We hired DJ Raj entertainment for our wedding. They completed the baraat which our guests said was the best part of the whole wedding! They kept the crowd hype and everyone had a great time even in the cold. They kept the whole rest of the day flowing making sure everything was staying on schedule with the ceremony and reception. THe music played by DJ Amlan got the crowd going. We got a lot of compliments after the wedding from our guests on how much they loved the DJ and MC. Also sound quality was amazing. Have been to several weddings where the quality of sound is really bad but no flaws throughout the night. The only thing I would have changed is that I provided a list of songs I wanted to hear in the night but not too many of them were played. It was fine though because if I really wanted a song played I requested it and the DJ played it immediately after. Overall great vibes, and great time!

DJ Raj and his team produced such incredible weekend wedding multiple nights and ceremonies, the lighting and sparklers were stunning and we received so many compliments. The music was perfect, as the bride and groom, we didn’t leave the dance floor either night!! Thank you for working with us and throwing us the event of a lifetime!! DJ Raj and his team are incredibly talented and we appreciated the attention to detail and energy so much. They did such a fantastic job incorporating music to all tastes. The MC’ing was on point. DJ Raj had a very professional initial consultation with us. We had a mixed hindu/western wedding and DJ Raj put us at ease with his experience in handling similar events. We interviewed a few other DJs but DJ Raj was the most professional. I (the white groom) felt confident that DJ Raj could guide my side through the Hindu parts with ease. About one month out from our wedding, we had another consultation where DJ Raj gave us a very well organized sheet to fill out with details. After the call, we listed all of the songs we wanted and a detailed timeline of the day. DJ Raj also offered guidance on the positioning of the DJ booth during the day and other details. At about a week out, we finalized the document and everything was set. The day kicked off with a baraat on consisting of both sides of our new family and DJ Raj got everyone dancing. It was great! He played a mix of Bollywood and top 40 music that everyone could dance to and made sure that everyone felt included. Both ceremonies went well. All the music was played right on queue and the MC kept all announcements tasteful. During the reception, the party was on fire. The MC kept everyone on the dancefloor and the music was just what everyone needed and they kept it going until the very end. The equipment was good and could handle a big venue. There were no issues throughout the day with mics cutting out or anything of that nature. The pricing is straightforward and matched the services provided. There were no surprises on that front. I would definitely hire DJ Raj again!

Raj was incredible from day 1. He was incredibly responsive from our initial meeting, and through all the wedding ups and downs (such as rescheduling due to COVID-19), he was more than just our DJ - he helped counsel us through so many things, beyond just music. We considered ourselves lucky to be a customer of his. Beyond that - he and his partner Amlan were a TON of fun at the wedding itself. He played the perfect music for every event and the crowd could not stop talking about how good the two of them were. They were so good at pumping up the crowd when we needed energy and also slowing things down at the appropriate time. We would recommend Raj and his team in a heart beat.

10/10 recommend! DJ Raj did an amazing job with my fusion wedding. He was great at keeping the audience excited and dancing, especially during the Baraat playing American songs that my husband's side got excited about! My mom's only complaint was that not enough Indian songs were played during the reception and the American songs were classics that the rest of the guests loved but my mom didn't know so she got a little bored. That being said, DJ Raj catered to our guests for sure and we got nothing but great comments from our guests about the music! DJ Raj definitely saw what the crowd enjoyed and continued to play music to ensure they had the best time. Would definitely hire again!

Our wedding events were held on Nov 18-21, 2021 in Mexico and we chose DJ RAJ Services over multiple other vendors. From the first time contacting Raj, he was professional, punctual, and very knowledgeable. We utilized his DJ/MC services and DJ Amlan and MC Vince were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! We originally booked DJ RAJ for our wedding last May and, as is the story for numerous couples, we had to reschedule our wedding due to Covid-19. We first moved it to August and then October and then decided to split our wedding and reception. Raj was the easiest vendor to work with during this process. He could basically make any day work and was flexible when we cancelled portions of our wedding, which originally we needed his teams support for. This made our lives so much easier. He is quick to respond and communication was straight forward and simple. When it was a couple weeks out he let us know who our MC and DJ was and we walked through the program. It was clear from the beginning that they knew what they were doing and we didn’t have to worry in the slightest and we were right! We had uplighting for our venue and Kay picked out the perfect colors and executed everything beautifully. It definitely enhanced the room and added to the vibe. DJ Amlan and MC Derrick were absolutely amazing! Our dance floor was never empty and we’ve been getting nonstop compliments and praise for Amlan and Derrick from our guests. We worked with DJ Raj Entertainment for our wedding week and they are AMAZING. My fiance and I had a unique vision for each of our events and DJ Raj and DJ Manan really delivered. They were incredibly organized, professional, and most importantly really knowledgeable and able to guide us to help our visions come to life. Before the wedding, the team scheduled a few meetings to make sure that they understood what we wanted. It's very evident that DJ Raj is so experienced and really understands the intricate details of long wedding weeks. He knows what's needed - both to honor the traditions/rituals as well as to create a lit party. Our music for our sangeet was uniquely different from our reception. He was able to get us dhol players as needed. My fiance's baraat was multicultural, involved everyone, and so much fun. The music was seamlessly intertwined into our ceremony. My fiance had one request for the reception - he wanted the dance floor to turn into a club. DJ Raj and DJ Manan did not disappoint!! People from our party are still texting us about how hyped up our reception was. The lighting was incredible, the haze was perfect, and the music was on point. They had something for everyone at the party and our dance floor was packed from beginning to end. We enjoyed every second of our reception and so much of that was because of this team's efforts. Reflecting on the wedding week, all of DJ Raj's advice proved to be true and contributed to making our wedding week - particularly our reception - exactly what we had wanted. Thank you DJ Raj Entertainment, for your part in making our wedding week so memorable and perfect. DJ Ohm and MC Derrick were the bomb. You really can't downplay the importance of having an awesome hype man at your wedding. Everyone had so much fun! Highly highly recommend

