DJ Orlando Entertainment is a wedding disc jockey company based in Baltimore, MD. This team services the state of Maryland as well as areas of Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington, DC. Managed by Jessica and David Orlando, this company focuses on providing couples with a customized sound to suit their style.
Founded in 2004, the idea of the company was conceived when Jessica and David were searching for vendors for their own wedding. They found that many companies were unwilling or unable to change their processes to suit their vision or take their personal preferences into account. DJ Orlando Entertainment was thus created, and this couple continues to run the show to this day. David, a graduate of The Broadcasting Institute of Maryland, has worked as a disc jockey for over 10 years. Jessica has a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and Technology, as well as a master’s degree in Human Resources Development.
Couples who book this company can expect to work with a team of consummate professionals who have been carefully curated by Jessica and David. The team offers consultations to couples before booking so that they can discuss the details of the wedding. They also ask couples to talk them through their personal style and vision for the event. This gives them an understanding of the atmosphere that the couple wants to create. They can then confirm if they are able to customize their services accordingly to suit this. Couples will have access to a selection of music, where they can build the list of music they want to hear on the day. DJ Orlando Entertainment offers a range of wedding packages and can cater for receptions, cocktail hours, and wedding ceremonies. They also offer custom packages. The team works with professional-grade sound equipment and will arrive one hour before the event to complete sound checks. These disc jockeys will dress to suit the tone of your event, whether it be a black tie, business casual, or semi-formal. They offer wireless microphones for the wedding speeches and officiants and can bring lapel microphones. Upon request, the team can also bring an assistant, which they recommend for events with over 200 guests.

David was awesome!! He was the perfect DJ and MC for our June 2024 wedding in Rock Hall, MD. We had him do the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. He was so easy to work with, especially in the weeks leading up to our wedding and figuring out all the details on wedding day. He was super friendly and fun - we kept hearing from our guests how great the music was throughout the day. Would highly recommend David for your DJ needs, especially for a wedding.
Dave was the best DJ at our wedding! Played banger after banger and we didn’t want to leave the dance floor! His cues were perfect for the ceremony and grand entrance ! 10/10 recommend !

