to play a variety of music in Charleston were 2-3 times the price of well-known party bands inSt Louis. (Seriously, in the $7000-9000 range!!) As entertainment cost was soon a major issue, I started searching on the “dark side”....for a DJ...e-gads!!!! My daughter picked DJ Rehab, and so it was done. A musician hired a DJ. Geez. During the planning phase, DJ Rehab was a calming vendor to work with. He took my warnings of Bridezilla in stride and worked through the music details with my daughter...painlessly. Come event time, much like I’m familiar with, DJ Rehab was setup well in advance with the right equipment in the right place. (You wouldn’t believe how many amateurs blow this critical part of the event.) In true fatherly skepticism, I was more excited than my daughter to see DJ Rehab’s act. Remember, as a musician I had committed a mortal sin by hiring a DJ. So, the night opens with all of the appropriate dinner music and smooth jazz during the cocktail session and dinner hour. So far so good. After desert, it was show time and I had ants in my pants dying to see what DJ Rehab would do. Let me just say wow. W-o-w. WOW and holy moly!! DJ Rebs played every kind of music under the sun.....NON-STOP for 3 straight hours. Best of all....NO cheesy announcing. NO flashing lights. NO overbearing roaring music. Just nonstop dance music one after another EACH song joined to the next by rhythm licks and riff DJ Rehab added to the mix. I play keyboards in a band that does around 45 weddings each year along with casinos with top notch musicians. No band I’ve ever seen could string on the fly medleys like this. It was seamless. And it literally kept the dance floor jumping all night long. Chris and his able bodies assistant changed my opinion of DJs for the better. My daughters friends, in their mid-late 20s raved over the FJ. Older family raved as well as DJ Rehab knew exactly how to work the crowd. Just to say it again, the beat tracks and samples he used to string tunes together WAS the show and made all the difference. So....don’t be fooled by high or low price. You don’t have to spend $7k or $10k for entertainment. You don’t want a loud mouth mic-hog taking attention away from your special event. You want to just dance and enjoy each other’s company. For that, DJ Rehab is THE best. I would put DJ Rehab on the same list as any touring pro band. He is THAT good. And I’m especially glad he works in Charleston. If he came here to St Louis, my band would be out of business.

d sent a very thorough request form for us to fill out with songs we either wanted (or didn't want) played at our wedding. He also asked us to share a Spotify playlist in order to get our general vibe and what songs we wanted to hear throughout the day. He was very easy-going with the equipment he brought onsite, he showed up on time and he was very engaging with the crowd! We ended up getting the package with the selfie mirror which was a really fun activity for our guests. He also brought his own lighting that filled up the entire room! I could go on and on - he was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Thank you DJ Rehab for being professional, engaged and the best time during our wedding day!

Chris was more than willing to play background music to support the Violin and even showed up early so they could do a sound check to make sure it would be perfect! He even got everyone together on the dance floor to sing Happy Birthday to my sister! We were blown away by Chris going above and beyond to make sure every detail would be perfect for my Groom and I! We can not recommend DJ Rehab enough!!! Thank you SO much!!

pandemic… We postponed our reception an entire year, praying things would work out! Chris was extremely accommodating and understanding, even through a difficult situation. Although I’ve known Chris for almost 15 years, I am not biased when I say he knows how to create an atmosphere for people to dance all night long! Right before I walked down the aisle, I remembered I forgot to return my paperwork to him! I made it known to my planner that I didn’t have a “no play list” and made sure he had the first dance, daughter/father and son/mother songs. That was all he really needed… He didn’t need any recommendations from me! He is a true professional! It was the most perfect party we could have dreamed of! He absolutely killed it! He was able to read the crowd to keep the dance floor full all night! Our family and friends, of all ages, danced until we closed it down! I can’t imagine trusting anyone else to have made our dream a reality! I highly recommended Chris for your next event too!!

At the end of the night we were chanting for an encore and praying our hotel would let him spin at our after party. DJ Rehab was ready to keep the party going, but unfortunately the city sound ordinance wouldn’t allow. I would hire DJ Rehab again in a heartbeat. My husband and I are trying to figure out another event we can host in South Carolina just so we can relive all the fun that DJ Rehab provided.
