Music and the events industry is my passion! I’ve seen a lot of New York weddings. I’ve heard a lot of New York DJ’s and I wanted to take those experiences and create something new, more modern and more fun for my couples and clients because they deserve the best!

Mike was fantastic to work with! From our initial phone call I immediately knew we were going to be in great hands! Leading up to the wedding I was able to input all important information (timelines, names, songs ie) into an app so we were perfectly aligned come wedding day! Our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were all in different locations which was no problem at all for Mike! He also provided up lighting for our reception which I highly recommend. We received tons of compliments on the music and there isn't a single thing I would have changed.
We hired Mike and Ryan for our reception and they were super easy to work with and very flexible with our budget and plans! Ryan kept cocktail hour and reception upbeat and we received so many compliments from our guests about his work. Highly recommend them both for any event, especially a wedding!

He checks several of your"To Do's"off your list with just 1 man,from lighting to microphones,announcements,monogram,photo booths etc...and of course music. He's 1 amazing man. I couldn't have asked for a better DJ.
We were incredibly pleased with our experience with Mike! From start to finish, the process was seamless. Mike was incredibly kind and patient as he took the time to get to know us and our wedding hopes & dreams. My fiancé and I had a lot of fun filling out the song requests on the app—it made the process so easy and organized. We included the photobooth in our package which was definitely the right choice! It was so much fun for the guests and made for great memories. We loved that the photobooth had hard copy print outs that guests could take and even could send right to their phone. It could even make gifs, amazing!
In terms of music, our guests were on the dance floor all night, which is really all you can hope for! 🎉 We highly recommend booking with Sound Formula Entertainment.
Mike DJed our wedding 2 weeks ago and he was awesome! He took care of the mics and speakers for the ceremony and speeches which was great. And during the reception none of my friends left the dance floor! The roaming Photo Booth was also really cool! If you need a DJ, we highly recommend!!!
We used Mike for our wedding on June 15th. He was extremely thorough with everything, from the first meeting to the last song played at the wedding. He took our requests we had with no problem and kept to them. He was extremely professional, well organized, and talented. We had the pleasure of working with Mike and Ryan for our wedding in Lake Placid this weekend. Mike was extremely professional and flexible from the beginning, and made planning and organizing our music seamless! Mike was extremely professional from the beginning to the end and made us feel very comfortable that he was on top of not only music, but lighting, sound/mics, a photo booth, and a very detailed timeline. We have been to many weddings where the sound at the ceremony or during speeches cuts out and takes away from the moment, but there was not a single issue the day of our wedding with Mike. We had the pleasure of also having Mike's newest addition, a saxophonist, to play along side his DJ booth and it was a HUGE hit - our guests are still talking about it!
I would highly recommend Mr. Napoli for any professional or formal gathering. He was flexible, easy to communicate with, and reasonably priced. At the event, he was kind, courteous, and easily controlled the flow of the event with his DJ skills. I have already recommended him for the same event next year!

Mike was great to work with and so friendly from the start! I knew that he would be a great vibe to have around while planning our wedding day, and he made an amazing emcee for our reception! Mike made sure to schedule as many meetings as we needed to put together the perfect song list. He also helped us source amazing live musicians, who he performed live with (it was amazing!!!) and he had an after party DJ that he recommended and worked alongside all evening. We loved the Photo Booth, CO2 cannons, pixel lights, and other reception lights that he provided. Our guests had an incredible time, and made wonderful memories. Thank you, Mike!!
Mike was so easy to work with from the beginning! We met him at a Wedding Expo before we had a date or venue picked out but once we got it sorted he was one of the first vendors we contacted! He has all the latest and greatest tech and equipment! He answered any and all of our questions quickly. Throughout the planning process he let us know exactly what he needs from us/the venue to have a successful ceremony/reception and nothing was missed! For the planning of songs for each segment of the day he uses the Vibo app which was so great and easy to use. He met with us a few times prior to the wedding to walk through the day, the songs, and every detail! Everything went flawlessly and the reception was a blast, the dance floor was full the whole night! We also booked the photo booth with Mike and what a hit! Everyone loved it and it was so fun looking at all the pictures the next day - yes Mike got us the link to all of them the very next morning! Overall it was a 10/10 experience working with Mike and would recommend him for any and all of your DJ needs!