Made great suggestions that we wouldn’t even have thought of and was always very quick to respond when we had questions that came up. Talk about a DJ that knew the assignment - seriously, just save the time searching and go with Orlando. He was PERFECT. He knew exactly what my husband and I wanted without us having to explain detail by detail how we want the night to go. He was SO NICE and just took control, which was what we needed because we didn't have a day of coordinator. We also had some last minute changes the day of and he was so accommodating and made it all work. We wanted our wedding to be lively and entertaining, and he made sure just that happened. He had EVERYONE on the dance floor - he read the room so well and made sure everyone had a great time. Cost wise, he offered the best price compared to anyone else we found. He allowed us not to have to worry about the night and if everyone was having fun. He took care of it and I cannot recommend him enough. If we ever need a DJ again, he will be the only person we go to.
Dave was fantastic! All communications with him prior to the wedding were very clear. He really took the time to understand what kind of music we wanted and he delivered exactly what we asked for. He provided music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing and his selections were spot on. He also honored our request to keep the volume at a level where people could still converse. He arrived on time and followed the timeline we provided and kept things moving the way we intended. He dressed very professionally, he was attentive, and his equipment was top notch. We cannot say enough about how incredible he was! We would highly, highly recommend DJ Orlando for your wedding!
Dave did a great job! He's entertaining, trustworthy and dedicated to making sure you have a wonderful day. He created great playlists and had us dancing the night away!
How can I say enough good about DJ Dave. He was a consummate professional, courteous, and genuinely good to work with concerning the entertainment of our reception. He provided music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and he did not disappoint. We gave him an extensive list of songs to play, and he didn't miss anything we requested. I couldn't recommend his services highly enough. He was a large part of making our wedding day the perfect event. There was not a disappointed person at the venue the whole night. He kept us entertained, and he helped us keep track of the night. Be sure to use him for any event you need. He is wonderful.
DJ David Orlando provided services for our wedding reception. He has a great database of music and definitely got the party started! He is very professional, responsive, and personable. Before the event, he provided an event organizer that is easy to fill out and was very helpful! He also set up a phone call before the wedding to go over all the details. We couldn’t have been happier with our reception and We highly recommend DJ Orlando!
DJ David Orlando was amazing. He’s exactly what you need if you want your reception to be a party. Honestly even if you didn’t want a crazy party, he’s your guy. He really took the time to know us and understand what we wanted our reception to be like. I also loved that he had his wife phonetically write down our wedding parties names so they he could pronounce them perfectly. We even had some last-minute changes, and he was totally on top of it. Really the whole process was effortless I honestly almost thought it was a scam because he’s so affordable and everything seemed too good to be true. But it’s not! He really is that good and our reception went off without a hitch because of him.
DJ Orlando was great! He did the audio for our ceremony and reception, and had a really helpful organizer for us to fill out. We had a call with him shortly before the wedding and he had great suggestions for key moments (cocktail hour music, last song, etc). We were lucky to get married after Maryland had lifted restrictions, and all of our guests were vaccinated, so everyone was ready to celebrate. Our dance floor was packed the whole night and everyone had a great time, whether they were 18 or 80.
I can not say enough great things about DJ Orlando! We needed a lot of help and guidance in selecting songs and planning our ceremony, and David was always willing to help and answer questions. DJ Orlando went above and beyond in planning our ceremony. He went over EVERY detail of the ceremony and reception to make sure our day was perfect. At the reception, David was amazing at reading the crowd and selecting songs to get people on the dance floor. He is outgoing and knows how to make the occasion fun for everyone. We LOVE DJ Orlando!
Leading up to our wedding, David was so helpful and responsive. We had our call with Bruce the week of, and he was able to walk us through the day and secure our music choices - we didn't have many song preferences w/r to reception music, we just wanted everyone to have a good time and get out on the dance floor. Bruce did not disappoint! Everyone was talking about how much fun they had, and Bruce had everyone dancing by the end of the night!
With DJ Orlando Entertainment you are in great hands. David was awesome to work with, he made things very easy, had a great music database and easy paperwork to lay out exactly what you want and when. He set us up with his partner DJBruce for our wedding. Bruce was awesome. He was such a fun, awesome guy. He was energetic and easy to talk to and played awesome music for us. He had a great attitude and made the dance party fun. I would highly recommend working with this company, we couldn't have asked for better!
AMAZING job! we started falling behind the day of and DJ Orlando got us back on track and got everyone on the dance floor. My only wish is it could have lasted longer because he was playing killer music and we were having a blast!! 10/10 recommend!
DJ Dennis was the DJ for our wedding, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! When we spoke on the phone before the event, he was super attentive and paid attention to every little detail. He is also very experienced and handled all of my questions/anxieties with ease. You could tell he really cared about what we wanted for our wedding. At the actual event, he was timely, professional, and was the glue that held the entire event together. He kept to the schedule and kept things moving smoothly. Not to mention, he did a fantastic job with the music and handling all of the ridiculous requests we had. Overall, we were so happy with DJ Dennis and our experience with DJ Orlando Entertainment!!
DJ Orlando did a great job at our wedding introducing our large bridal party and keeping music in line with my and my husband tastes. He is very charismatic and made our wedding reception special.
DJ Orlando was absolutely amazing to work with! From the first consultation he was extremely personable and was intent on learning about my spouse and myself! He was on top of everything from sound and lighting in the ceremony and the reception area! He made sure to pronounce everyone's name correctly and was extremely organized to make sure our day went smoothly! Absolutely loved having DJ Orlando at my wedding. I had last minutes changes and he just rolled with them and made it all come together beautifully. He had a nice balance of music and read the room well to keep the party going!

Our wedding was an absolute DREAM. We chose to use David months prior to our wedding because he was so highly reviewed and I’m about to add one more 5-star to his list! From the very first conversation we knew we were in good hands. David was professional, responsive and just knew what the heck he was doing! We told David we wanted our dance floor full the entire night and he delivered. I’m talking people aged 2-99... not one person was sitting. He absolutely killed it- from the ceremony, to the announcing, to the very last song he made our dreams of a fun wedding come true. We can’t thank you enough, David!

We've been to several events with DJ Orlando Entertainment. I can honestly say you won't find a more friendly, professional and accommodating team out there. It's pretty evident that this team of DJs love their job and are quite good at it. From weddings to bull roasts to school dances and proms, DJ Orlando always fills the dance floor and is one of the most interactive DJs I've experienced. Definitely worth giving them a call for your next event!

Mr. Orlando was great from the start. He listened to our needs and paired us with DJ Bruce based on our music style. Bruce was amazing. All of our guests loved him, he played all of our requested songs plus gave us recommendations of others that our guests would enjoy. I would definitely recommend this DJ!

