DJ Mike Janedy

DJ Mike Janedy was awesome! Being a covid couple, it was already stressful enough but Mike made it so easy to know that we did not have to worry about anything. He met with us to discuss the way he does his weddings in terms of flow and music ideas for different parts of the night and let me tell you, it was perfect! He was flexible, understanding and always open to answering our questions. I personally had not picked out dinner music or cocktail hour music but Mike told us not to worry about it, he had that under control. And when I tell you he can read a room to know what music to put on next, he certainly did! If you are looking for an easy going DJ along with monograms, up lighting and photo booth all in one, Mike is your guy!

Mike was the DJ for our wedding and I would highly recommend him to anyone. He was great meeting us ahead of the wedding to walk us through everything and was the best on our wedding day. I even got a compliment from more than one guest that it was the best selection of music at any wedding they had been too. As soon as people started dancing, they didn't stop until the reception was over!

Mike was awesome. He DJ'd our wedding of ~150 people (including lots of big partiers) and crushed it. He offers an online portal where you can link Spotify playlists, add details about which songs to play when, etc. As someone who really wanted to choose all of my own wedding reception music, I really appreciated that he stuck to my list to the T, with the exception of only 3 songs I noticed weren't on it.... all of which were perfect for the moment, and I just hadn't thought of them. Highly recommended.

Mike was the dj for my wedding two weeks ago and was absolutely amazing! He met with us prior to the wedding to go over details and made everything so easy. We were able to contact him with any questions or new music for our wedding at anytime and he was very helpful! We used the photo booth and up lighting and would highly recommend it! The photo booth was a fun touch and we loved seeing all the pictures after. The up lighting looked so nice in our pictures as well! The day of the wedding he had everyone on the dance floor til the end and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a fun entertaining dj!

Mike was a DJ for our wedding, and I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants a reliable yet fun DJ. Mike was very professional; he has a personalized website and answered any questions we had. He made his service more personal than just signing a contract and giving a check. He met up with us multiple times in order to get the playlist right. Right before the wedding, he pulled me aside and asked about name pronunciation which showed me he cared about doing a great job. During the wedding he stuck to our suggestions of music and also was very entertaining. He took care of the intros of the bridal party and also made sure the music was done right. He also mixed and customized songs for us. If you want a DJ or professional you can count on, I would go with Mike.

Mike was the DJ at our wedding last week and we can’t say enough great things about him! We gave him very little direction (we were not a well prepared couple) but he ran with it and made our night perfect. We have a dancing family which Mike recognized right away and made every free moment a dance floor opportunity, our guests loved him! He was also very easy to communicate with, super friendly and always smiling! Thank you mike!

Mike was absolutely amazing. His online planning system is easy to use and helps keep you organized. Mike is great to work with, always gets right back to you. I even had changes 24 hours before the wedding and he was so helpful and had no problem doing it. If you want a vendor that you don’t need to worry about definitely hire Mike!!

Mike Janedy is the best! We were lucky to get him for our wedding!! His extensive experience, warm and fun personality and natural talent as a DJ all make him an amazing choice for any wedding! He was wonderful and very fun to work with, is open to anything, will give honest and amazing advice and generally was so awesome! He really got our vibe and style of the wedding and us as people. The way he works with clients is so seamless. He walks the perfect line of guiding the ceremony and reception in the best way, while not taking over and talking a lot! He was really able to take the wheel, and rarely came on the mic and allowed people to dance! He also hooked up a projector and wrote our name in sparkles- which looked SO awesome! We have gotten so much amazing feedback about our wedding, people loved it- and Mike had so much to do with that! The guests LOVED the music and adored him! I also want to say his photo booth is amazing! He has dozens and dozens of props and backgrounds! The guests LOVED the whole system he has- and I’ve never seen anything like it! It was so well functioning and beautiful! He also gives a strip to EVERY person in a group photo AND creates a scrapbook for the couple. On top of that, he gives a flash drive with the individual jpgs and the strips- which is SO fun on social media after the wedding! Honestly, I feel so fortunate that we got to work with Mike, and we were so lucky to find him! I give him my HIGHEST recommendation! If you’re looking for your wedding DJ- definitely book him!

