also thought that this service did an impeccable job of delivering what they advertised, that being a custom and professional event. I was very impressed with how the DJ was appropriate and very classy in his presentation. I have seen other DJ services and must agree with my family that this was the most professional. If you are looking for a service that lives up to their name, remember DJ Music Professionals. Very good choice, if I do say so my self. Thank you DJ Music Professionals for doing your job right.

This service was the easiest part to planning my whole special day. The DJ was confident and FUN. The activities really were fun! Music was amazing for the entire night, he passed out request forms so the audience would be involved in what was playing. Adrian was dressed professionally and helped coordinate the entire day!! told him we would pay him the deposit as soon as we returned home - which he said was fine. He then proceeded to tell us, after we were home, that he booked our date to another couple for more money, and that since we hadn't paid our deposit yet, that that's how the DJ business is. We were extremely upset, and since we didn't know where else to go, we booked one of his sublet DJs, Dan. Dan was AMAZING. He has his own DJ business, Dan Surface DJs, but he helps Adrian on the side. He was extremely professional and wanted to make sure our reception was perfect. There were big communication errors, because Dan would tell us Adrian was going to call us, but he never did. Adrian never remembered who we were and we had to ask him for the forms we needed before the wedding because he never kept in contact. Dan, however, always remembered our names and seemed to always have time to meet or talk with us. We would recommend him 100%, but I would go through Surface DJs, not DJ Music Professionals.

He avoided meeting in person as much as possible, got kind of nasty when I emailed him a week before the wedding saying that I still didn't know who our DJ was, and kept forcing us to plan our reception though his website that was clunky and annoying. Again, the DJ who was actually present for the wedding was fine, and I would consider hiring him since he also runs his own business, but I do not recommend the DJ Music Professionals service.

planning tool was helpful and to be able to search the music library was good, but that is where the positives end.The dj basically flat out asked for tips throughout the night and was quite cocky for lack of better wording. Prior to the event, he sent me the wrong planning form (for a different reception on a different date)than didn't make any of the changes we previously discussed. When I contacted him about it he told me to do it and highlight what was to be changed. This was 5 days before my wedding. He had been paid for a service that I now had to do, on top of all the other finalization of wedding plans that week. He than would not confirm he received and understood the changes until 2 days before event, after numerous emails to him in which I got a facetious phone call in return with the same cocky attitude. At the reception he pushed some issues we said no to, and also dedicated a song to my great aunt as "the song requested by that short old lady". Yes she is short, and she is older, however we felt this to be inappropriate. Our reception was a bit screwy time wise due to some transportation issues and though dj was patient, once we got there the timing was rushed even when we asked for a bit to talk to our guests while they finished their meals. Other things we went over on our last phone call that he assured me would be "perfect" because he was doing it, also were not done properly. Our daughter requested a song numerous times, it was on the play list, and dj would not play the song still. It took the bride (me) asking dj to play the song, in which he replied "it isn't a song people will dance to" I said "I am the bride telling you now that it is a song that needs played regardless of the number of people dancing on the floor. My daughter asked for it and this day is a special day for her too, please play it" He kind of scoffed at me and put the song on the list finally. He also made this comment about other requested songs, that were requests from the bride and groom. It was our day and we knew what people would dance to at our reception. The icing on the cake was at the end of the night, the dj was packing up and I thanked him again, when he responded with "Thanks, can't wait to see your review on my website Nicole" My name is not Nicole. This person had primarily dealt with me, my email address, and number and been at my reception for almost 6 hours and didn't know my name. Needless to say, we will not be using this vendor again.