We had Mike and Dave for our wedding in October and they did an absolutely amazing job. Dave DJ'd our reception, and played the perfect mix of songs for us. He was attentive to us and any requests we had the entire time, and always checked in with us. The dance floor was always full and a large part of that was because of his great mixes and song choices. We could not recommend Dave and Sound Formula Entertainment more for you events!
He was nice to work with, very informative with his DJ app we had to fill out. Communication was good. I would specify specific artists you want played instead of genres. All our must play songs were played in the beginning, we wished they were spread out more throughout the night. Our first dance was supposed to start off slow and then transition into the original upbeat version of the song and never did. We had wanted our guests to join us before our song ended as well to dance. We did a song with our moms and had specified we wanted it to be announced for all females to join out on the dance floor midway through the song and it was not.
Mike did an amazing job from planning what we wanted to our entire big day! He made sure we had everything we needed at our ceremony site with no power or service there and for the reception there wasn’t a time the dance floor wasn’t full! Everyone also enjoyed the Photo Booth too!
Mike and Dave were amazing to work with at SoundFormula Entertainment! Mike did all of our planning with us until right before the wedding day!! Dave was our DJ for our actual wedding and also spoke to us right before to make sure everything was taken care of correctly. They worked with our other vendors to be sure that everything ran smoothly and all were on the same page. They truly care about what they do! Dave kept our dance floor going all night and we had people ask who our DJ was for their events after the wedding. Melissa also was there for our Photo Booth and went above and beyond to make the set up what we wanted and keep our guests interacted. DJ Dave from Sound Formula Entertainment was an absolute boss at our wedding. All of our guests had so much fun dancing to the killer beats DJ Dave was spinning and anytime the wedding is bought up, they always mention the music. Dave was very easy to work with and was able to read the room to determine the vibe. I really enjoyed how organized and easy it was to set up the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. 20/10 would book again.

Dj Mike Napoli knows how to read a dance floor! Many times towards the end of the night my guests were telling me how awesome he was at picking the right songs. He was crushing it with the early 2000 remixes! The us of mixed with bubbles, lightning, glow sticks and light sabers made this a magical, fun wedding where everyone had blast. He even let my father in law come up and sing a song unscheduled and it went so smooth. Mike crushed it and did great with the the ceremony as well music and audio for the priest and speech givers. Mike uses an to help schedule songs and build playlists it helps to keep your entire wedding on schedule he legit built our schedule and sent it to the caterers. He was having a fun time himself out there! We would recommend him to friends and family.

Mike was superb every step of the way. He was thorough and communicative during the planning process. Leading up to the wedding he had us fill out extremely helpful questionnaires, and he also met with us several times to make sure everything was moving forward exactly as planned. Be sure to take advantage of the meticulous yet seamless preparations.
The wedding was where he shined. Mike tapped into the mood of the crowd and was able to DJ a set that thrilled everyone. All through the night we had friends and family come up to us to say how perfect the music was.
In addition to his impeccable DJ skills, Mike was extremely professional and kind. He made us feel comfortable and excited thoughout the entire process. We 100% recommend Mike Napoli for ANY wedding or event.

