early payment rather than paying in September when it was initially due from the contract. We were receiving the rest of the funds as a gift so I let him know that we would be paying closer to the due date. After we sent in final payment in September, I reached out since I had not heard anything from him to see if we were still good for the 3rd of October and asked what I needed to get to him. He let me know we were all good for the 3rd and to send over our schedule. I sent him our Spotify playlists and schedule. Error on my end for not checking in sooner but falsely putting my confidence in him that he would show up, he did not show when he said he would. I texted him, heard nothing. My sister and bridesmaids tried calling and no answer. We had been left with no DJ. Luckily my brother in law found another DJ last minute but I hadn’t heard from him until I got a text from him at 9:47pm the night of our wedding. He told me he had gotten in an accident and his equipment got damaged but had been trying to contact other DJs to fill in the night before but could not find a replacement. Though he was supposedly talking to other DJs, he couldn’t text me at all and did not let us know whatsoever. I would have appreciated atleast a text at that time so we could maybe find another on our own but was ghosted and hadn’t heard back. My sister has been trying to contact him while we were trying to enjoy our honeymoon and he had taken a long time to get back to her. We are still waiting on our refund, but not sure if we will see it back. After the wedding and guests hearing about what happened, I have gotten a response from atleast 3 other guests stating that he did this to someone they know. Later we found out he had other gigs that he attended right after ours when his equipment was supposedly damaged and his own wedding. If I had known this happened several times before, I would definitely have thought twice about booking him. This was super important to me to have a DJ that could play both English and Spanish music for both of our families and guests but we did not get to enjoy that with everyone and had to work most of the time for dancing to help the other DJ to create a last minute playlist.

It was clear he has extensive experience with weddings, and he walked us through the flow of the day while offering thoughtful suggestions that gave us confidence everything would run smoothly. He was genuine, thoughtful, personable & flexible and fun! He shared examples of both his DJ and MC skills, and we have no doubt he knows how to keep the energy up and the dance floor full all night. His communication and follow-through were exceptional—he was responsive, organized, flexible, and always followed up promptly, which made the planning process so much easier. Although we ultimately chose to go with a family friend due to an unexpected financial situation, Andreas was one our top choice. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for an experienced, talented, and reliable DJ for their wedding or special event that is flexible and genuine about making your day the best!
