DJ Nicky was amazing! We hired him for our wedding over Labor Day weekend and he did a phenomenal job!!! He is efficient with planning and has excellent transitions between songs. He also helped me cut two songs together for the father daughter dance, which was seamless. The dance floor was full all night long! I’d definitely recommend him and would hire him again for a future event

Dj Nicky wood was so excellent. My entire wedding was dancing all night long, I needed no list because he was so well versed in what songs to play to keep the crowd dancing. My venue was in the middle of the woods and reception is almost non existent. So Dj Nicky was a great sport, before the wedding he was so responsive and answered all my questions with kindness and patience! We had the best night of our lives, and we couldn’t have done it without DJ Nicky Wood!!

DJ Nicky Wood is the very best DJ, by far, that I have ever heard at a wedding. My husband, Chris, tracked him down. That was his only job to do! And he did it with flying colors! Nicky really is such a great guy. So easy to talk and communicate with. The ceremony and reception was seemlass, thanks to him. We danced the whole time, to songs we had chosen, and Nicky had so amazingly mixed in, with others. Everyone, from my Grandparents to nieces and nephews, loved it!

My family and friends really do love partying and dancing! Nicky is the absolute perfect DJ, we could not get off the dancefloor, best music of my life. That feeling of being in a club, but not really was incredible. Nicky is such a great mixer, we had to keep dancing. He doesn't talk much, but when he does, that voice and accent will get you!

Tom and I had the best Wedding Reception and New Year's Eve Party ever. Nicky Wood is such a hilarious DJ, he must be the very best that is out there! I was not happy with the experience that we had with DJ Nicky Wood. I spent so much time picking out my ceremony music and I couldn't hear it when I was walking down the aisle, which was really disappointing. I thought the music was average, beyond what we asked to be played off our list. The part that really upset about me is that we heard from numerous guests that he was rude to them - when they would request songs he would respond with "absolutely not" or, "no, that song hasn't been played in 20 years." I just thought that was completely unnecessary and whether or not you play the song, there's a way that you talk to people.

Thanksfor the best day, and night ever! Nicky made it all so easy, stress-free and fun. We love to dance, Nicky kept us, and our families and friend on the dancefloor. We could not have had it any better. Nicky is such a great DJ!

Nicky Wood was the perfect choice of DJ for our wedding day! He was prompt, professional, kind, and most importantly he kept the party going! His assistant was also a great addition to keep the night on track. Nicky was responsive and very easy to get in touch with during the planning process.

Nicky was absolutely great at our wedding in Trumansburg, NY in July. We were nervous about hiring a DJ we didn't know, as a lot of our friends are musicians and DJs, but we couldn't have found a better option! We enjoyed working through the process with him and deciding what sort of music we wanted him to play. Nicky was absolutely perfect! He made our wedding so incredibly special, my (now) wife as well as most of our guests spent most of the night on the dance floor. He also helped us find a track she wanted to sing and was extremely accommodating with everything. Best decision, specially if you’re a fan of 80’s music and don’t want a super traditional reception.

Nicky was great! We didn’t give him much to go off of, but he played good dancing classics that appealed to everyone in our varied crowd and everyone said they loved the music. We had a blast! My only little critique was the first dance song between the bride and father went on a little long, but it all worked out! If you like good classics, and don’t want any cheesy stuff Nicky is a great choice!

Nicky's performance as our DJ was flawless. From the start, he was a pleasure to communicate with. He did an outstanding job integrating our requests with his playlist. He even purchased new lapel mics for our officiant to use. His dancing playlist was so good, our guests literally COULDNT stop dancing. In fact, one of my friend and colleagues' told me she hadn't seen her husband dance at a wedding in the last 10 years. He danced at ours! We can't thank Nicky enough for the incredible job he did making our wedding great for us and our guests.

Nicky was just what we wanted for our wedding! He played a great mix to appeal to all of our guests, young and old, and kept the dance floor packed till the end of the night. He and his assistant David were so nice and professional, and did a great job keeping our reception on track. They even went beyond what we had originally asked for and helped us play the music for our ceremony since we held it in the same place (and they arrived with plenty of time). Nicky made announcements at key points during the reception without overdoing it, and was funny without being cheesy or gimmicky. He was very accommodating and communicative during the planning process, even though we ended up not giving him too much guidance since we were so busy with other things. He picked the perfect times to play the few songs we requested, and made great selections to keep the crowd happy for the rest of the night. Nicky was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ!

Music was one of the things that my fiancé and I cared the most about while planning out wedding. Nicky Wood was highly recommended to us by our wedding planner, and we are so happy that we followed her recommendation. Aside from being kind, interesting and professional - Nicky is EXCEPTIONAL at his job ! Nicky and his assistant met with us several times before our wedding and listened carefully to our wants and needs. He took the time to understand who we are and the vibe we wanted, which was so important to me. During our wedding, Nicky played song after song that we (and our guests) loved. He read the room and kept the party going consistently. My Mom, who is hard to please musically, said there was not ONE THING she would have changed. In fact, she was about to board the party bus to go home as she heard the last song of the night come on. She got off the bus and ran back to the dance floor. As master of ceremonies, Nicky is not tacky or overly showy in any way. He adds just the right amount of direction and personality to keep the events of the evening moving. We had so many compliments from guests saying that this was the most fun wedding they had ever been to, and a huge part of that is thanks to Nicky and Dave. If you're looking for your wedding DJ, you found him!

Nicky Wood was amazing! My husband and I got married in Lake Placid on 8/18 and we were looking for a DJ who could accommodate our slightly different wedding vibe. We loved having Nicky DJ our wedding, and all of our guests had a fantastic time. Nicky is very easygoing and a delight to work with. It was good to discuss ahead of time all the things that needed to happen during the reception, and even when we got a bit delayed with our dinner/toasting/photograph schedule, Nicky was very adaptable and kept everything running smoothly. The music selection was on point as well. We sent some song suggestions, and Nicky arranged them expertly, while also throwing some great tracks we hadn’t thought of. Nicky was spectacular. He was personable, communicative and great to work with. He knew just how to keep the dance floor full of happy people - responding to the room and choosing amazing songs. He was kind enough to review a list of favorite songs and played as many as he could - and even better - would not play any songs I included in a "Please do not" list! Our wedding day went quite differently than planned due to the skies opening up and raining all afternoon. But it was still the best night EVER, Nicky made sure that everyone felt comfortable on the dance floor all night and even stayed after our discussed hours to keep the party going for us.