Mike first of all is WONDERFUL to work with. He is very organized and has an extensive library of music with no limits for us to choose. He was very attentive and a great MC. Loved how he mashed up songs and really put a lot of thought into the music, genres we like, and blended the songs together seamlessly. We loveddd working with him; he made our wedding reception the perfect night! Also highly recommend the photo booth - everyone loved it!!
Mike Napoli did such a wonderful job as our DJ in December 2021! From start to finish: he made sure to stay in the loop and up to date on our schedule leading up to the day of our wedding. We met several times to go over the timeline of our day; as well as making sure about specific music choices and pronunciation of names for introductions (which Mike nailed perfectly!). His lights were a great addition to our wedding venue, and we would highly recommend him to anyone that is looking to have a responsible, fun and energetic wedding DJ! Mike was excellent to work with heading into the wedding. Got the picture and vibe that we wanted for the wedding. Mike then relayed that info to Dave (who worked our wedding) and Dave nailed it. Dave did a great job with the ceremony and cocktail hour. Introductions went perfect. Then the dance floor was packed all night. Mike and Dave created a great playlist with some songs that we had requested and other songs that fit the vibe. People were dancing from the moment the dance floor opened until it was over. One of the best vendors we hired for the wedding. Thank you!
Mike was great to work with! Very responsive and gave great advice when needed! Planning with him was smooth sailing! The day of the wedding was no different! His app that he uses was a huge help when deciding on songs!
He had great energy and kept everyone up and dancing! We had a lot of people come up after the wedding to say how great he was and how much fun they had. He really hit on every generation/genre of music that we discussed in our meetings! Mike definitely pays close attention to whose up and dancing and does what he can to kept it going! All in all, we would 100% recommend him to everyone, and certainly have to everyone I know!
We knew were going to book Mike probably less than 5 minutes into our initial phone inquiry, even though we had a very thorough 45 minute conversation. He was so down to earth, and had a great balance of listening to our wants and needs and also giving his professional opinion. People of all ages were up dancing, smiling, and appreciating the good vibes he were sending through our venue. There is a video our friend took of everyone drunkenly singing along to Uptown Girl, and we die laughing whenever we watch it. He also made sure to play my must play "Savage Remix" and making my night… there’s a video of that too lol. Needless to say, Mike understood the assignment. Technically, his transitions from song to song were absolutely seamless, and knew what to play to get people on their feet. Would no doubt recommend!
DJ Mike Napoli of Sound Formula Entertainment was absolutely amazing to work with from the very first time we reached out about our wedding. He was able to schedule a call with us within a day of our first message which was so helpful. He was extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to in our initial call. He gave us a great sense of how he would be as our DJ for our wedding. We felt comfortable and very happy after our conversation with him and knew he would be the DJ we chose for our wedding. From that moment, he was always quick with responses and happy to help with any questions or if we needed to speak to him about any aspect of our planning process. He utilizes an app for his clients which was so easy and helpful for us to work with. He made sure before the big day that we were completely on the same page about what was going to happen the day of, which made us both calm and comfortable.
We had to postpone our original date because of Covid, but he was more than accommodating and so helpful in the process. When our wedding day finally arrived, November 13th 2021, he was there early to set up and made sure the day was exactly as we wanted. His energy and music choices were amazing. The dance floor was busy all night long! Everyone had an amazing time, the music choices were so great, definitely one of the best DJs I have heard at a wedding. We were also able to utilize the photobooth and that was so much fun! Our guests loved it and so did we! We had an amazing time at our wedding and are so grateful for Mike for helping make it an amazing experience! We would highly recommend Mike to anyone wanting to throw an amazing wedding, it was so much fun and an amazing day! We cannot thank Mike and Sound Formula enough for such a perfect celebration!

Mike and Melissa were absolutely wonderful to work with and kept the dance floor at our wedding packed ALL night long. From the initial meet all the way up to our wedding day Mike was super responsive and helpful with all the planning, answering numerous emails and texts with questions or changes I had. He worked with us and ever so easily flowed with the multiple changes we had the day of due to weather. He made the whole planning so much less stressful when it came to the music and really knows how to customize his services to fit his client's needs. He also offers photobooth services which our guests LOVED!! He also gave us add ons and has so many options to chose from lighting and even indoor fireworks (unfortunately our venue wouldn't allow it but they look awesome). We are so incredibly glad we hired Mike Napoli to DJ our wedding last weekend. From the first point of email contact, almost a year ago, to the very last song on Saturday night, Mike was so wonderful to work with! He is experienced, knowledgable, and great at what he does. He worked with us to make our wedding so fun and exactly what we had pictured, while also helping to advise us on certain details based on his expertise. We had an outdoor wedding in a remote location and he handled our ceremony and reception, in two separate areas, with ease. He had everyone on the dance floor all night and really just gave us the best dance experience we could have asked for. He is also just the nicest, calmest person to work with- an absolute gem. We cannot thank him enough- do yourself a favor and book him for your next event :)