Mike was the DJ at a wedding we attended and he played such great music, we knew we’d be using him! As soon as we booked our date, we reached out to Mike and booked him. Mike came to our house to meet with us and talk about the different packages he offers and how his client portal works. I emailed Mike telling him that my dad and I would be doing a slow song and then transitioning into a fast song and he made the mix of the song for us that was absolutely perfect! He also made the mother/son dance song shorter, but it was such a seamless splice you’d never even know. About a month before the wedding he came to the house again to meet with us to go over pronunciation of all the names, songs we picked, music we didn’t want played, and the timeline. Mike played great music and anytime I went up to ask him to play a specific song next, he did. He was great at reading the room and playing the right songs to keep everyone dancing. The dance floor was full all night and everyone is still telling us how great the music was. I highly recommend him!

IF you want people on the dance floor look no further mike has a great mix to being everyone on the floor and every age range every transition was smooth and his website is so easy to work with. Mike is a legend! He was my DJ at my wedding on October 27th, and people didn't leave the dance floor all night! I told him that I wanted a really upbeat wedding with lots of dancing. I have been to weddings where you don't start dancing until the end of the night (after introductions, speeches, dinner, cake cutting, parent daces, ect) and then you're so tired. He was able to perfectly schedule songs in between introductions, dinner, parent dances, ect so that people were having fun the whole night. He is great with sticking with any requests and he will not play songs or genres that you don't want. I have seen DJ reviews where the couple complained that their DJ played songs or a type of music they didn't want. Mike really cares and wants your day to be perfect. In my opinion, the crowd and the music are the best part of any wedding. The people you were with and the dancing is what you'll always remember. Aside from being an expert in reading the crowd and keeping the dance floor packed, he's a really nice and funny guy. You absolutely will not regret going with Mike. We are so happy to have had him!!!

We got married on October 7, 2018. It was the best night of our lives Mike was amazing ! Beside his excellence music choices ( we didn’t get off the dance floor all night ) his personality is what really sells him . He is kind , funny , calming and understanding . He has such a great way of reading people and knowing what we wanted even if we weren’t able to voice that to him ! He communicated and worked well with our families , our venue and even our photographers to get a help shot! Everything ran smoothly thanks to him ! I would highly recommend Mike

On Friday, August 17, 2018 my husband and I were married at Lakeview Pavilion in Foxborough, MA. I had known Mike from The Charlie Horse (now Barrett’s Ale House) in Bridgewater where he was the DJ for country night. Mike was very personable and fun to work with. He has a computer system where you drag and drop in all of your songs to create an awesome playlist for your wedding and outline your announcement list. Mike was able to play music outside for our ceremony and supply microphones for our officiant and readers. Mike got everyone up on the dance floor after dinner and kept everyone up there the entire night, which was exactly what we wanted! He even brought video equipment for our best man who played a video during his speech, a complete surprise to us! If you want people out on the dance floor at your wedding and a vendor easy to work with we highly recommend Mike!

The photo booth was a great add on to our wedding, not only for the memorabilia but for a crowd pleaser. Mike was great to work with and everything ran great throughout the night with no issues. Mike also did the uplighting for the venue, which came out unreal and I can’t wait to see the photos. Mike did our wedding this past weekend and my phone hasn't stopped ringing from people telling me how much fun they had. We had a huge dance floor but you wouldn't know it based on the fact that no one left the dance floor. He was able to find every song I asked for and he was even able to round up my family for the photographer. The music was perfect and his timing was impeccable and he even kept me on schedule. He was a dream to work with and made the planning process so easy.