When we were started planning our wedding and it was time to select lighting & music, my mother-in-law had one request, ''I want you guys to book DJ Raj.'' I had been to other events in the past that were done by his team so I knew their team did a great job. From start to finish, they were extremely professional, super helpful, and went above and beyond on helping us execute the perfect event!  Our wedding was in an outdoor tent during COVID at the end of October. Raj took the lead, and was extremely proactive, with the venue to make sure the outdoor tent would be electrically fitted to handle everything (all the electrical the caterer would need, the music would need, the lighting would need, and all the electric the heaters would need on a cold fall night!!) He had his bases covered! During the design phase, we decided we wanted to do ferry lights over the dance floor. We ran the idea by Raj to see if our tent would be able accommodate this setup and he had a great response, ''I love a challenge!''  The ferry lights came out stunning and added a beautiful touch to the overall look. Based on our floral design, he created a beautiful look for the rest of the room as with the pin spot lights and and color washes.  For our music, I know many couples will select their wedding playlist songs in detail. We had been to many lively Dj Raj parties before so we told him to play what he thought was best for each event. We loved the music at our wedding!  They did an awesome job at hyping up the crowd and keeping the dance floor busy. The music was so good it even got my 80 year old uncle to dance, who never dances! A fan favorite was MC Vince Chang! He can dance all night long and keep up with the best of them! He did an awesome job at keeping the crowd going all night!  One last thing, since this wedding was during COVID, the team did an excellent job implementing safety precautions for their staff and our guests. We appreciated the attention to safety guidelines. DJ Raj is the best, DJ Amlan is the best, and MC Vince Chang is the best!! So thankful we were able to work with them and look forward to working with them again for all of our future life celebrations.

I’ve used DJ Raj and his team for 3 large family events so far. They always deliver. All their DJs and MCs know how to work the crowd. I have an eclectic group of family and friends and they can pull them all on the dance floor regardless of age, ethnicity, music tastes, etc. They are all talented. They are reasonably priced to boot. They will travel too…did an amazing job with my destination wedding. Hire them and you won’t be disappointed.

Raj, Manan, and the team were truly exceptional in their services for our wedding. They guided my fiance and I through the entire schedule for the day so we could account for every detail, presented all of their services and made recommendations on which would be best suited for our day, and even accommodated our requests on the day of our wedding. Raj and his team were excellent! Raj was great from our 1st phone call to even after our event, he explained all the services, even help us save some money by giving professional advise about lighting and our venue. Raj was our MC, he was perfect, well spoken, had energy, fun but was not over whelming with a professional voice! Manan was our DJ - he was awesome - mixed really well, great music selection and played the right music at the right point to hype up our guests! All the production work was great - lighting and sound was amazing. We recommend DJ RAJ & Team to everyone looking for a perfect event, and the best service!!

We had a 50th Birthday Party for my wife, at the Ritz Carlton, Washington DC, this December, and we used DJ Raj for the event. What a fantastic decision that turned out to be. They graciously accepted our frequent changes in the playlists, offering many suggestions along the way. They arrived to the venue site, on time and expeditiously set up the video wall. They accommodated all the last-minute changes that these types of events incur with absolute professionalism. The event itself was sublime, the music videos blending in seamlessly from not just from song to song, but also with the Dhol Musician and the changes in genre of the music. DJ Amlan took many requests from guests and not only played the song, but also mixed the music video as well. Guests were simply blown away. We will be using DJ Raj for out future events.