We loved DJ Orlando!!! He did such an amazing job at our wedding! He played exactly what we asked for and avoided our "do not plays". He got the just of what we wanted and got all of the guests on their feet dancing! He made sure he properly prepared for our big day by doing things like going over the music list with us and making sure he was pronouncing all of our names right. During the ceremony, he even reminded guests of things like our guest book for us! He also checked in with us to make sure everything was to our liking. He is an amazing value for what you get by booking him!

A week or so before the wedding, he did a phone consultation with us where we went over every detail of our wedding to make sure it turned out exactly how we wanted it! Dj Orlando did an amazing job at my wedding this past weekend! He followed our playlist but also read the crowd and played music accordingly. He stuck to our timeline and emceed each tradition perfectly. Everything ran smoothly on my special day. I couldn’t have asked for a better DJ!! I highly recommend using him!
We had DJ Dennis from DJ Orlando Entertainment for our wedding in April, and he was AWESOME! He coordinated sound for the ceremony perfectly, even with an outdoor set up for musicians and officiant on a windy day! Dennis also played all the right songs to get people moving and grooving--and he kept everyone on the dance floor all night! He took some of our favorite songs and read the crowd perfectly. Dennis took care of all the details--including customizing 3 parent-child dances--which made our job to just relax and enjoy the wedding. He made announcements and introduced the wedding party perfectly. He was everything that you hope to have in a DJ for your wedding.

Bruce was great to work with, did a fantastic job with the setup despite not having been to our venue previously, and had an excellent playlist. He coordinated with us as appropriate through the evening and seemed very comfortable with everything throughout our party. We even received compliments from our guests on the music. The only criticism I have is that we heard maybe a couple of songs twice throughout the evening, but everything else was so good I wouldn't think twice about going to DJ Orlando again!

I had Dennis be my DJ at my wedding. He showed up on time and had everything set up and ready to go. I ended up changing my timeline in the middle of the wedding and Dennis didn’t bat an eye and changed it up for me perfectly! He was so helpful with not only the music but guiding people to dinner and the cake cutting, making sure the photographer got the pictures I needed. He was amazing and I’m so happy I had him as my DJ.

David was outstanding!! He helped us plan every aspect of the music. Even when we were late starting the ceremony, he kept everything moving smoothly. My serious highlight of the day.... I was in the back changing, my photographer and videographer were both eating, my Mom apparently started a Congo line and everyone joined!! We didn't even know! About an hour after the wedding, David sent us the video! He knew we weren't there, so he used his phone to record it for us! Over the top amazing! We can't thank him enough.

I'm so glad my husband and I booked DJ Orlando for our wedding. He was organized, had fast communication, was easy to book, and affordable. He took the time to learn and pronounce our wedding part names before the wedding and learn about the style and type of music we really wanted. He also provided some bits of advice during our planning meeting. He truly kept the party going throughout our whole reception, and made me spend most of the night on the dance floor. A DJ really plays an important part of your wedding reception and trust me, you can rely on DJ Orlando to make it memorable and customized for you!

