Pete was a phenomenal DJ. He made the effort to understand what sort of music we wanted for our wedding, did a great job at the wedding itself (our dance floor was packed!), and the whole time he did so with a friendly, genuinely caring attitude that was very much appreciated on our wedding day. Words can’t describe how amazing Pete was for our wedding! Our event space was actually a music venue and he immediately adapted his normal process to accommodate our venue. He worked so well with the event staff to integrate his playlist to their lighting. He also followed our music requests and personalized the selection to us. He was so kind, responsive, and professional throughout the whole process. I would recommend him for any event and I hope to attend an event he’s the DJ at in the future!

DJ Pete was sooo amazing to work with! From how easy he made the planning process for us, his quick and helpful emails and ideas! I ended up sending him a few last minute changes day off and he responded right away and said "sounds good"! When I had arrived day of some decorations where still being set up so I went to start helping and he told me he would take care it, something not even close to being his job but still offered to help with other things. We can't thank Pete enough for everything and we are so glad we got to work with him!

We can't say enough good things about DJ Pete! As a DJ, Pete really delivered. He played music through our cocktail hour and dinner then got everyone dancing. He seamlessly blended our somewhat eclectic music tastes with songs from his library. He even took a few requests from guests and incorporated them in a very natural way. Everyone was raving about the music and kept dancing as night went on! And as a person and professional, Pete was exceptionally easy to work with both leading up to our wedding and on the day-of — he's an excellent communicator, very flexible, and truly took the extra care to make our wedding day special. He perfectly adapted and catered to our unconventional venue, had no issue with our intentional lack of a lot of reception traditions (first dances, announcements, speeches, etc.), and was even providing a helping hand to other vendors. DJ Pete brought the party to our wedding! He kept everyone on the dancefloor and played music appealing to all ages; he was also a great emcee. You don't realize how important an emcee is for your wedding day! It's very, very important. Pete made essential announcements throughout the night, like our wedding party/bride/groom introductions, and he also made other announcements, like when our trolley was leaving and when the late-night snacks were coming out. Not only did Pete emcee and provide great music throughout the night, but he also provided lights for our reception room and a microphone/speakers for our ceremony. After our wedding, Pete provided us with a recording of our ceremony, which we didn't think we wanted at the time, but I think it'll be great to listen to years later. I highly recommend working with Pete! He was professional, friendly, and helped make our wedding so much fun! Thank you, Pete!

There’s no need to go looking for a wedding DJ, because Pete should be your guy! Pete DJ’d our wedding, but did a whole lot more than just provide a rocking dance floor. Pete is a master of all things audio and visual. He set up the ceremony space (outside on a windy day with no audio issues), up lighting for the dance floor and our photo wall, and there is no one better to get your guests up and moving than him. We used Pete for our wedding on June17th, 2023. Working with Pete was fabulous! He was easy to communicate with, was thorough and detail oriented, and was very go with he flow! he accommodated our last minute changes and everything went perfect on our special day!

We chose DJ Pete because we didn't want to work through a DJ service. Pete seemed professional and experienced. At our first meeting, we could tell that he was the right choice because he was friendly, accommodating, and told us that getting people up to dance was his specialty! One of my husband's main priorities for the wedding was dancing, so this hooked us immediately. He offers recordings of the ceremony, as well as the toast speeches. In addition, he provides uplighting for the dance floor and during the reception. I recommend this service because his lighting makes the dance space look inviting and fun. I cannot speak enough to Pete's responsiveness and attentiveness. He edited our first dance song and was able to cut it to our desired length within 2 days of my email request. He helped us create a timeline for the day's events and discussed in detail the way he would make announcements, and say our names and the names of our family members. In the week leading up to our wedding, I emailed and texted him with several updates and announcements I wanted him to make. He took note of each and made every announcement as we requested. The day of the wedding was a blast. The ceremony music was well timed, our entrances were fun, our first dance went seamlessly, and everyone hit the dance floor! Our guests loved DJ Pete, and his music was perfectly tailored to our crowd and our tastes, based on the form we provided him. There was overall a good mix of music that everyone enjoyed. He set up and took down all of his own equipment. Pete was a pleasure to work with. Professional, friendly, and great at what he does.

