I can't even begin to express how incredible our experience with Pete was. He's an amazing DJ and on top of it he's like, the nicest, coolest dude around. We had an outdoor, DIY wedding that required a lot of moving parts, especially when it came to the electricity so we had a million questions for Pete and he was super communicative, responsive and knowledgeable. He created amazing playlists for the wedding based on our preferences and was willing and ready to pivot whenever we needed a vibe shift. He read the crowd really well and any time we specifically requested a shift he was super game. Pete's not just chillin while he's working either, he's full on JAMMING the whole time!! Listen, don't think twice, just call Pete!! You won't regret it. 10 out of 10!!

We loved working with DJ Peter! He has a great vibe and immediately made us feel at ease. He listened to our requests and music tastes and brought great energy to the night as well as to announcing our various wedding events. Pete was the best!! We clicked with him from our first meeting, because he made us feel so at ease and taken care of. He had answers to all our questions, including ones that we didn't even know to ask. And omg, the wedding was the most fun I've ever had. He had everyone (regardless of age or dancing ability) out on the dance floor all night and transitioned seamlessly and cleverly between genres (we wanted a mix of pop, r&b, Latin, etc.) and all of our guests raved about him. The whole room was electric and so joyful and I was only sorry we couldn't make the moment last forever. It was such a delight to see all our favorite people having such a blast. DJ Peter Piper is, without a doubt, undisputed, the *best* DJ there ever was. I haven't written this review yet because I didn't know if I could possibly find the words to properly credit his creativity, professionalism, dedication, energy, and quality of service. His mixes are unlike anyone else's. He is SO MUCH FUN and had every single person at our wedding dancing the ENTIRE NIGHT - no matter their age! He had something for EVERYONE and EVERYONE agreed that his set was better than any dj they've ever heard play, wedding or otherwise. Additionally, Peter is a SWEETHEART and just an all around standup guy. He is a wonderful, patient, kind mannered, funny person and should win every award. Long story short - best in the entire DJ industry, not just weddings. Go to his sets at bars. Hire him or recommend him for your events. LONG LIVE DJ PETER PIPER!!

We did a lot of research into DJs for our wedding to compare transitions, music taste, energy level, and talent. Peter was the top of the pack for us, and he was fantastic! He was super helpful and kind and chill-but-very-professional in the preparation, making us feel at ease. He made sure ahead of time that everything would be in place and lined up with our venue so that the wedding day would run smoothly. At the wedding, he delivered a perfect mix of the disco, pop, Motown, etc. that we wanted and included a range of eras to appeal to all of our guests. His transitions between songs were quick, effective, and they kept the flow of the night going seamlessly. Throughout the entire night, he was dancing and giving incredible energy to keep the crowd hyped, and he also was efficient, professional, and great as an emcee. We would highly recommend Peter as a DJ who is a warm, friendly person who can guide you through the process and then deliver high energy, wonderful music, and a seamless flow for your event!

Absolutely amazing DJ! As my daughter, the bride had told me, "his transitions are like butter!" He played music for people of all ages. He also sang and danced along throughout the whole reception, without stopping. I HIGHLY recommend this DJ. He is THEE BEST!!!

From our first call with Pete, we knew he was the perfect DJ for our wedding. His calm demeanor and ability to read a room was exactly what we were looking for, and Pete delivered in every way. He listened to our requests prior to the wedding and worked with us to create multiple playlists for every part of the day. He brought the most infectious positive energy that so many of our guests were raving about (some even saying how they wish they had him for their weddings!). We really appreciated his on the fly flexibility to accommodate last second requests. Everything from the ceremony music through to the end of the night was executed perfectly, which ensured that ourselves and our guests had an absolute blast. We cannot recommend him enough!

My wife and I meticulously researched and interviewed multiple DJs for our wedding, and we both felt an instant connection with Peter, which paid off! Working with him on the playlist and the show flow felt like we were working with someone that we have known for years. His music recommendations and curation of songs that we like drew compliments from many, if not all of our guests. After having been to 30+ weddings in my lifetime, I know the DJ makes or breaks the wedding and generally determines how much fun people have. DJ Peter Piper was absolutely phenomenal and single-handedly made our wedding a memorable one. He gave us an incredible party with our friends that we will never forget. He worked with us on 3 separate calls on the playlist before the wedding (and gave fair and honest feedback on what was going to get people dancing and what wouldn't, since I'm pretty picky with music) and absolutely delivered the night of. I've seen a lot of wedding DJs who just sort of stand there and play songs on a computer but Peter was really getting into it and I could tell was having as much fun as we were which created a really amazing vibe overall. Amazingly, he was also significantly cheaper than a lot of other DJs we talked to. We could not recommend him more highly and we are so thrilled and thankful that he was the DJ for our special day.

