We used DJ Masquerade at our wedding Nov 2019. We worked directly with Ernest and it was an absolute breeze. He was very professional and excellent at getting back to us whenever we had a question or concern. He played just about every song that we had pre-picked and a bunch of songs that wedding guest requested the day of! He made sure to mix it up and keep everyone dancing. His announcements were perfect and clear. Not too cheesy and definitely not too serious! I wouldn't change a single thing. DJ Masquerade exceeded our expectations and made the night so much fun.

We had the pleasure of working with DJ Masquerade for our wedding in June 2019. We worked directly with Ernest during the planning process. He was very responsive during all communication leading up to the wedding date. He is extremely easy to work with, and he makes sure to make your requests his priority. Roger was our DJ the day of the wedding and he did an excellent job in providing music for the cocktail hour, audio during the ceremony, and a fun playlist that kept everyone dancing during the ceremony. Excellent service and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Don't waste your money with this company. After paying all of our money up front they asked us to complete our song list/preferences, so we did exactly what they asked of us. The only song they played from the questionnaire was our first dance. Xavier was a terrible Dj. I, the bride requested one song personally, and it took my cousin finally putting his foot down for him to play it. He repeated the cupid shuffle and the ridiculous wobble song four times a piece and we only paid him to be there six hours. He also casually mentioned to my husband that he might have to leave because he had gotten a call before our wedding about another higher paying gig that he "Should have went to" From the time we paid this company until our wedding day we hadn't heard from anyone about the service they'd be giving us, we trusted that they knew what they were doing. If we had to do it all over again we would have saved our money and played our music from an iPod.

Wow! Ernest did a great job as our DJ. A few days before our wedding, I decided I wanted to sing part of our first dance to my husband on my guitar, but we were missing a few pieces of equipment. Ernest quickly reassured me I didn’t need to worry about anything... that he would take care of it entirely and that I just needed to relax and focus on being calm for my wedding day. He asked for a playlist prior to the wedding day to make sure the songs we wanted to play were played. He was very accommodating to our guests as well, making sure songs were played to engage the crowd. We had a photo booth which was a huge hit! The up lights he provides added a really nice touch :) hands down the best DJ we could have asked for! We are so thankful he helped make our wedding night a huge party for us and our guests and a night to remember!

I had a New Year's Eve wedding so it was super important to me to have a great DJ, and I'm so glad I went with DJ Masquerade! Ernest did a great job with the playlist, many people are still telling me how great the song selection was and how quick he was to play requests! He timed all the entrance songs perfectly, had people dancing all night long, and did a New Year's countdown for us! The photo booth was also very nice and people had so much fun with it! Cannot beat the price either!

Roger was the DJ at our wedding & he did a fabulous job. He called prior to the wedding date to ensure he had all the pronunciations correct & to go over our itinerary for the day. Ernest, is who my husband worked with when we booked and he was great too. This company definitely knows how to have great customer service and provide a great variety of music.

Ernest did a wonderful job at our July 2017 dinner reception as DJ! He had guests who usually do not dance on the dance floor after dinner. Ernest did exactly what we requested. He arrived on time and was professional.

Immediately after the wedding we got nothing but compliments about our DJ, and how amazing Ed did at reading the crowd and keeping us on the dance floor all night long. Ernest did a fantastic job at our reception. We had shared our music preferences in advance, and he played all the right types of songs. He was very good at reading the crowd and the mood of the guests, so the dance floor always had people on it. We didn't ask for any special lighting, but the lighting he brought with him was perfect for setting an upbeat, fun, dance floor feel. I highly recommend Ernest's company!

Ernest showed up personally for our wedding and our guests really enjoyed the music and danced for quite awhile. It was a tough crowd considering we had people from all over with different tastes for music, but we had a blast.

Absolutely loved Ernest! When we initially met him, we knew we didn't have to talk to any other djs. He was our guy! He did a great Job keeping in touch with us and asking for recommendations. My biggest concern was that people wouldn't get up and dance but there wasn't a moment the dance floor didn't have people on it!!!! We had so much fun because of Ernest! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Ernest was highly recommended to us by our wedding planner, and he did not let us down! He was so kind and helpful during the whole process that it was obvious wanted us to have the wedding of our dreams. The music planning sheet he gave us allowed us to choose a few examples of the style of music we were going for, and he did such a wonderful job during the reception! Ernest had everyone out on the dance floor, and our guests had a blast. He also provided lighting, which was beautiful and a photo booth that everyone had fun with. Ernest is a caring person and amazing DJ, and we are so glad we chose him!

Our DJ was amazing! We booked our DJ kind of late in the game, and were figuring out our music the day of the wedding, but DJ Masquerade was able to pull everything off on such short notice. They have a huge variety of music, and there were constantly people on the dance floor. Everyone really enjoyed it. :)

We hired Ernest for our January wedding. From the beginning, he was in contact with my wedding planner & myself concerning the music, timeline and kept me in the loop if he didn't receive the information he needed. DJ Masquerade did a great job coordinating with the venue & arrived hours early to make sure everything was in place. DJ Masquerade had our guest dancing all evening. We was very happy with the music and lights! He helped us create a night that we'll never forget! He is a great DJ and I highly recommend him for your weddings. Thank you Ernest!