Mike was the DJ at our wedding in September. The music was awesome in the songs he picked complemented our songs really well. His experience shows when dealing with people requesting songs on the do not playlist as well as having a back up plan for first dance issues. He's great to deal with and drove an hour in rush-hour for a 15 minute meeting at our house twice. He's a great guy and was by far our favorite vendor to work with.

Mike is by far the best DJ there is! We used him for our 5.14.17 wedding and the guests are still raving about what a great time they had and how much they enjoyed the music selection. He is the ultimate professional and was very helpful with every part of the day, from planning to ceremony and through the entire reception. I would absolutely recommend him to everyone!

Mike Janedy is easily the best DJ around! We used him for my sister's wedding last year and I had to have him back to do mine. He really takes the time to know his clients and make sure that the songs and his interaction with you guests are 100% you. When I tell you no one got off the dance floor from the time the music started until the wedding was over I mean it. It was one great hit after another! One of the best features was his online booking & playlist creation. It makes it so easy to go through and pick songs to play. I will say we didn't even request the maximum amount of songs, we picked a bunch that was us and had him use his creativity to fill in the rest and it was awesome!

Mike did a fantastic job dj-ing our wedding! His website and online forms made planning very easy. He was very flexible in meeting time and location, and has a great personality. He did a fantastic job at keeping people on the dance floor with upbeat tunes, and was respectful of our no play list. We had a blast!

Mike DJed our wedding and he was awesome! He definitely has the background and experience to keep a party going. I had been to two other family weddings before where he was the DJ, and every time he knows just what songs will get kids, parents, and older adults out dancing and having a great time. We got stuck outside doing pictures during some of the best songs but the last hour was so much fun, and he was really efficient in working with our site managers to keep the whole reception flowing easily from one thing to the next. A great guy - would definitely recommend.

Mike was wonderful. He came to our house for an initial meeting as well as a final meeting to discuss the music as well as the ceremony and order of events. Mike did the music for the whole day. Some of the music that we requested for cocktail hour was music he had to get but was great about making sure it was played and many guests complemented on the playlist. The ceremony was great as he provided us with different songs throughout each section and provided mics for the JP and speakers. People couldn't stay off the dance floor we even had Nana dancing all night.

Mike Janedy is quite literally the best DJ ever!!! He was the DJ at our wedding at the end of August, and my husband and I have been told over and over from our friends and family how absolutely phenomenal he was!!! From the very beginning, Mike was so personable and so easy to work with. He was clear from the start that his mission at the wedding was to make sure that everyone was out on the dance floor having a great time - and wow, did he deliver!!! Nearly everyone in our entire wedding was out on the dance floor BEFORE the salads were served, and the dancing was so great, that no one wanted to go sit down for dinner!! He made the process so easy from start to finish, with a terrific website that makes it so simple to select songs for must play and do NOT play lists, to make the selections for the first dance and parent dances, and any other special selections or dedications you may want. He also doesn't do any gimmicky things (which we didn't want) - he just read the crowd, played terrific music, and got everyone up dancing all night!! He was also wonderful doing the wedding party intros, as well as the introductions for the toasts, and he worked with our photographer to have some group photos done out on the dance floor early on to make sure we got all of the photos we wanted. Mike was absolutely fantastic, and both my husband and I, as well as all of our guests, thought he was the best DJ we had ever had at a wedding!! I could not give him a higher recommendation!! You will be lucky to have him be a part of your wedding!!

We got raves during and after our wedding about how great our DJ was. Mike was clearly skilled at working with couples (who had no idea what they wanted) and navigating a highly energetic wedding crowd. We decided on a photo booth at the last minute and he pulled through with the best set of props I've ever seen. Totally worth it. Would recommend him again in a heartbeat.

Mike is an amazing DJ! He is responsive and professional, but also an easy-going, down to earth guy. He has been a DJ for a long time, and it shows. He knows what he is doing! He took the time to meet with my husband and me before the wedding, which was great! He incorporated all of my special requests. Plus, his online planning portal was so convenient. The dance floor was packed all night. He knew just what to play to keep the party going and we did not stop dancing… all night. The goal was to please a crowd ranging from 20-80 years old, and he did JUST that. He understood our musical vision, and delivered. Your DJ can seriously make or break a wedding, so chose wisely! You will be happy with Mike!