DJ Peter Piper is more than a DJ. Simply put, he is an atmosphere engineer. He made my entire wedding feel iconic; so much so, multiple people came up to me during my wedding to tell me how he is hands-down the best DJ at a wedding they have ever heard. Not only was he so collaborative, so as to make sure the songs we wanted were played, but he included songs that made it so no one left the dance floor at any point. He has a deep knowledge of the eras of music we were interested in (70s; 80s; 00s) and just seamlessly blended them. He was such a pleasure to work with and just unbelievably talented and kind!

DJ Peter Piper was absolutely perfect!!! We spoke prior to the wedding a handful of times to talk about the mood and feel we were looking for. Pete also set up a playlist for us ahead of time to see what songs we do and don’t like as well as timing and speeches. The actual day of the celebration he totally came through in terms of reading the room and understanding the mood everyone was in! He was perfect and the evening was perfect!

We hired DJ Peter Piper for our June 2023 wedding at the Wythe Hotel and he absolutely killed it on the mic and off. His ability to read the room and play to the crowd was great. He took our instructions well, yet he was able to use his intuition to keep the dance floor packed all night with the same vibe. He also did a great job with the ceremony music, cocktail music, and dinner music. Further, during the wedding he was communicative and made sure to cue us in for things on the timeline. He also sends you the party playlist beforehand to make sure there are no surprises and speaks to you about all of the small details in order to make the music exactly what you have imagined for your day. We went through the day without a worry about the music. From the start of dancing to the end of dancing, our guests had A BALL. They're still talking about how great the music was weeks later! As a young Black couple, we also appreciated how up to date he is to the culture and how he progressed from pop to uncut hip-hop through the evening to our request. 10/10, one of the best vendors we hired. Hire him! You will not regret it!

We can't recommend Pete highly enough. He was extremely friendly and responsive, and he truly made things so much easier. Everything went perfectly on the wedding day. He made sure everyone had a great time and seemed like he was having a great time too! We're so happy we found him.

Pete was perfect! Super friendly and easy to work with. We coordinated with him to pick out the songs and vibe we were looking for and he ran with it. So many guests have told us how much they loved the music; the dance floor was full all night!

DJ Peter was amazing and transformed our wedding reception into a dance party in August. We found Peter through BPM Events and loved listening to his sample mixes. They made us dance in our seats and after a quick call with Peter, we knew he was the one! He was genuine and expressed how excited he was to DJ at our wedding, which really made us feel special. For the music choices, we were initially nervous since we didn’t know enough party songs and couldn’t decide which genres we wanted to play. Peter took time to give suggestions, understand what we liked, and was super patient with all the special requests we had. He took our list of songs and transformed it into a killer playlist that was perfect for our music taste. We needed Peter to also announce formalities and help transition the wedding events for us. He took the part of the wedding we were most worried about and made it look so easy. The dance floor was occupied all night long and so many friends complimented on how awesome our DJ was during and after the wedding. I highly recommend Peter if you are looking for a fun, thoughtful, and organized DJ with amazing mixing skills.

Peter was the perfect DJ for our wedding - he listened to our music preferences while adding his own twist to craft the perfect playlist that our friends and family have not stopped talking about a month after our wedding. He was also a warm and fun presence at our wedding and was extremely accommodating dealing with multiple postponements due to Covid. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and we’re already thinking of our next excuse to book him for a party. Do not hesitate to book him for your wedding!

Music was by far and away the most important element to us for our wedding, and Peter knocked it out of the park. TLDR - if you care about having a killer dance party at your wedding hire him. You won't regret it. Peter is not the traditional wedding DJ who just passively throws on a generic set list of top 40 from the last two decades and kicks back. During the planning process he worked closely with us to design a set list that reflected our diverse musical taste and the type of dance party we wanted to have at our reception, making thoughtful suggestions on additional songs that really helped to bring the overall set list together. While we had a strong point of view on what we wanted for our wedding music - it was also clear that Peter is the type of flexible DJ who could just have easily taken a few sentences of guidance from us to craft an amazing experience. He is definitely a seasoned pro. Then on the night of the wedding he was able to read the room, making the types of on-the-fly adjustments that you would expect from a proper DJ to get everybody on the dance floor. Beyond that - he brought so much energy to what he was doing - every time I glanced up at the stage Peter was jumping and dancing as hard as anyone on the floor - creating the type of energy that you could really feed off. Honestly - I don't think I've ever danced so hard in my whole life, and that's exactly what we wanted. It was truly amazing. It's now been a month since our wedding and while the high of that night has started to recede, Peter's set remains as one of the highlights of the night and the thing that our friends are still raving to us about.

