xtremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to in our initial call. He gave us a great sense of how he would be as our DJ for our wedding. We felt comfortable and very happy after our conversation with him and knew he would be the DJ we chose for our wedding. From that moment, he was always quick with responses and happy to help with any questions or if we needed to speak to him about any aspect of our planning process. He utilizes an app for his clients which was so easy and helpful for us to work with. He made sure before the big day that we were completely on the same page about what was going to happen the day of, which made us both calm and comfortable.
We had to postpone our original date because of Covid, but he was more than accommodating and so helpful in the process. When our wedding day finally arrived, November 13th 2021, he was there early to set up and made sure the day was exactly as we wanted. His energy and music choices were amazing. The dance floor was busy all night long! Everyone had an amazing time, the music choices were so great, definitely one of the best DJs I have heard at a wedding. We were also able to utilize the photobooth and that was so much fun! Our guests loved it and so did we! We had an amazing time at our wedding and are so grateful for Mike for helping make it an amazing experience! With an hour left, we asked him to stay two extra hours for the after party and he didn’t even flinch. He set up his equipment in the other room and killed it in there as well. I have always been pretty critical of DJs at other weddings and events I have attended- paying attention to the type of music playing, there vibe they give out to the crowd and how they interact, etc.
Since working with Mike from the first inquiry, he has been not only helpful and organized, but able to adapt to both Rich and my personalities, learn about both of our types of music genre and also understand the theme we were going for. He reviewed ALL of the music we chose through his amazing app called Vibo, which made choosing ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, father/daughter, mother/son dances so much easier!
Lastly, the photo booth- wow! Mike and Melissa did an OUTSTANDING job. My guests had such a fantastic time in the COVID SAFE photo booth! I truly can’t thank Mike and SoundFormula Entertainment for such amazing entertainment at my wedding- their smiles, friendliness and gorgeous family slideshow will be one to remember during our pandemic wedding!

ery clear on everything before the day of. Mike had high quality equipment and we liked his song choices. He was very willing to work with our budget and was able to offer his services at a very affordable price. Mike even filmed a complimentary video for us at the event that was a total surprise.
We did have a few concerns that arose on the day of the wedding. Despite multiple reminders, Mike accidentally mixed up the order of the first dance and parent dance, and did not cut off the first dance song at the requested time. He also forgot the complimentary uplights, but generously offered to refund us (despite them being free in the first place!) or set up the custom monogram instead (which we chose, and ended up liking better anyway!). He also did more hyping of the crowd than we were expecting when we specified we preferred a laid-back DJ. We emailed Mike with these concerns after the event, and he carefully addressed each one, accepted the constructive criticism, and apologized for any mistakes.

His wedding planning worksheet and website are great resources and he was very flexible and accommodating to our last minute changes. During our Wedding Ceremony we had some close friends perform the music and Mike was awesome about letting us use his equipment to do so.
He seems a bit reserved as a DJ, but his song choices and transitions were perfect for our wedding. Our families are not big dancers, but everyone was up on the dance floor having a great time! Thanks so much! :)