Top notch from start to finish. He spent the time with us in several meetings to plan the big day. The day of he was there and set up without a hitch. Everybody was on the dance floor the WHOLE NIGHT. With an hour left, we asked him to stay two extra hours for the after party and he didn’t even flinch. He set up his equipment in the other room and killed it in there as well. I couldn’t have imagined hiring anyone else for our wedding. AMAZING!!!! Our wedding was hands down the best day of our lives and Mike was a big part of it… thank you!!!
Mike was always very communicative and always responded in a timely manner. He allowed us to pick our own songs for almost every part of the wedding ceremony and reception which was nice. He was very organized and did a good job always announcing everyone’s names in one speeches were to be made he kept us very organized. You can tell daddy loves what he does and wants to make sure that the couple is happy, which we were. I felt very comfortable having Mike as our DJ and would recommend him to anyone else.
Mike and SoundFormula Entertainment exceeded all of Rich and my expectations when searching for a DJ and entertainer for our 3/26/21 wedding. It was one of the first weddings back since all of the lighter restrictions and regulations/guidelines were set in places due to COVID-19.
I have always been pretty critical of DJs at other weddings and events I have attended- paying attention to the type of music playing, there vibe they give out to the crowd and how they interact, etc.
Since working with Mike from the first inquiry, he has been not only helpful and organized, but able to adapt to both Rich and my personalities, learn about both of our types of music genre and also understand the theme we were going for. He reviewed ALL of the music we chose through his amazing app called Vibo, which made choosing ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, father/daughter, mother/son dances so much easier!
Lastly, the photo booth- wow! Mike and Melissa did an OUTSTANDING job. My guests had such a fantastic time in the COVID SAFE photo booth! I truly can’t thank Mike and SoundFormula Entertainment for such amazing entertainment at my wedding- their smiles, friendliness and gorgeous family slideshow will be one to remember during our pandemic wedding!

Mike was amazing at our intimate wedding this year due to COVID. He kept everyone feeling engaged and energetic despite all of the restrictions and was able to provide a fun, socially distanced experience. We also had the opportunity to book him again for our postponed reception next year and we could not be more thrilled to have him DJ our next event. Mike did a great job at out wedding! He stayed in contact with us throughout the planning process and kept us on track! His app made planning music for each event so easy and he virtually was able to lay out the whole night for us, which we were struggling with. If you haven’t picked a DJ yet, look no further!! SoundFormula (Mike) was very responsive and organized from the beginning. He has a whole timeline and different options for lighting and monograms. Our guests absolutely loved the photo booth that he does and are still raving about it! He played all the songs we requested and more! All the guests had a blast dancing!!

Mike was a delight from the beginning. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better person to Dj our wedding. He made sure to keep in touch with us, listened to our concerns, adjusted anything we could possibly need with no issues at all. I originally found him by looking at reviews from other people online. I honestly thought it was a long shot trying to get Mike to Dj our wedding because he’s based out of Albany-but after a phone call, he was more than happy to come all the way to Queens to Dj our rooftop wedding!!! Mike, our wedding was over a month ago, and I’m still hearing about how amazing the night was, between the smart lights, the changes in music from one part of the night to the next. We got married August 4th using Sound Formula. We are beyond pleased. Professional for sure, sensitive to certain situations. Replied to questions in timely manner. I felt like Mike was up to date and the timeline he reviewed for the wedding matched with the venue seamlessly. I would also say accommodating to many things but two occasions stick out particularly: First, helping us get the songs we wanted that aren’t necessarily mainstream. Secondly, provided music and microphones during ceremony, outdoor wedding. Took such a huge weight off my shoulders. I’ve been recommending them to everyone i know is getting married. We absolutely would use them all over again.
Michael was an excellent DJ for our wedding. He kept the party alive with a great playlist that guests of all ages could dance to all night. He curated a great playlist and was able to incorporate all our requests. Michael is very professional and was easy to reach out. My wife and I currently live in California and had to plan long distance. Because of this, Michael was more than accommodating and was easily available to plan out the ceremony.
His familiarity with our venue (Pat's barn) helped us tremendously, he worked with us on his location as well as where to organize everything.
In addition, Melissa ran the photo booth for us. She was very professional and patient with all our guests. They offered a wide range of props and backdrops to fit our wedding theme.
Michael and Melissa's professionalism with our other vendors was spot on and was able to work with everyone to make sure our wedding went perfectly. Sarah and I highly recommend him for your wedding!
I have to say he is the best DJ to work with. From Day 1, I was confident I chose the correct DJ. When we met up for the first time, he was informative, explained everything and very creative. He was very helpful especially when I had a questions or did not understand something. He is also very professional. He did not give me a thing to worry about. Showed up on time and made sure everything was perfect the day of my wedding. Always checked in through out the night to make sure and made adjustments as needed. He was always there to chat, or text if needed. He is not your every day DJ, he goes above and beyond. If I have another event, I for sure will chose Sound Formula Entertainment.