Peter was the perfect wedding DJ! He kept the dance floor moving all night. He asked for a small playlist of songs to understand what vibes we wanted and used that to choose the rest of the music. He really incorporated our tastes and then added a few fun curveballs. It was so fun, even our shyer family members danced! We got tons of compliments about him from guests of all ages. On top of that, he really helped us square out our reception schedule so it made sense and was totally on top of helping sure things moved along. Almost sad this is my only wedding because I’d love to have Peter DJ for me again!

Peter was great. We had 3 calls before the wedding including the week of in order to make sure he could give us the exact wedding music/flow we wanted. He made sure to learn the entire timeline of our event and communicated with the venue as well as the av company to make sure everything was taken care of. He kept people on the dance floor and gave us the exact music style we had conveyed to him. He was a great communicator and a great DJ. He will tailor your event to exactly what you want. The venue was extraordinarily hot, and he didn't complain at all (most people would have). He was dressed very well and was professional as can be. Hire him. You won't regret it.

We hired DJ Peter Piper to emcee our wedding and we were 100% delighted! Pete is not just musically talented, with an impressive collection of songs & a great taste - he also knows how to read the room and adapt to the crowd's mood. If we had one person come up to us during the wedding to tell us that Pete was the best DJ they had ever experienced, it must have been all 200 of our guests. Seriously. We have had at least 80% of our guests ask for the playlists from our reception. He had my partner's grandparents dropping ass on the dance floor for hours. On that note, the dance floor was not empty for even a second of the night, even before our first dance. The floor was so packed, people were dancing at their tables, outside the tent, under the stars, and apparently even in the bathrooms! My legs still hurt (in the best way possible)! From the beginning, Pete was extremely communicative, kind, fun, and just an absolute dream to work with. We have a very broad taste in music, and he spent hours helping us hone in on our vision for the flow throughout the day (a lot more difficult than it sounds). We created some playlists for the vibe, and he pulled a lot of music straight from our selections, as well as put in a ton of his own superb choices. We had a very specific vision for our ceremony, which he executed perfectly; folks are still reaching out to us to talk about it! Our venue also intends to put him and BPM Events on their preferred vendors list (between you and I, our venue said that Pete is the best DJ to ever have performed there). Throughout the day when our timeline got a little wonky, Pete was there to roll with the punches, and helped us get back on track, as well as make some last-minute adjustments that wouldn't have been possible without him as the amazing MC. Pete was an absolute honor to work with, and in general is just an all-around fun, sweet, energetic, musical genius with a heart of gold. Thank you, Pete! We hope to see you out in the real world sometime soon!

We are so glad we picked DJ Peter Piper for our wedding at The Brooklyn Winery! Peter was incredible to work with from start to finish. He gave us great ideas for our songs and worked with us extensively on the format of our wedding in a very short period of time. He's also an awesome emcee, funny and warm and just the perfect person to conduct the flow of the reception. Peter was a dream to work with - super accommodating with schedule and our atypical day-of timeline, arrived early and stayed late, honored all of our song requests, gracious, thoughtful and a total professional. We hired BPM Events because they were on our wedding venue recommended vendors list and ended up working with DJ Peter Piper (Peter Toussaint.) And it was one of the BEST decisions we made!! We literally lost count of the number of people who told us afterwards that Peter was the best wedding DJ they had ever heard! Guests of all ages loved the mix he created and he had an amazing intuition for which song should come next and how to perfectly blend them together! People were on the dance floor literally the whole night and it was a blast getting to dance with everyone for such a long time. Peter was punctual, communicative and friendly throughout the whole process. Before the event, Peter had several calls with us, just to make sure he totally understood the flow of the evening and was happy to make any announcements we requested throughout the night. We gave him two Spotify playlists in advance, and he played many of the songs we suggested while adding several other songs we hadn't thought of ourselves but fit our vibe perfectly. It's also clear he LOVES his job and his energy and enthusiasm was infectious as he danced along in the DJ booth. We really hope he will be DJ-ing at other weddings we attend, because he certainly knows how to set a phenomenal vibe and throw an unforgettable party!!!!
