This option features unlimited reception hours, professional DJ equipment, and wireless microphones for your most sincere wedding toasts. Alternatively, the Ceremony + Reception Package includes an additional acoustic rendition for your much-anticipated ceremony. If you choose the VIP Package, you'll receive a live acoustic guitar performance during cocktail hours and dinner.

Mike did an amazing job at our wedding at the MN Landscape Arboretum. He played acoustic guitar for our ceremony and he absolutely nailed it -- he even learned our recessional song a few days before the wedding! He did a fantastic job emceeing during our cocktail hour/dinner and kept everything moving at a good pace throughout the evening. We heard nothing but positive comments about him from our guests!
We really appreciated the survey that Mike had us fill out, which included many detailed questions about what types of music we wanted to hear during each portion of the evening, what songs we wanted to be played during the ceremony, who was giving speeches, etc. It gave us a lot to think about that we hadn’t initially considered! Mike referred back to our survey responses during a brief phone check-in we had with him before our wedding, which was awesome!
Mike is very kind, professional, and detail-oriented, he responds to emails quickly, and is very well-versed in running a wedding reception! And, of course, he is extremely talented. We are so happy that we chose Mike as our DJ and would highly recommend him!
We had such a great experience with Mike as our wedding DJ! He played great music all night long which kept guests dancing until the very end of the night. He asked for any song and genre suggestions we had ahead of time, and worked with our other vendors to make sure the day ran smoothly. He also played guitar during our cocktail hour, and guests are still talking about how great it was a month later! Mike was well prepared, organized, flexible, friendly, and so easy to work with. His communication was great, and he checked in with us several times before the big day. We can’t recommend him enough!

Mike was everything we could have hoped for in a wedding DJ- thorough during the planning process, quick to respond to questions, and attentive on the big day. Our venue coordinator was also very impressed with his professionalism as well.

My husband and I are so glad we hired Mike Hongslo to play the music for our wedding in September 2023. We didn’t have the venue space for DJ-ing services, so instead, Mike played acoustic guitar as we walked down the aisle. The live music was so special and beautiful. Mike is professional and responsive. He has so much performance experience. Hiring him made us feel at ease because he knows what he’s doing. If I have another event like this in the future, I will call Mike. He helped make the big day that much more special!
Mike played guitar for our wedding ceremony in August 2022. He was well-prepared, rehearsed, and made the day perfect for us, our families, and our guests. Prior to our wedding day, we met with Mike and asked him to learn some specific songs. He learned and rehearsed the songs prior to our day and executed them perfectly!
Mike showed up on time, brought all of his own equipment, and coordinated with the other vendors to ensure our ceremony ran as smoothly as possible. Despite the stress of wedding planning, working with Mike was stress-free and easy! He kept us well-assured and created the perfect musical ambiance for us to relax and enjoy our day!
Mike was everything we could ask for in a DJ and more! We were worried that with our mixed ages of guests, we would struggle finding music that everyone liked. Mike went above and beyond in both his music selection and as an MC- the dance floor was never empty the entire reception, he made sure to announce everyone’s names correctly and in order, and he truly kept the party alive when other DJ’s might have just let a “dud” music song clear out the room.
He also checked in with us prior to the wedding to ask about our music selection, which really gave us peace of mind. Our guests raved about him, and we would absolutely recommend him for future events! Thank you Mike!
Mike is an excellent and knowledgeable DJ. He does way more than play music, helping with every aspect of the day. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone invested in making your day perfect.
Mike was so kind and easy throughout the entire process. He showed up promptly with his own equipment and we received COUNTLESS compliments on the playlist that kept the dance floor busy until the last minute. He kept us on schedule as the perfect emcee that allowed us to stay calm knowing everything was taken care of throughout the whole day. Could not recommend him enough, thank you Mike!
Mike is awesome!!! We highly recommend him. We used Mike for our wedding and he was very prepared and organized. He set up for both the ceremony and reception with little input. He kept our day on track and the best part is he kept our dance floor full with people dancing all night! At no point was the dance floor empty which we loved to see!! If you need a DJ for your event, you should definitely book Mike!!!
