DJ Musical Memories is a wedding DJ business based in Portland, OR. Owner Eric Stevenson has over 20 years of experience working at countless weddings and charity events to provide clients with high-quality entertainment. Having worked in public safety for over two decades, Eric is well versed at being punctual and exceeding his customers' expectations and applies these attributes to his work as a DJ. If you're looking for a wedding DJ with a wealth of experience, and a commitment to giving you and your guest the time of their life, look no further than DJ Musical Memories.
Eric went to a local university on a sports scholarship, where he graduated with a Bachelor's in small business entrepreneurship. After which, he was hired into a local police department, where he worked for six years. During this time, he fell in love with DJing and began his career as a performer alongside law enforcement. Nowadays, Eric is a full-time EMT and firefighter with a mutual passion for public safety and music.
DJ Musical Memories provides consultation services with clients to give you and Eric the time to discuss your preferences. He can play a variety of music genres, including rock, R&B, pop, country and club. Eric also offers a do-not-play list so that you can tailor his setlist to your tastes. To give you an exclusive experience, he only performs at one event a day and will provide a PA system and microphones for the occasion.

He emailed us an outline so we could have music for everything...our entrance/exit, garter & boquet toss, first dance, parent dances, cake cutting...and so many other things we had never thought of. We had such a diverse crowd of people, we weren't sure what all we'd want to dance to. He rolled with the punches so well and got everyone out on the dance floor the whole night. The amount (and range!) of music he had right on hand was INCREDIBLE. At one point we went from dancing a polka to Baby Got Back. Such a fun night! Just make sure you clearly communicate exit and entrances so the timing's right.