We loved working with David Orlando of DJ Orlando Entertainment for our December 2017 wedding! David was so much fun to work with throughout the entire process. He really listened to what we wanted and made it happen! The MC-ing and music were perfect and made the whole evening a success.
AMAZING!!!!! Truly, the best DJ we could have asked for. David was professional every step of the way, from our initial meeting through the planning and the day itself. I didn't really like wedding planning, so was totally overwhelmed as the date got closer. I had "decision fatigue" and just couldn't make any more decisions. David was super understanding and responsive. I leaned on him for several recommendations, including music for the dinner hour. Wouldn't you know it, I got TONS of compliments on the dinner hour music! My husband and I love to dance, so we wanted our wedding to be a true dance party, and David totally delivered! He had everyone (even the grandmas!) up and dancing the entire night. He rolled with the punches anytime there were changes to the timeline the day of the wedding. He brought the party without making it about him (which I've seen too often with other DJs). He also 100% correctly pronounced our (complicated) last name and the challenging names in our wedding party. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I've already recommended David to a co-worker and will definitely continue to do so!
My Spouse and I used David Orlando (DJ Orlando)’s services for our wedding at the 2640 Space on April 29, 2017. From the first time we spoke to David, we knew he was the DJ for us. We had some concerns about the venue sound, balancing playing music we enjoyed with music people can dance to, we didn’t want a cheesy personality DJ, multiple music set-ups, etc. David took the time to talk us through all of our concerns and made great suggestions for the flow of the music and the day in general. He kept in contact with us and our wedding coordinator as we got closer to the day and we felt completely comfortable with him behind the mic.
DJ Orlando’s services were the best quality and quantity for the price. We thought he was extremely fair. We used a second set-up at our location for the ceremony, and in both the reception area and ceremony room, the sound was flawless.
We insisted on using non-censored versions of certain songs and DJ Orlando was happy to oblige. We have alternative tastes in music, so DJ Orlando helped us to navigate when to play our faves and when to play dance hits. He picked up on things we hadn’t even thought of, like piano instrumentals vs. guitar instrumentals. He confirmed the pronunciation of each of our announced guests with us. He has a nice, subtle Baltimore accent.
Overall, David Orlando did everything in his power to make sure things went smoothly on the day of and that we were happy. The next time I get married (or retire, or throw a bat-mitzvah, etc), I will definitely use DJ Orlando.
We booked DJ Orlando for our wedding at the Chart House in November. We had Bruce as our DJ. My wife did most of the consulting with him during the planning stage, but I met him during the actual event. He was outstanding. Wedding timelines are off the moment the wedding begins, and Bruce rolled with everything. Late busses, long lines to get food, the newly wed game (which he had never done, but I think he liked it!), everything. I realized the importance of having a good DJ the moment the reception began. He was so flexible and personable. During your wedding, you need a DJ that you have absolute confidence in his performance and professionalism. DJ Bruce is that guy. Thank you Bruce and the whole DJ Orlando team. You made our reception fantastic.
Bruce was our DJ and he was awesome! We hit it off during our consultation and felt that Bruce was on the same page regarding the music selection and overall ambiance we wanted for the evening. He was very attentive and dedicated to making sure we were on schedule and communicated with us throughout the evening. He was very accommodating and worked with our wedding planner and soloist for the first dance without ever making it seem like an inconvenience. Overall great experience with this company and would highly recommend Bruce who kept the party going and was never intrusive. Thank you!!

Dave was our DJ and he did a fantastic job! I had interviewed several other DJs but talking on the phone with Dave I was completely at ease and he had a wonderful personality that I knew would suit our wedding just right. He is incredibly organized and wants to make sure that he gives you exactly what you want at your event. He spoke with us initially and then again a month or so before the wedding to make sure that everything was planned out and solidified. He worked with my caterer on the timeline on the day of so that everything would go smoothly and didn't bother us for anything. When we fell behind schedule, he adapted so easily to make sure that we did everything we planned to do. He is professional, personable, and had the right amount of energy and humor to give the event the level of class and light-heartedness that we were going for. He was on time and had everything set up and ready to go. His prices are extremely fair considering we had about 3 different set ups for the event. He would always answer my phone call, even if he was busy at the moment. I would highly recommend Dave and would trust his opinion to go with anyone else that is part of his company.

DJ Orlando is a very organized and professional DJ company. David is outgoing, fun, and understanding. He answers any questions and makes sure that everything will go smoothly on your big day. My bridesmaid actually had him as her DJ a few years back, and just like at my wedding, he did great. His speaker systems and quality of sound were good. No issues or disconnects. My husband and I are a young military couple. We planned our wedding within 7 months and DJ Orlando was GREAT to work with. He always found a way to work with my crazy schedule when planning. Our wedding was beautiful and it wouldn't have been the same without David! The announcements were fantastic and the music was perfect. He found a way to have every single person dancing (kids all the way to grandparents). Everyone truly had a blast, I wouldn't choose any other DJ!!!

David Orlando from DJ Orlando was great! From the very beginning he made my husband and I feel very comfortable and prepared. We had some trouble with the original DJ we had booked over a year in advance. David helped us feel comfortable with the switch and even met us in person so we could talk it over before deciding. He was prepared with all of his paper work (contract/detail sheets etc.).
On the day of the wedding everything went very well! He played all the songs we had give him (we gave him MANY songs) He was enthusiastic and we received several compliments about his demeanor and song choices. Everyone had a great time and guests were dancing the entire time! He even played his Spice girls/BSB 90’s mix! We were huge fans of this mix!

Two of our closest friends used DJ Orlando and Bruce as their DJ at their weddings so we knew we needed Bruce for ours :) He was lively, fun, entertaining, and a great guy! We received so many compliments on the music choice. DJ Orlando wants the music to reflect your style and accomplishes that with their extremely helpful organizer and library of music to choose from. We picked DJ Orlando for our wedding because he was organized, professional, and experienced. We were completely lost when creating a timeline for the wedding reception and he stepped in and helped create the perfect timeline. We loved that he focused on our preferences (songs, flow, etc.) and he even took the time to have his wife phonetically write out the names of our wedding party. He did a great job making announcements and kept everyone on the dance floor the whole night! Couldn't be happier with David!