When choosing my vendors for my wedding, there was never a question regarding who I would have as my DJ. My husband and I met with Mike at the beginning of our planning stage and were sold immediately! Mike was responsive and helped us create a personal feel for our guests during both the ceremony and the reception. His website has an interactive piece, which I loved, where you can list and organize the music you want (and don't want) to hear. He provided a beautiful DOJO light with our names, and even helped me coordinate a surprise for my groom - playing a song that I had written for him. Mike kept the crowd on the dance floor and accommodated my requests, along with those of our guests. I couldn't have asked for more! We also rented a Photo Booth through Mike and it was a blast! Our guests had so much fun and the book he provided with the photo strips inside was such a cool memento to have! Before I got married Mike was always the first DJ I would recommend, and that hasn't changed! Highly recommend!!

When my husband and I got engaged - one of the first things we did was make sure we had Mike as our DJ. We have been to many weddings and he really is the best out there. It's been 3 weeks and people are still asking us who our DJ was and if they could have a copy of his playlist. Mike's website made the planning process extremely easy and when we met with him before the wedding we were confident that he would take care of anything we may have missed. His choices were perfect for our crowd and the dance floor was full all night. Not only are his music selections great, but he has a way of making the entire night run smoothly. The up lighting was exactly what we needed to complete the room and the photo booth was a huge hit - another part of the wedding people are still talking about. Mike even made us a CD with all of our songs which was awesome.. I can't say enough about how great Mike is - he played a huge role in making our day so perfect. thank you Mike, we had the best time!

After we met with Mike, we didn't need to meet with any other DJ's, his personality says it all. He was so helpful and easy to talk to about our expectations of the wedding and I am so happy that we had him as our DJ. The dance floor was packed from start to finish of our wedding, with everyone ranging in ages. The music was great and Mike did an amazing job, everyone has been talking about how great the music was, it really helped the tone of the reception. Thank you Mike!

Mike Janedy provided us with our reception uplighting and also a Photo Booth. He had one assistant with him and they both were very nice. They did an amazing job. We met with Mike prior to our wedding to go over certain colors we may want. He checked in prior to the wedding and the final product was beautiful! Our pictures look amazing with all the different colors. Our photo booth strips matched out invitations and each person received a photo strip that appeared in the photo.

Mike was fantastic and very accomodating in the planning and the delivery at the wedding. The dance flood was packed all night and we all had a wonderful time. We gave him a big play list and he worked it all out...a month later and we are still being complimented on the music and the dancing!

Mike was fantastic to work with. From the moment we met him, his presence and demeanor was professional and knowledgeable. His online music system was easy to use. We did not specify every song for him, but gave him the freedom to "play a good party". Did he ever! Our guests (young, old, and in between) were on the dance floor the whole night, and he kept a low profile while ensuring that the night went smoothly. Mike is amazing. My dance floor was packed all nights. He is a great dj. We added the up lighting that he offers and it made the room pop. He is a great Mc and a wonderful DJ!

Tommy (of DJ Mike Janedy) had an amazing selection of music. And anything he didn't have, he could get for us and was happy to do it. His business is also incredibly user-friendly -- you can make all of your selections, including the grand announcements, cake cutting song, and 'what not to play,' on his website. Then he calls you to doublecheck and see if you made any changes, and that's that. Since I was so busy by the time we were making those selections, this online thing was so much easier for us. And he absolutely stuck with our selections and our selections only. I did not hear a single thing that I did not personally select. He also maintained a great energy with the crowd -- when everyone was up and dancing, he kept it going. And at the end of the night, he presented my husband and me with 5 CDs -- all of the music from our night. We listen to those CDs all the time. It was such a nice gift. He was really fantastic.