Was really excited about getting this guy because I heard great things from several people. Was a little disappointed with the fact that he did not stick with our song list. Everything was great when dinner music staryed...but the dancing was not current...it was your typical old wedding songs. Just wasn't our style. But ipside is the pricing for his packages. If you're looking for great prices with an ok dj. He is your man. I just wish we wouldve shopped around a little more

Due to particular reasons, I had to arrange musical entertainment for my reception two months before my wedding. It also had to be done from out of state. Neither turned out to be a problem. Ernest was excellent at arranging the details and his associate DJ JJ Rodriguez handled the reception brilliantly. I met him just before the reception began and was pleased at how intuitive he was at reading the crowd. The dance floor was never empty. All the songs I wanted played were played. I received compliments about the music (I can only receive credit for a fraction of all the songs played) and on the DJ himself. Everybody really liked how he worked and he had a great rapport with both my family and my husbands. Thank you so much for such a wonderful evening!

The service we got from DJ Masquerade was mostly good. They did "lose" our information the day before the wedding, and we had to scramble a bit. They also didn't cue our processional and recessional songs exactly right, but it worked okay. They did do a great job of keeping the flow through dinner and the reception - cueing the dances and cake and toasts, etc. And our DJ (Robert) did a great job of feeling the crowd and picking music that everyone enjoyed.

I highly do not recommend this DJ company. We worked with one guy throughout the whole planning process and things went just fine up until the day of the wedding when we had a DJ we had never met before show up. He had no knowledge about our wedding, was very boring, forgot the mother/son dance, forgot the cake cutting announcement and the list goes on. We did get out deposit back, but that's only because all the things that went wrong. So stay away!!!

I am sure Ernest is a wonderful DJ, but we will never know because after agreeing to book him after meeting with him at our venue in San Antonio, then following up 3 times the next week for him to send the revised contract, we still have not seen the contract or heard from him again. Luckily we had an amazing back up in Houston and have booked him but we were hoping to find someone local in San Antonio. Really liked Ernest as a person but disappointed in the lack of professionalism.

Ernest was our one and only choice for our DJ - we had heard nothing but wonderful things about him and we are thrilled with our choice. He provided the music for our ceremony and reception and did a wonderful job. He played all the songs we wanted and some we didn't even know we wanted! He is nothing but professional and does whatever he can to make the event special.

The DJ we interviewed had to call off emergently the night of our reception, though I was glad to have a DJ he was horrid. He had no idea how to keep the flow with varied tempted music. We lost a lot of people for the night because they felt it was a workout class not a dance. He did not play the type of music we wanted and kept disappearing so we could not even do requests. He ended the night with a Zac Brown Band song called Nothing, the reframe goes" now I sleep like a baby, because all my dreams come true, because for the rest of my life has nothing to do with you" seriously at a wedding reception!

Ernest and Robert did an amazing job. We told them what kind of music we did and didn't like, and they played all our favorite songs - even ones we didn't think of! They have every song. Robert was an excellent MC at our wedding. He wore a tux and was super nice and personable. You cannot go wrong with these guys.

DJ Masquerade was recommended to us by our reception hall, and we went ahead and booked them without reading any reviews. Greg was our DJ and he was FANTASTIC! He did a great job playing the music that we requested as well as filling in with music that was also very good. He was outgoing without being overbearing and he allowed us to have an overall good time. I would recommend DJ Masquerade to anyone looking for good entertainment at a good price. ASK FOR GREG!

DJ Masquerade was very easy to work with. I never had to meet with them but rather sent a summary of ourselves as bride and groom and our wedding. I listed songs I wanted played, even down to the hour in some cases and they filled in the rest of the time perfectly. I did not have much time to plan the wedding and they were perfect about not needing time yet performing right on queue.

The music was one of the most important things for my husband and I. We know that it sets the tone for the wedding, and we wanted everyone to have a fun time. We didn't want cheesy wedding music or any crazy "fist pumping" music so we made a list of tons of songs for him to play. He played most of them, plus some other great songs that fit our style. We told him exactly when we wanted to do certain things, and he even double checked with us right before with things such as the bouquet toss, cake cutting, toasts, etc. My cousin grew up in the era of break dancing (80's) and I haven't seen him do some of the moves he busted out with at our wedding since his own wedding about 10 years ago! Everyone had a great time! There was music for everyone there!

My now cousin-in-laws used Masquerade for their wedding reception and my husband and I had a blast and knew this is who we wanted. We booked with Ernest and filled out the form dictating what types of music we wanted played, etc. On our wedding day at our reception I have to say that while I danced and my guests danced I was disappointed overall with the music played. I don't know if it was the way we selected percentages that was the problem or the mix of music. That's why I didn't rate them lower, Ernest himself is a great person and when songs were requested by myself or the wedding party he played them pronto. I can't say I didn't have fun I just wish more of my favorites would have been played. Looking back I would have made a detailed list of songs and gone from there and he is flexible and would not have minded in the least.

i'm not sure how much my mom manipulated things but we didnt hear the music we wanted at the cocktail hour and we didnt ask for the bridal party dance...but ernesto did keep the music going and everyone had a good time