My husband and I have different taste in music which led to minor arguments about how to proceed with the music. Orlando entertainment was able to fulfill both of our preferences and even played a song again that was on our must play due to obligations with family.
David was fantastic! He was in contact throughout the entire wedding process, and he even calls the week before to get the correct pronunciation of names for the event. More importantly, he talked to us extensively about the music for each section of the event, and pulled off the selections and transitions perfectly. The night of was a blast, and I could not have asked for anyone better.

I couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding day and David Orlando really helped me pull everything together. My husband and I didn't have a clear idea of what we really wanted and gave David some room to play what he wanted along some loose guidelines. We worked with David for our September wedding and if we could give him 10 stars we would! He was so valuable throughout the entire process and did everything he could to make sure that our day went smoothly for us. His overall demeanor from our first consultation to the end of our wedding night was amazing and not only got me excited for the big day but he eased all of concerns and answered all of my MANY questions promptly and consistently. Most importantly he had the entire wedding on the dance floor the whole night! Which was exactly what we requested - and I can assure you he goes out of his way to really understand what "type" of wedding you would like to have. Our venue was very spread out and David easily accommodated 3 set-ups and had many microphone options for our ceremony. The DJ absolutely sets the tone for the entire evening and I could not have been happier with putting our wedding in David's hands.
We used DJ Orlando Entertainment for our wedding on May 30, 2014. We could not have asked for a more professional, but funny disc jockey. He provided us with a helpful event organizer sheet for the reception months in advance. It really helped to keep the reception flowing in the amount of time we had. David met with us 2 weeks before our wedding and was able to provide every song that we asked for. If you could look at our pictures from our reception there always was a large group of guests dancing and having a great time. Everyone that attended still say how great our DJ was and how he kept everyone dancing. I highly recommend using DJ Orlando Entertainment for anyone needing a DJ for their wedding reception.
David was wonderful to work with during the wedding planning process, and was a perfect choice on our wedding day. He paid attention to our crowd and really knew hot to get people dancing.
We worked with Steve from DJ Orlando Entertainment and it was an absolute pleasure. He was professional and personable at every step of the process. He read the crowd at the wedding really well and everyone had a terrific time. He played from our list and threw some extras in there when he sensed what would get the crowd on the dance floor. He coordinated some last minute changes really well (i.e. moving the cake cutting up and getting everyone outside for fireworks). He also took notes from my maid of honor towards the end of the night and we all ended up having the best night of our lives.
My maid of honor almost gave him a heart attack with her speech when she started off with a joke about rapping her toast. I realize now we should have warned him!!
Overall we had an amazing time and DJ Steve did a wonderful job.
Additionally, David Orland was very professional as well. He was very responsive to me and out of all the DJs I contacted, the information he provided with the proposal was by far the most comprehensive. I felt comfortable with him and his team from the beginning.
The most important thing at my wedding was - gasp!- the music. DJ David Orlando was PERFECT! He made me feel completely at ease with his planner which organized the music and schedule of events months beforehand, and he met with me right before the big day to make sure he knew exactly what I wanted. I literally danced through dinner right up until the reception was over. We even booked him for an extra hour on the spot! It was the most fun party ever because the music was perfect. I am not exaggerating when I say this guy made my whole wedding. I just wanted to dance, and DJ Orlando definitely did that for me. What a blast! Thank you David!
We had DJ Orlando at our wedding last month, he was fantastic! He was very quick to respond to any questions I had before the wedding. Everyone was on the dance floor all night, he played all the music I requested and did a really great job of incorporating similar songs into the play list. DJ Orlando is a must!

David is very attentive making sure any song selected was the exact version we wanted. He followed our time script perfectly and made wise adjustments after consulting with us when necessary.

This company is very professional and organized. All bases were covered during my wedding. They worked with my other vendors very well. The DJ knew what to play at what time of the night. The specialty dances were back to back and then the dance floor opened up and my guests had a blast until the end of the night. At no point during the night, did the dance floor clear out or lull. Everyone had fun because the DJ knew what he was doing. He was also great at keeping us updated on how much time we had until the next event, which is very important on your wedding night.
Dave Orlando and DJ Steve were great to work with. Dave was flexibile with our rotating list of songs and ideas before the wedding and offered some great suggestions. I was able to meet with DJ Steve before the wedding and his personality was exactly what we had in mind. The night of the wedding he did a great job keeping us on schedule, reminding us of what was coming up. I highly recomend them!!
