us as individuals so he could make sure to deliver the night we were both looking for. The unlimited consultation sessions once we booked were a huge benefit as there were a lot of special and unique pieces to not just our ceremony but the reception that we needed to coordinate with him. Anything that we threw his way, he not only made it happen perfectly, but he was also able to accentuate it with his own personality and managed the crowd to get them revved up before high energy situations. He had a mastery of our ceremony and evening, constantly reminding us of what’s next, checking in to make sure were good with where the night was going, and always had the right things queued up. And once we got to the dance party of it all, he was just in his BAG. One of the best decisions that we made was letting him do his thing and not flooding him with song suggestions – he knew the style of music we liked, the age demographic of our guests and more importantly our friends, and ran with it full steam ahead. The mix of old and new songs, throwbacks and bangers was just perfect. We danced the night away and before we knew it, we were at our last song, not ready for the night to end.
Not only is Nate a great Wedding DJ in his ability to run the show from ceremony and reception, and also throw on heck of a party, he’s also just a great and genuine human. Working and interacting with him throughout the process you could tell he was genuinely invested in us as individuals, a couple, and making sure we were getting exactly what we had envisioned for our big day. Each consultation meeting was full of laughs and jokes, and just fun brainstorming sessions. It was priceless what he delivered to us on our wedding day, and we’ll forever be indebted to him for that. If you’re looking for a DJ for any reason, but specifically a wedding, Nate is your guy!

ress her. First of all, we booked him about 5 weeks before our wedding. Our initial meetings with him were welcoming (it felt like we knew him for years) and his consistent communication made the entire process seamless. We didn’t know how this process worked initially but he assured us that he’ll take care of everything, from scouting the venue to talking and planning with the wedding coordinator. On the day of the wedding, not only was the music selection great, but he also played the role of MC for us and directed our guests during dinner time at the reception. Talk about going above and beyond. I'm forever grateful for DJ Nate. I don’t know too many people in the Phoenix area, but if ANYBODY asks us for DJ recommendations he will be the FIRST AND ONLY DJ I will recommend. Period.

he came at least an hour early! The app he uses allows you to pick songs for certain moments throughout the wedding and gives him an idea of the music you like. Nate is also a great MC! That's SO important when looking for a wedding DJ! All DJs can play music, but not all are comfortable on the microphone. Nate kept with the schedule and honestly took a lot of the coordinating off of our plate. We didn't have to worry about the timeline on our wedding day at all! For that, he deserves 5 stars!
Cons: Nate was awesome but there were a few things that need to be brought up in order to give an honest review. First, we discussed with Nate that we had a wedding playlist on Spotify that we curated and would like him to go off of. Nate played some songs from our playlist (we wish he would've played more) but also played some songs we would have never chosen. Also, during our initial video chat, Nate asked about songs we absolutely did not want played, we discussed it and laughed about it and guess what? He played the number one song that was on the no play list.
All in all our guests had a great time and danced the whole entire wedding! We would recommend hiring Nate. We think the DJ is one of the most crucial roles and you can definitely count on Nate!

He was also VERY easy to work with and super professional. Everything was painless and he had fantastic suggestions - he even thought about things neither of us had and made it even better.
He was also very intecntional about using our style of music for everything and added personal touches throughout the night that weren't necessary, but made a significant difference in the experience.