Pete is my absolute favorite person!! We hired him for our wedding in November and since our first contact he was just so sweet and accommodating and wanted to do anything he could to make our special day the best possible. He came with a glowing recommendation from my sister (whose an event planner) because of how well he listens and caters to what the clients want and also how early and prepared he arrives to every single event. He was so communicative beforehand and has a form that you fill out that really helps him get a feel for you and what you like and did awesome building a playlist off that for the whole night. And if you're booking with Pete, get the extra lighting package!! I had no idea how much lighting could change a space until I saw it. He literally created a backlight color for the whole room based off our decor and it just tied the whole space together in the most amazing way. And once dancing began, the light effects definitely help get the party going. Pete added such a sweet, calm, but also upbeat vibe to our day and did so well to keep things moving smoothly throughout the night and getting people on the dancefloor and keeping me and my husband happy and having the night of our lives!! Pete's just the best and I would recommend him 100x over!!

It has been almost two weeks since our wedding, and we still can't stop talking about how amazing DJ Pete was. From our very first conversation with Pete we knew that he would understand our vision for the wedding. My husband and I are very into music and that is a huge part of our relationship, so we were pretty picky when it came to hiring a DJ haha. But Pete stepped up to the plate and exceeded all our expectations. He was extremely responsive throughout the whole process and it was great to finally meet him in person on the day. He is such a warm presence and helped relieve any stress we may have had. The sound from the ceremony, to cocktail hour, to the reception was perfect. We had a very windy outdoor ceremony and the sound was crystal clear. We could be heard perfectly over the microphone. And this was no different for the speeches during dinner. The music was top notch! Once the cake was cut I don't think I left the dance floor once! He listened to exactly what we wanted and we had an amazing time. Hiring DJ Pete was one of the best choices that my now-husband and I made for our wedding day. Believe the glowing reviews. On a personal level: he's kind, very likable and overall just a friendly, warm presence on a hectic day. On a professional level: he is an expert. He was receptive to our ideas and made them better. The music at our reception was perfect. We are both fairly low-key people and wanted to create a fun atmosphere without leaning heavily on cheesy hits or overly hype-y music/commentary. DJ Pete nailed it. Everyone was dancing and the night felt like a real reflection of us. His supplementary lighting was also very cool, and the sound was crystal clear for the ceremony/toasts. And, within days, he sent us an audio file of our ceremony- which we didn't even know we needed (but are so glad to have.) Thanks again for being one of the best parts of our wedding day!

DJ Pete is the best! We are so happy he was part of our wedding day this past weekend at The Red Barn. He was incredibly easy to work with, accommodating to all of our requests and just so darn nice. Pete was wonderful! He really listened to what my husband and I wanted and the environment that we wanted to set. He was accommodating of some specific songs and start points that we wanted and helped me keep my processional song a surprise for the groom! He helped to drive the schedule of the night which was greatly appreciated as we were a backyard wedding, and he was flexible which was great since it was a rainy day and we had to transition the ceremony location the day of. Perhaps the best part was that he picked up on the general love of LOTR in the group and played music from the movies during dinner! We loved how well he read the room and adjusted the music. He was responsive from the start, easy to work with, did a great job on setting up the lights for our venue and DJ’ing the event. We cannot say enough good things about Pete. From our initial communications, he was so friendly and responsive. We had a very organized sheet with fill out which really helped us think of all the special touches for the big day. We had a zoom with him to prepare and he really made sure to clarify everything so he could nail it on our big day and he did! Pete audio recorded the ceremony which is something we will always treasure. He added so many touches that really set the tone for the reception. Even during dinner, we heard so many songs we loved. It was very clear he looked at our music selections and choose dinner music just for us. He coordinated the uplighting to match our venue and it looked amazing. We chose Pete to be the DJ for our wedding at Quonquont farm and I would highly recommend him to other brides! He did a great job at getting my family and friends out on the dance floor even though they are not usually big dancers! When looking for a DJ I knew that I didn't want a DJ that would be annoying on the microphone throughout the reception but you do not need to worry about that with Pete. He lets his knowledge of music do all the work and he is very friendly and professional! He also set up speakers for our ceremony and the sound quality was excellent. Would definitely choose him again!

