DJ Rang

Best dance party ever! The dance floor was PACKED all night and, as tired as I was, I couldn't stop dancing. Rang does a great job of mixing musical genres and making sure everyone has something to dance to. My only regret is that we had to stop dancing and leave :D

What can I say, DJ Rang is the BEST. He takes the time to get to know his clients and the type of music they like. We had an Indian wedding, but we requested many different genres to be played throughout the different events including Indian music (both Bollywood and bhangra), Top 40, EDM, and even Latin club. He was able to seamlessly incorporate all of the genres to make sure everyone was dancing throughout the night. I cannot even begin to count the number of people who came up to us to tell us how the DJ was “on point!” He is very organized, professional, responsive, and talented. I am very picky about sound quality and music. His speakers were amazing! I also gave him a list of songs that I wanted him to play during the wedding ceremony at specific times and he did a great job transitioning between music for the ceremony. Our reception was AWESOME and it would not have been as fun as it was without DJ Rang! He made sure to stick to the ‘do-not-play’ list and made sure to play the songs that we definitely wanted him to play. He even did the introductions and MC’d the reception between speeches. He did a great job of keeping things moving and paying attention to details. Hands down, he is the best DJ (for both Indian and American music) and I highly recommend him!!

DJ Rang was one of the best parts of our Indian/American fusion wedding day. My husband and I have been going to his local Dishoom events since basically a month into our relationship, so having him at our wedding was really special. In fact, at one of those early Dishoom nights I told my husband “DJ Rang will do our wedding!” kind of kidding, but not really. So I was stoked when my mom booked the best DJ in the triangle right after we got engaged. Rang met with us a couple times to nail down our music goals- which was an eclectic mix of bluegrass/folk and Bollywood (just like me and my husband!). Each time we met he showed great professionalism and skill. Rang was truly a joy to work with and day of he felt like part of the family. He perfectly executed our vision and everyone had a blast dancing. Rang was really flexible with making the music match the moment- like flower girl meltdowns- and was a great M.C. for the night. He showed great skill in playing music from multiple genres for diverse audiences, as well as his own unique D.J. style. We are so happy that he was able to do our wedding and we look forward to enjoying his events in the future. Thanks Rang!

We loved DJ Rang and so did our guests! Rang had our dance floor absolutely rocking the whole time with fan favorites and fun remixes. Rang was also a great MC for our evening. Additionally, he was wonderful to work with - he is responsive, professional and completely adheres to your lists of must plays/don't plays. If you want a dance party, Rang is definitely your guy! Highly recommend!!

Rang was great to work with! He had our dance floor packed all night long. The uplighting gave our reception the ambiance we were looking for, and our guests loved the photobooth. We received multiple compliments from guests that our wedding was one of the best parties they attended, and Rang played a huge part in that.

DJ Rang did an AMAZING job at our wedding ceremonies and reception! First off, he traveled 2 hours to Greenville, SC for our wedding. We had both an Hindu Ceremony and a Christian one and he worked with me to make sure that I had selected fitting songs for both ceremonies and made suggestions when I needed them. He was very clear in all his correspondence before the wedding and arrived early on the day to set up and was so professional and kept the party at our wedding going from start to finish! Very organized and took charge of the wedding timeline and set-up of mics/lighting/everything you could need. My videographer even commented on what an excellent DJ I had because the sound during my ceremonies and reception were as clear as she'd ever heard. The music throughout our reception was exceptional; the perfect balance of Hindi and American music that kept everyone on the dance floor even on a Sunday night. The photobooth he provided was also a big hit, so happy that we selected DJ Rang! Thank you so much for an unforgettable party!
