Dimitry made our wedding unforgettable!

He did an awesome job DJ-ing our wedding! We are Christian and asked him to avoid anything with swears or even suggestible and he completely knocked it out of the park! Everyoneloved the playlist and we all had such an amazing night! I would absolutely recommend proper Dimitry!

DJ ProperDimitry was the perfect person to DJ our wedding. We got married a little over a month ago but had begun speaking with Dimitry around October of last year. From our very first phone call, we could tell that he was the right person for the job. His energy was infectious and it was clear that he truly cared about making our wedding day the absolute best that it could be. When we were discussing what we wanted the vibes of the wedding to be, Dimitry said he would match the energy that we brought, and he did way more than that. We had a wide variety of ages and ethnicities as guests and wanted to make sure that everyone would feel welcome on the dance floor, while also having the music simultaneously represent us. Dimitry weaved together a playlist that had the dance floor jumping all night long. Even my grandmother (who is in a wheelchair) spent the night dancing in her chair. Additionally, we had asked Dimitry to mash up two very different songs for our first dance and he mixed them together so well, you would have thought they were produced that way. When speaking with our guests, many of them said it was the best and most fun wedding they had been to and that was in no small part thanks to the work Dimitry put in. If you have any kind of event and need a DJ/MC to keep the party, not only going, but thriving, DJ ProperDimitry is your guy.

Dimitry absolutely killed it--had people dancing the ENTIRE reception! We gave him vibes that we were looking for, and he took that and ran in the best way. He was very detailed with going over the entire day with us 2 months before the wedding, telling us exactly what he needed from us. Not only was he a fantastic DJ, he was just a joy to have! We completed trusted him with coming up with a fire playlist and he did. Couldn't recommend Dimitry any more!

Dimitry did an excellent job DJing our wedding! I really appreciated how detailed he was in our initial meeting and our longer meeting closer to the day. He asked lots of good questions to really understand exactly the vibe we wanted. He nailed the timing of all the music for our ceremony, entrances, etc., picked out the perfect background music for dinner, and then had the dance floor packed all night with songs that my guests and I loved! I also paid for uplighting with him and it turned out perfect! Lastly, he was great at coordinating with our friend who sang and played guitar during cocktail hour to get her set up with all the proper equipment.
My only complaint would be that communication was a bit difficult at times leading up the wedding. Our emails seemed not to reach each other a couple times (or at least his didn't reach me) so I would have appreciated more/sooner follow up through different means.
But overall a good experience and very happy with the service on the day! I would definitely recommend DJ Dimitry to other couples!

He communicated with us clearly, guided us through our music selection, and offered up some fun ways to get the crowd going. He made our reception a blast and we're so thankful we found him. Dimitry was a pleasure to work with from our very first call with him. He was organized and engaged in the lead up to our wedding, and made sure everything we needed was covered and detailed. On the day of, Dimitry acted both as emcee throughout the night as well as DJ for the dance portion. He got everyone’s names right, which sounds like a small thing but just shows his attention to detail and ensuring that it all was so personal to us. Everything felt seamless throughout the evening and the AV set-up worked great. Dimitry was able to keep everyone on the dance floor for more than two hours as we closed out the evening. He was able to blend both the songs we had offered as guidance with his own sense of the rhythm and flow of the dance floor, and there was never a dull moment. Dimitry was able to take our craziest ideas and run with them without missing a beat, and it made the whole night incredibly special and memorable, both for ourselves and for our guests.

It was wonderful to work with DJ ProperDimitry for our wedding ceremony and reception! All of the music for the special moments (processions, entrances, special dances) went off with on cue and with no issues. He MCed wonderfully as well and brought the right tone of fun to all of the announcements. We danced the night away and I still have friends asking me for the wedding playlists days after the wedding! We were so happy to work with Dimitry this past weekend!! He was extremely attentive and patient and worked with our personalities and preferences! He was a great MC that knew how to get everyone hyped without being over the top and really paid attention to our body language as cues for when to start or stop something. Our friends and family all told us that they were really impressed with his skills as a DJ, and we couldn't agree more: his transitions were smooth, especially given the variety of our tastes, and his timing was perfect. He sent us a mix beforehand and we knew we made the right choice. We're really thankful that he also took some time to dance with us and our guests (and he's a great dancer)!

DJ is a true pro. He played at our wedding celebration over the spring and honestly, we threw some curveball at him. Mom got sick so we had to mix up the First Dances and entrances (she ended up Ok.). He rolled with the mid-reception program changes smoothly --we felt *a lot* better seeing that he had our back onstage. Good DJ too --good music selection, got the party moving, brought something for everyone on the guest list, easy to work with at the meetings. We are really glad we had hired him at the end of Wedding Day.

DJ Proper did a great job providing music for our wedding! He provided the entrance music for the ceremony, the music for cocktail hour, and of course the music for the reception. For each, he built an entire soundtrack around our favorite songs... and what are now our new favorite songs. From the first call we had with DJ Proper, we told him that we were looking for the music to provide the pulse of our wedding, and he delivered! The music was one of the highlights of our ceremony and reception.. our guests were on the dancefloor all night, and they kept telling us for the next week about how much they loved DJ Proper.

He was confident, calm, collected, and super FUN during our wedding day. From my knowledge, not one thing went wrong. Dimitry did an INCREDIBLE job at our wedding!! Our ceremony went flawlessly. We requested both the processional and recessional songs to start at specific spots and he did it exactly as we asked!! We had a specific vibe we were going for during the reception and he was able to take all of our requests and blend it into the perfect playlist for the night! The announcements of the bridal party were exciting and very professional. The night went so smoothly & every part flowed right into the next because of Dimitry! We recommend him 100%!!!!

I hired PROPERDIMITRY to host and dj an event that I was planning. He absolutely killed it!!! If you are looking for someone that can read a crowd and keep the energy up than I would 11/10 recommend him! The guests loved him!
