DJ Nick Nystrom

stellar vibe curator!! We were recommended to him from another DJ and we initially had a short meet-and-greet Zoom call with Nick to see if we were a good fit for each other and so we could get to know his DJ'ing style, and as soon as my husband and I got off the Zoom call we knew he was it. Our wedding ceremony went off without a hitch with great sound, and our reception was the biggest party ever - all thanks to him! If you're a Type A bride who wants an all-around amazing DJ for your day, DO NOT scroll any further!! The Cassaidys

ommunication & organization skills are unmatched and ensures your day goes off without a hitch. He takes time to get to know you as a couple and understand your vibe. We gave some guidance on a few songs we wanted to hear, but we let Nick do his thing and he killed it! Our guests of all ages got out on the dance floor and had the best time. Nick easily goes with the flow and not to mention his DJ set up/sound system looks so cool and adds a great vibe to the reception area. Book Nystrom Productions now, you will have the best experience!

trial session, his attentiveness and flexibility as we worked out the kinks of live streaming from Iowa to Puerto Rico. He even schemed with my now husband to surprise me with a special dance! We had a 60" tv displaying Nick and my laptop with a zoom running simultaneously so that he could have eyes in the room. Every single one of our guests thought it was the coolest idea. Even the vendors we had in-person were impressed! Overall, Nick is extremely professional, communicative, and a genuinely awesome person to work with. Don't live in Iowa? Doesn't matter. Pick Nick anyway! We're already trying to figure out another event as an excuse to bring him back!

out how we wanted our special day play out, not only with music choice but also timing out speeches, intros, bouquet toss, etc. We had a blast on our wedding day and so did our guests thanks to Nick's prowess not only as a DJ but as the unofficial emcee of the night. We highly recommend Nystrom Productions if you want your planning to be low-stress and organized and also if you'd like your special day to go off without a hitch. Thank you Nick!

absolute blast! Beforehand he took the time to get to know us and the vibe we were after for our big day. He kicked our reception off with killer intros for our wedding party around an Iowa State basketball theme--Loved how much energy he put into it! He has awesome taste and music and kept our entire dance floor PACKED all night long! Thank you so much, Nick, for making our day unforgettable for not only us, but also our friends and family! You killed it! Cheers!

at we wanted. Nick helped to keep things moving along during the reception and kept everyone dancing. He even used his drone in order to capture aerial pictures for us! I would highly recommend Nystrom Productions!

y's timeline and make sure we kept moving along with when the moment was right. I can't say enough good things about his ability to keep the dance floor full. He made it a thrilling experience that flew by. Moreover, he kindly captured some footage of the night that is really special to look back on and treasure little moments that were missed in the chaos of it all. In summary, having Nystrom Productions at our wedding was a blessing and I highly recommend everyone wanting a smooth wedding day to contact Nick about being your DJ!

y of our friends have told us that he was the best wedding DJ they have heard. We completely agree! Our day wouldn't have been the same without him. Recommend Nick 100%!

above and beyond the expectations of a DJ as he helped me perform a special song for my Wife, got some awesome pictures of our celebration and even a few videos with his drone of our reception and venue which were all just icing on top. Nick did everything we asked of him and more, all the time with a smile on his face. I highly recommend Nick as a DJ; he is a great guy to work with!!

ding and people are still raving about our DJ! It was particularly impressive to watch him flawlessly blend American and African music and tradition to accommodate our multi-cultural wedding :) From the moment we met with Nick it was obvious he was extremely experienced as a wedding DJ as clearly it showed through his organization and execution on our wedding day. He made sure our day flowed smoothly from our outdoor ceremony, to the reception hall cocktail hour, throughout the reception program, and by keeping the dance floor hopping until the very end! Hire Nick if you are looking for an intuitively skilled wedding DJ to create an unforgettable experience that goes way above and beyond simply playing songs. Thank you so much Nick!