I highly recommend hiring Pete for your upcoming event. A few key points about Pete: 1. He is very responsive to emails and phone calls and even proactively followed up with reminders, etc. 2. He did a site visit with us months before the wedding to fully understand the acoustic and lighting needs for the outdoor ceremony and indoor dance floor areas. He nailed this on our wedding day. 3. When questions came up or decisions needed to be made with the venue, Pete was there with suggestions and ready to participate. 4. He gladly accepted our music requests and suggestions. He flawlessly executed playing key songs post-ceremony, first dance, last dance - no glitches. 5. We provided him with more than enough songs for the 3 hours of dancing. He was a true professional and read the crowd perfectly keeping the dance floor moving for 3 HOURS! No lags, no awkward moments, just pure dance fun. 6. The recordings he provides of the ceremony and toasts are priceless. I’ve listened to them a few times already and it’s only 2 weeks post-wedding. 7. He took care of all logistics for his equipment, set-up, removal. We really did not know he was there doing this behind the scenes. 8. Last thing - he’s are really nice guy! Easy to work with, no drama, no crazy DJ/MC antics. Aside from keeping the dance floor going for 3 hours, this is really important. I could go on but contact Pete and see for yourself.

Pete was fantastic and we couldn't recommend him more! He made planning easy by having us fill out a sheet with our timeline, the songs we wanted for specific moments in the evening, and the type of music we like. Communicating with him was easy and he was very responsive over email. On the day of the wedding he arrived early to set up and check that everything was working perfectly. Pete also did the lighting and we were thrilled with the results! He created a perfect amber glow that provided some sunshine during our indoor ceremony on a grey rainy day, and later changed the vibe for the dancing. Pete made sure to learn to correctly pronounce everyone's names and was extremely accommodating with a last minute request to incorporate foreign songs. He immediately put us at ease with his friendly down to earth personality, but is also very professional and provided great sound quality for the ceremony and reception. Most importantly, Pete's music choices were spot on! He really understood what we like and played the music we love while also mixing in fun songs to get everyone dancing.

Me and my wife hired Pete after speaking with him on the phone a few times and feeling comfortable that he was going to be able to deal with our unique music preferences. We were hoping to have the music be more in line with our tastes rather than the typical music you hear at weddings, and Pete was more than happy to help. Pete showed up earlier than expected in order to get the outdoor ceremony speakers set up and situated so that we could get our first look and family photos completed without any background interference. The music during the ceremony was great and his speaker system sounded amazing. He even recorded the ceremony so we could listen later, which will definitely come in handy. We gave Pete a list of a few songs we wanted to hear at various points throughout the night, and asked him to fill in the remaining time with more traditional songs he thought would work well with the vibe we wanted. Pete killed it! He made great transitions from songs we requested to other music, to the point where I couldn't remember if the song he was playing was something I had asked him to play. He even found a live version of a song by the artist Borns that we liked better than the studio version so we could have for our first dance. Pete seamlessly took requests and then used those requests to complete the playlist. Both me and my wife loved the music and our friends and family had a blast dancing to some of the songs he played. Throughout the whole process Pete was a calming presence and at no point did I feel like I had to stress about the music or the role he played. We would hire Pete again if we could.

Pete was the DJ for our outdoor wedding and I can't say enough about him! Our guests keep talking about how great the music was. We got married in a park and I wasn't sure about how a dance party would go over but boy did it happen! Pete really read the crowd and played music that kept everyone dancing throughout the night. He checked in with us to make sure we were happy with how things were going, and he even covered for me when I messed up my parents' wedding song! Pete is very easy to communicate with and down to earth. I recommend Pete 100%!