My husband and I hired Mike as the dj for our wedding ceremony and reception last month. He was easy to work with during the planning process and flexible leading up to the big day - we added uplighting and extended our dj package just before our wedding and he provided a packaged price for those additional requests that was very reasonable.

We also hired his wife, Melissa, to run the photo booth during our reception. The photo booth was such a big hit and the props that they provided were awesome. The line was always moving and I think that guests enjoyed having the memento to take home with them. Mike was able to take a picture of my invitations and turn it into background layout of the photo booth photo (which also matched my wedding favors). A few days after our wedding, Mike emailed me a link to see all of the photo booth photos that were taking the night of my wedding. These photos are priceless! We’re very happy we picked Mike and Melissa Napoli to be a part of our wedding day.
We booked Mike, & also his wife who runs the Photobooth, for our end of year 5th Grade day at an elementary school. We could not have asked for a nicer, more professional couple. Mike had the perfect playlist for the kids, as well as games to play during the songs. His high energy was just what was needed to keep the party going. The photobooth was an amazing addition, the kids loved the props, and the photo strips were even customized with the Event name & the school mascot. Words can't explain how great of a DJ Mike was. If your looking for a top of the line DJ who brings all the bells and whistles to your wedding/reception and at a beyond affordable price, then Mike is your man! I can't stress how easy it was to work with him. Always responding back to our questions ASAP! Not to mention his photobooth was a huge hit! A definite must have. Mike uses all top grade equipment so the sound quality was phenomenal. He even has multiple setups which worked out amazing for us since our ceremony was at a different area than our reception. I highly recommend Mike too anyone who is looking make their event a memorable moment and wants a stress process in doing so. He does all the work for you! We will definitely be using him again at our next event!
If you're looking for someone for lighting and a photo booth Mike is the man to hire! He set up the lights just right and brought the room alive with color. He also made a personal monogram and had it right on the wall for everyone to see. The photo booth he brought was a big hit! Everyone loved the props and hundreds of pics were made! And even though I didn't use Mike as our DJ I know he is great at what he does!

DJ Mike Napoli was the DJ for our May 21st wedding at the Mansion Inn in Saratoga. Mike was very personable, professional, and friendly. He was very flexible and willing to accommodate multiple setup locations. He was thorough and tried to be very clear on everything before the day of. Mike had high quality equipment and we liked his song choices. He was very willing to work with our budget and was able to offer his services at a very affordable price. Mike even filmed a complimentary video for us at the event that was a total surprise.
We did have a few concerns that arose on the day of the wedding. Despite multiple reminders, Mike accidentally mixed up the order of the first dance and parent dance, and did not cut off the first dance song at the requested time. He also forgot the complimentary uplights, but generously offered to refund us (despite them being free in the first place!) or set up the custom monogram instead (which we chose, and ended up liking better anyway!). He also did more hyping of the crowd than we were expecting when we specified we preferred a laid-back DJ. We emailed Mike with these concerns after the event, and he carefully addressed each one, accepted the constructive criticism, and apologized for any mistakes.
Mike provided DJ services for our wedding reception. He kept in contact throughout the whole wedding planning process and was quick to respond to my many inquires. He offered a extremely reasonable package pricing & offered a discount incentive if we paid before a certain date, which was an added bonus!
His wedding planning worksheet and website are great resources and he was very flexible and accommodating to our last minute changes. During our Wedding Ceremony we had some close friends perform the music and Mike was awesome about letting us use his equipment to do so.
He seems a bit reserved as a DJ, but his song choices and transitions were perfect for our wedding. Our families are not big dancers, but everyone was up on the dance floor having a great time! Thanks so much! :)
