for someone who was comfortable working around us also having a Mexican band. Not only did he deliver on all of that he did even more. From the get go he responded back to my inquiry of services and set up a time that worked for us to meet via video call to discuss his packages. He was so thorough going through what he offers and explained the whole process to us but also gave time for us to give our input to really tailor his services to what we were looking for on our wedding day. We knew after that first meeting that he was right for us and we are so glad we chose him. He made planning the music and announcements for our wedding so easy with an editable google doc that he then walked us through a couple weeks before our wedding to make sure we had everything. He also provided some lightening for our venue that looked awesome. He did a wonderful job announcing our bridal party and our first dances in both English and Spanish. When we did different Mexican wedding staples like la vibora de la mar el muertito. We got so many compliments from our family especially our Spanish speaking family that they were so impressed by how he entertained and announced everything. He did it so professionally. He did not hesitate to nicely tell people to get out of the food line when it wasn’t time yet and he just did a great job running the show and helping us really keep our wedding on track. When things strayed from the timeline he checked in with us and was great at just going with the flow when things got changed on the fly. The music was great and he played a variety of both English and Spanish songs of all different genres and also worked very well with our band to play on and off. Our ‘dance’ songs went on flawlessly and he even let our young cousin ‘dj’ his own song which meant a lot to him. We received exceptional service by DJ maestro and wish we had another reason to have him DJ in the future! Thank you so much, DJ Maestro!

From our very first meeting with Cosme, it was clear that he was extremely organized and we felt very confident that he would be able to steer the ship at our wedding. With so many other pieces my husband would need to organize, I appreciated his approach and knew I wanted to move forward with him. Even though he offers packages, they are flexible, and he is willing to swap in one service for another. We were able to add another hour to the package we ended up going with since we did not opt for a gobo—it was great to be able to keep the things we wanted and deprioritize the things we didn’t. In the lead up to the wedding, he was prompt in answering all the questions and emails I had. When we asked for his opinion related to the order of our initial timeline for the reception, he gave us his offered us several recommendations to consider. We appreciated his thoughts as someone who has been to so many weddings! As we got closer to the big day, we scheduled a time to meet again to go through all the details and it worked out that we could meet in person. This final meeting was super helpful to make sure we were giving him all he needed, that we could all ask questions of each other, and make sure we were all on the same page in terms of what my husband and I wanted. The day of the wedding, he showed up right on time. He handled all aspects of the day—ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Ceremony went off without a hitch! It was clear he coordinated with the officiant and photographers so that everyone knew where to be and what to do when each song began. He was even kind enough to offer us a second microphone at no cost for a reading our friends would be doing at ceremony—so very appreciated! After the cocktail hour, he helped us kick off the night with a salute to our parents, our grand entrance, first dance, speech and dinner. His recommendations for the order of the night ensured that everyone was in their seats when and that no one else was on the dance floor so we would be the focus. As far as the dancing goes – many of my guests mentioned how sore they were the next day because they had danced so much the night before. We had mostly given him our preferred genres that he should play versus an actual playlist (thought we did make some specific requests) and he delivered the energy based on what we gave him. We had advised we also wanted an hora loca – a high energy dance hour. While we had already ordered light up swag to hand out during this time, he surprised us with balloons for all our guests to help them get in a real.serious.dance mood. It was a fun and unexpected bonus that really took the party to another level! Our big day would not have been the same without DJ Maestro! He catered to all our musical tastes and that of our guests – from banda, to reggaeton, merengue, cumbia, hip hop and more. He was super helpful by sharing his expertise in the lead up to the big day and since he is bilingual, he could deliver important info in Spanish and English so all our guests felt included. When it was time to go, the send off he organized with the remaining guests was a sweet surprise and fun way to end the night. Trust DJ Maestro with your wedding and special event entertainment and music needs…he will absolutely deliver.