DJ Raj came very highly recommended from a lot of friends/friends, so I decided to have him DJ at my brother’s reception. He was very patient and took the time to help me understand all the different packages he had to offer. Knowing what I was looking for, he helped me select the best package for the event. Unfortunately, my brother and his fiancé decided to call off the wedding three weeks before the D day. Although DJ Raj was contractually not obligated to refund me any money, he was gracious and kind enough to offer me a full refund. This kind gesture speaks volume of his personality and kindness, something which is a rare find in today’s entertainment business. Thanks very very much DJ Raj. Your kindness during this tough time is truly appreciated and commendable. I can only imagine what a great job you would have done on the Reception night. We just weren’t fortunate enough to experience that.

Amazing music - we had everyone on the dance floor until the venue closed down!! Great mix of bollywood and english music for the multicultural crowd!!

DJ Raj and his team are awesome. They definitely have experience, and it shows. Our guests raved about the baraat, and said it was the best they've attended. DJ Amlan kept our guests on the dance floor until the hotel kicked us out. If you have the money to splurge on the star-lit dance floor, DO IT!! None of our guests had seen it before and are still raving about it. The dance floor MADE the reception. I would recommend DJ Raj for your wedding!

DJ Raj and his team were great! They had a variety of services available (everything from DJ services to dholi to horse and more) and were very professional. They have a lot of experience and it shows. They did a wonderful job with our music and our dance floor was packed all night! Would definitely recommend their services.

My husband and I first heard about DJ Raj from a friend of ours. She used him for her wedding and had an amazing wedding becase of it so I knew it would definitely be the right choice because everyone could not stop talking about it. The two things guests will critique about are food and music. If the music isn't right, your guests won't have a great time. We also heard about another DJ company used by many people I knew however comparing costs, DJ Raj's prices were unbeatable. It was crazy how much more people spent on the other DJ when DJ Raj charged a fraction of the price. Raj also helped choose a plan suitable for our wedding. If you have the money to splurge, definitely use the starlight dance floor. It is so worth it! Our guests loved it! It made the room pop and everything so beautiful. Raj also helped us when it came to issues we had with another vendor. He got us in touch with a friend of his in case this other vendor did not show up and the friend offered to help us out for free in case an issue did come up. We asked him why for free and he said Raj is a really good friend of his so he'll do whatever he wants. DJ Amlan is also AMAZING. I wanted to create a surpise dance mix for my husband and Amlan was able to do whatever I asked for and had no problems with it. They are both so kind and will always take care of their clients. Because of them, our wedding was the best wedding everyone went to. People could not stop talking about how amazing it was. I highly recommend them!

I could not be more happy with the DJ and Emcee Services you guys provided last Saturday. I had many guests come to me and say the DJ was SO good. You had the perfect balance of the genre of music, read the crowd incredibly well, and kept the dance floor poppin' the entire time. Dj Raj and his team were amazing! They were able to accommodate our preferences while still having the knowledge and experience to work independently and create such a successful wedding for us. Everything from the baraat to the reception dance floor was full of energy, good music, and fun. Raj also had the resources to help us accommodate different venues and lighting preferences, which was great. We would absolutely recommend him to to others.

We had an outstanding experience with DJ Raj and the whole crew! We got married in West Virginia which immediately limited our vendor choices and increased our budget to bring East Indian vendors to the area. We used DJ Raj for mobile baraat (730AM) and the whole crew was amazing in being flexible with timing even though they didn't DJ the wedding ceremony and had to stay for the reception (530PM). Everyone raved about the DJ and MC and their energy and excellent choice in music. Aside from a select few songs, I put all of my trust on the skills of DJ Amlan / MC RAJ and I was ecstatic with the mixes and the MCing. I could not say more good things about these guys. They are professional, fun and truly make you're special day the best possible. They are well worth the money! I would recommend them to anyone at anytime. In addition, I suggest that you opt for their LED lights because they will transform you reception!

We knew the day my husband and I decided we were getting married we would pick DJ RAJ. We had heard about him from so many people and had attended parties where they DJ’ed. You would think if you hire a DJ, they will just come and DJ and that’s it. That is definitely NOT the case when you hire DJ RAJ. You hire DJ RAJ, you get everything. Best music, MC, lighting, projections, tvs… and the list goes on. From day one Raj was extremely helpful and our main point of contact for literally everything we needed. Usually any vendor would try to sell you as many things as possible, but not with DJ RAJ. He helped us save money everywhere even if it would be below our budget. That did not compromise quality ever. He made a custom package just for us exactly how we wanted it. Going in we didn’t exactly know what we wanted and who to go to. Raj has a lot of experience in this industry, which is why he is already known as one of the best. If I had a question about decorators, wedding planners, venues or even the elephant for my wedding, my first stop was him and by the second month into my wedding planning, he became my first and only stop as I saw his recommendations were the best and cost friendly. As guests were leaving our wedding, the most asked question of the day was “Oh my god. Who was your DJ?”. Honestly, I have never seen my grandmother stay on the dance floor that long. The music was amazing from start to finish and I honestly thought that was not possible. DJ Smith killed it. He catered to my Indian relatives and to my friends and co-workers. I would never go to any other DJ after having DJ Smith…can’t go back to anything else. In general, the baraat was perfect...from the music to the MC and dhol, we had never seen a baraat quite like this. Second, the wedding was exactly like we had imagined and even better was the reception set-up – it was everything we had imagined and more. If anyone has seen the Sheraton Mahwah ballroom, there is some revamping needed in order to get that wedding look. DJ Raj Entertainment did a fantastic job with the make over of our reception hall (which was also where the wedding was just a few hours earlier) in a quick and effective manner. No complaints, no problems and absolutely no questions. The whole process was so smooth. If you're looking for a company that will not only make your wedding look like it's straight out of a movie, but also one that cares about you and your guests and is extremely easy to work with, look no further. I wanted the absolute BEST for our wedding and I knew that DJ Raj Entertainment would provide the best entertainment / music that I was looking for my event. The minute I contacted Raj, with my brothers help, everything was seamless. Raj knew what I wanted and gave me nothing other for my event. Every question / concern / change I had was answered promptly by Raj. The DJ & event manager for my event was Amlan and the entire crew were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Amlan heard everything I wanted, every detail, and made sure of that till the end of my event. Every song we requested beforehand was played by Amlan. The MC was great, he really knows how to get to crowd pumped up during the event - my guests loved it! I highly recommend DJ Raj Entertainment for any event! We used DJ Raj's team for our garba (pre-wedding night) event and for our wedding ceremony and they were fabulous - even my internationals guests were jamming to the music and attempting to sing along! We didn't use him for our reception because we wanted a live band but my sister used him for her wedding in 2012 and the reception DJ was awesome! Best part is that his services are very fairy priced. We would def recommend DJ Raj Entertainment!

My family always uses DJ RAJ Entertainment & Event Lighting for all their weddings, so for my wedding I called Raj Gandhi & he was great to work with, nice personality and came through on what he promises! They are talented DJs and MCs, and great at lighting / production work. His crew transformed my wedding into a beautiful reception with the perfect touch of elegance and fun party environment!! They are worth the money, it will be well spent!

Our experience with DJ Raj was a contrast between dealing with him as the management and the DJ we were assigned DJ Smith. DJ Raj was not very easy to get a hold of, did not reply to emails or calls in a timely manner and was not flexible on meeting up for us to understand their services. However, our assigned DJ, was the opposite. DJ Smith was easily available over the phone and email, he answered all our questions and took our requests on board with suggestions for making our event better. He turned up and did a walk through with our day-of coordinator. On the day, he did really well blending the music with schedule and handled all the various requests well. We also hired a drummer, although he was good, he was a bit reluctant to get the crowd moving as we had expected. Overall, if we would recommend DJ Smith to anyone, however we would only recommend the management DJ Raj to those who have patience, time and are familiar with wedding DJs.

We did not provide DJ Raj with a song list for the day of the wedding and literally handed him the music minutes before the start of the wedding. Still, he worked with us and made sure we had great music. Also, he has reasonable prices.

DJ Raj was my Dj for my wedding and I'd totally use him for future parties. He played the exact type of music that all my friends would like. Although they have a specialty in Indian weddings, I'm not Indian and neither was my husband. However, they still played the type of music we wanted. I also provided them with some chinese music to play (on a usb stick). He MC'd perfectly and followed my timeline. I couldn't ask for more. The prices were actually really reasonable. I've now been to 2 DJ Raj parties and I hope I have the opportunity to go to another!!

Raj and his team were great to work with. He provided music services for us at our Henna Party, Wedding ceremony, and reception. The music was awesome and our guests were dancing all night long. Played great tunes for a big fat Indian wedding. Also threw in some old school hip hop with a great collection of new pop. Very laid back and easy going. Provided great lighting for our wedding alter and reception. Good value for money - after all it was 3 events, travel, and a wedding ceremony which started at 8am!

He played good music but his attitude needed to be better. The only thing I have to say is that he told my little cousin that he wouldn't play at the reception unless he got paid. He couldn't wait till the end of the reception to ask for the money. I had given him a deposit already so he had that but I guess he thought I was going to run away with the rest of the money. NONE of the other vendors behaved this way and they all got paid. The decorators called me after my honeymoon was over to get the rest of the money. That's the way to do it not to threaten my cousin during the wedding.
